Update #12 | We Bought a Cabin on a Ship 🚢 | Departure Delayed

hello peeps uh we have another update for you but uh first of all uh I'm Lynette yeah she's Lynette I am Johan and uh we on a ship we get a lot of questions on that from some of our videos so we're going to try to start with that so new people know who we are our last update wasn't U much of an update because we didn't have much to share so um we did get a little more information um right now we will not be boarding until probably mid next week or so at the soonest mid next week is what they're saying yeah we uh well they were trying to get a risk assessment done but that's not a viable option any longer so we do have to wait for the certifications yeah and um they're down to like 40 to 4 items still get taken care of yeah we had High Hopes there that uh once the fire doors were approved which they were that we would be able to board but uh for some reason that was not enough so yeah mid next week is the dates they're saying right now meanwhile um they are sending um people to other places other them knowwhere yeah they have a few options sending people to Hamburg Amsterdam or breast uh but since we're in Sweden we're not part of that but they are taking care of everybody uh not leaving anybody behind they also emphasize that they want they don't want anybody to be financially hurt by these delays so they will take care of everybody yeah and they um are sending them over the weekend because uh Saturday there's a lot of hotels that are booked for some event that's going on there yeah that's happened for the last few months it seemed that uh Belfast hotels really book up and the few that are available get really expensive I mean 3 400 lb a night and that's usually the Saturday that's the real hang up yeah and who wants to go to Belfast I don't know but well we've been there quite a bit I enjoy it but uh I don't plan to spend three four weeks there so we're doing other things yes and uh yeah so let's get back to the update here I'm going to read here now something so they're talking about the timeline sequence uh how it will be they got to do the SE trials then they can do the pssc uh certification then the residents can board the ship and then they need the MCA and the public health uh to get on board and say it's a go and then we can sail so uh they're saying this should be able to we should be able to be there midweek so we're hoping for that so uh yeah we're just waiting to see when they tell us to head to Belfast and uh that's when we'll jump yeah we're Meanwhile we're not worried we're not worried we're just hanging out here and Johan's Hometown yeah I said show you some video it's not much going on here but uh that'll be the next video right is yeah we'll see what kind of material I get um so yeah that's what we have for now uh anything else we want to add to this that I can recall yeah so it's coming along we're getting there it's coming along and yeah we're we're doing good here so but it'll be fun to get on a ship and sale and see that it would that's what we signed up for but all right that was our update for now so it's a short one at least and see you in the next update this was number 12 it was cheers shotgun
