DOESN'T IT APPLY THIS TIME AROUND? >> SINCE THE WAR IN 1989, 50 MILLION JOBS AND CREATED 1 MILLION. WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT HERE? I THINK PERCEPTION ON THE ECONOMY IS NOT STATIC. THEY EVOLVE AND HER NUMBERS GOING UP. BY THE WAY, TAXING INCOME IS PROBABLY THE MOST POPULAR THING YOU CAN DO IN THE UNITED STATES. CORPORATE TAX RATE AT 28% IS NOT THAT HIGH. TRILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF REVENUE AND SOME OF THIS HAS TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE BUY HOUSES AND GET EDUCATED IN THE STOCK MARKET AND CORPORATE PROFITS ARE AT AN ALL-TIME HIGH , SO I THINK IT'S PUBLIC POLICY. >> IT'S INTERESTING, BECAUSE YESTERDAY KAMALA HARRIS BROKE A LITTLE BIT IN TERMS OF CAPITAL GAINS TAXES. DO YOU THINK THAT SHE SHOULD SEPARATE HERSELF FURTHER FROM THE PRESIDENT? ARE THREE OR FOUR DAYS AGO AND I SAID SHE WOULD HAVE TO COME UP WITH SOME DISTINCT PROGRAM, BECAUSE PRESIDENT BIDEN WAS MORE PROGRESSIVE THAN OBAMA WAS AND I THINK YOU WILL SEE MORE AS WE CLOSE THIS ELECTION DAY. >> I WANT TO TALK A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THAT, BECAUSE YOU ALSO HAD SOME ADVICE FOR THE HARRIS CAMPAIGN. YOU SAID THAT HARRIS HAS TO LAY THE TRACKS FOR A TRUMP TRAIN WRECK DURING THE DEBATE, WHICH IS HAPPENING NEXT TUESDAY. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT YOUR ? HOW CAN SHE DO THAT? >> I THINK SHE IS HAVING AN EXCELLENT PREP AND I ACTUALLY SHE'S GOING TO WIN THE DEBATE, BECAUSE TRUMP WILL NOT PREPARE AND SHE'S GOT SOME TOP-FLIGHT PEOPLE AND I THINK SHE HAS GOTTEN A LOT BETTER ON HER FEET. TRUMP SHOWS UP, WHICH IS STILL SOME DOUBT AND I THINK SHE WILL DO SO JUST FINE. I THINK ONE OF THE POINTS SHOULD BE RAISING TAXES ON HIGH INCOME PEOPLE AND CORPORATE TAX AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE STRUGGLING MORE IN THIS ECONOMY THAN PEOPLE OVER 50 ARE. >> YOU HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO A LOT OF DIFFERENT CAMPAIGNS AND ADVICE FOR DEMOCRATS. WE ARE COMING OFF OF A DNC THAT WAS SICK IS FULL FOR THE PARTY AND RAISED A LOT OF MONEY FOR THE PARTY. YET, THIS RACE IS NECK AND NECK. SHOULD DEMOCRATS BE WORRIED? >> I'M ALWAYS WORRIED. IT'S NATURE. BEING IN ELECTORAL POLITICS AS LONG AS I HAVE IS TO BE WORRIED AND I DON'T TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED. AFTER THEY FIRST STARTED, I SAID, DON'T BE A DEBBIE DOWNER AND EVERYTHING ELSE. IT'S A CLOSE ELECTION AND I'M NOT THINKING ABOUT WHERE WE ARE . I'M THINKING ABOUT PUSHING THIS THROUGH AND PLAYING THEIR ELECTION DAY. THERE IS A PREDICTION INDUSTRY OUT THERE. LET THEM PREDICT. I WILL TRY TO GET UP AND SEE HOW I CAN HELP IN THE UNITED STATES. THAT'S MY ATTITUDE. >> I WANT TO TALK A LITTLE BIT ABOUT WHAT KAMALA HARRIS SAID IN AN INTERVIEW LAST WEEK. SHE SAID HER VALUES HAVE NOT CHANGED IN RESPONSE TO SOME QUESTIONS ABOUT HER CHANGING POLICY STANCES AND I'M CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK OF THAT RESPONSE. NO DOUBT, SHE WILL BE ASKED DEFINITIVELY AT THE DEBATE. >> IF DONALD TRUMP CAN TELL HIS POSITION ON ABORTION RIGHT THIS MINUTE, I WOULD BE GLAD TO KNOW IT, BECAUSE IT CHANGES EVERY 24 HOURS. YES, SHE COULD SAY, I WAS ON THE JOB AND THINK SOME OF THE THINGS PROPOSED IN 2020 WERE NOT THAT WISE AND I CHANGE MY MIND. WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL OF THAT? I DON'T KNOW HOW TRUMP IS GOING TO VOTE ON THIS AND NEITHER DOES HE, BY THE WAY. WHEN THE FACTS CHANGE AND I CHANGE MY MIND, WHAT DO YOU DO? I THINK SHE CAN TURN THAT INTO AND SHE WILL BE WELL PREPARED TO ANSWER THAT QUESTION. SHE'S GOING TO HAVE
