System. Now, taking a look at the uh traffic and the consumers energy outages. Here's Michael Barons over the big wall. Yeah, thanks, George. Things have been slow going across the region this evening and things have progressively gotten worse in terms of power outages. A scattering of outages all across West Michigan here this evening, consumers totaling over 43,000 outages. That number continues to tick up as the night goes on over 885 separate events. The most outages right now, Kalamazoo County by Calhoun Ottawa and Allegan County. About uh 1300 plus outages across Kent County here this evening. One of the things we've been watching out there causing these outages has been the wind speeds out there while they hit a bit of a lull here across central portions of West Michigan were picking back up down in the southern counties. Kalamazoo now gusting to 25 seeing a uh sustained wind at 21 in Battle Creek visibility. It's been low most of the evening too. These are some of the better number that we've seen so far tonight, I've seen around two mile visibility in Grand Rapids in Ionia. Fremont as well. When it comes to blizzard conditions, we've just stayed out of it here this evening, not expecting any blizzard conditions right now. We were close to it during the five o'clock commute earlier tonight. Uh, to get to blizzard levels. We do need winds of 35 MPH or frequent gusts to 35 MPH or greater and visibility at or below a quarter mile. Of course, officially, to be a blizzard that would last for about three hours in terms of what we're seeing out there for the traffic impacts across the region. Here's what we're looking at across Kent County at this hour. It's still quite a bit of slow going. We've seen slow travel conditions all across the region here this afternoon that continues down toward Allegan County with some red levels on 196 and more slow going 96 in us. 31. It's gonna be a slow night and a slow start to the weekend.
