Jadon Sancho Joins Chelsea! | Sterling On Loan To Arsenal | Transfer Round Up With Rio Reacts.

[Music] yes guys welcome to real reacts wow this is a place where you catch all my unfiltered raw reactions to those stories the transfers that are going on now and what we we can't start nowhere else today jayen sancha has joined Chelsea on a loan but with an obligation to buy it so he's gone um and the Jayden Sanchez situation is one I think I've really kept close to I know I've known Jed Jaden since he was a kid I known of him know his family um and obviously he he joined from from Dortmund for 73 million pound in 2021 and I for one was like absolutely glowing going crazy yet we've got a kid who knows how to ball great footballer done some amazing things with Dortmund um and I'm I just look at it and just think like wow what went wrong this is a chapter in his career that I think that he'll want to forget because it hasn't gone the way that he would have envisioned the way he would have hoped the way the club and the fans would have hoped but sometimes that happens man sometimes it just ain't a fit and and it just seemed for whatever reason I don't know what it was that he didn't fit I mean we we can go through let's go through why we think it didn't work for him at Manchester United I think one the playing style of the team I don't think ever suited him big transitions May United became almost a transition team and I don't think that's the way J Sancho sees or plays football um I think when when recruiting him if we was recruiting him thinking that our star would evolve into a team that dominates possession and yes if you're going to pressure but pressure high and the team will stay high um and then be able to play intricate onew passing he's more of a footballer I think the idea that Jaden Sancho was coming to be someone that was a dribble from the edge of our box all the way to the other team's box like we've seen various Wingers that we've had in the past two or run from the halfway line onto something that's not what J Jaden Sancho's ever been about he's a footballer he's a thinking man's Winger who will come in off the line can play one two's intricate passing he a Linker he links people he can drift into the number 10 position that's his game we saw a glimpse of it again at dormund last season when he were alone in the Champions League I watched him against PSG oh that's why I was actually surprised PSG didn't come because he he give the left back of PS3 all four nights work so um he showed again if you play to his JS and the team is built to suit him then I think you would have got a different jayen tancho and and the conversation would have been different around him and I don't think be sitting here saying right it's good for him to get out and go on get playing football but it worse than man united yeah I just don't think it ever the style fit in the end um and that's a shame really because he I think I still think he's a potentially could be a top player but he's got to now go and prove it and I think the pressure now is on him to go and do his thing he's shown he's got the potential man united don't pay 70 something million for someone if you haven't got that the potential that we haven't seen something it's obviously in there he just needs the right team and platform to do it now is Chelsea going to be that we'll have to wait and see because you have to remember he's probably got about 20 Wingers in that Squad that he's got to fight for a position for two two spaces so who starts in that team um so he got a big test there as well but I wish him all the best because I think that as I said I was one of the guys championing them and saying this is going to be a great signing but the team never evolved into a team to fit someone like jayen sanine and I think that goes back to recruitment probably back then you're buying players for the names and what they've done where they are but are they necessarily the right fit for the man united that they were coming into and I think jayen Sancho definitely falls into that category of not fitting into the way that man united were playing at this time because man united if man united If we're honest have been a transition team for a while not good not great at it they give other teams the opportunity to to to break on them and in transitions but they also was good at doing it against other teams as well so that just didn't suit him um I think the the German league is a slower League the the the champions league is a bit of a slower Pace as well so I think them them things suit jayen um and I'd go as far as to say if jadden was at a city or Arsenal right now you'd get a better representation of what Jaden Sancho is in both of those teams because of the way that he plays football they play football in short spaces they they play a lot of combination football they retain possession and that would suit him perfectly I think but he's got to work it out now um I think Chelsea to get the best out of again like I said they've got to become a team that have possession more often than not get him in the right areas get him high in the pitch with sustained amount of football to be able to go out people and play combinations if there's big spaces between jayen his teammates I think that makes it hard for him he needs people to play combination football one twos in and outs give and goes if he can do that if he got if he's got the the players around him and they've got serious Talent at Chelsea if they can do that and he's involved in that then I think we see a different Jayden Sancho as I said he'll won a better return at 58 games I think it is nine goals and six assists that he had for Man United he want a better return from that at Chelsea and he'll need that if he's going to get back to anywhere um anything like man united we we're hoping he would be um so yeah man I think listen I think it's good for Manchester United to to get Sancho out but I think it works as well for Sancho to get out and play so good business I think for both may United and for Chelsea I think you know I think we're looking at man united as well you look at their window got it here in front where you got they've got got rid of a lot of players 72 million pound they've got in the likes of Mason green would R Baka um among a lot of other younger players as well have all gone Anthony Marshal Varan there's a lot of money huge wages have been shifted out of the club um and the signings I keep saying it have been very sensible this window and I think I've got to reiterate the fact as well any fan saying oh we haven't had a big window more no no no I think we've got the right signings for right now for where man united are right now I think inos have done a really good job in really kind of stripping it back and going this and we're not going to go a bonanza kind of um recruitment search to make ourselves look good we're going to do something that's going to set us up for the next phase this next one or two window those and give ourselves an opportunity to really start building um for the future not only the structural and infrastructure in the background but also on the pitch um they' brought in some some good very young players as well um again man united I it seems again lennyo going back to buying the best young talent in their age bracket the best and I'd like to see that continue um and I think the players that they' bought you look at delit you look at xery um ugat they're just them three alone Leno four of them them guys there the thing I like about that is that I think iios have gone into this thinking if these guys don't work out there will still be a market for these players I think the issue that man united have had in the past when they've recruited players and they've gone and bought these biggest shant names whether it be Ronaldo whether it be um uh zata whether it be um all these other players even even like van Deek Rafael Varan like all these players even casmiro is there a market if those deals don't go right for these players is there are they going to coup a lot of the money that they've spent on these guys either it be in feeds or wages and I think it makes it difficult I think there's players that main night would have loved to have got rid of before but because their wages are so high and they've paid such big money for them it's going to be very difficult to recoup that money anony is a great example man unit going to get anywhere near 80 million pounds for him if he goes back in the market now that they've got four Wingers that are probably ahead of him at the moment I don't think so so the businesses I think these ones that have come in now if it doesn't go to plan with these guys or they just a mediocre I think the the next market for them they could still get a decent amount of money and there's value in these players still so economically I think man united working a different way at the moment and that's quite pleasing but obviously these guys have got to still gu and prove thems I think obviously momy I said that man united should have kept him um but I I got to be honest with you I can yes I understand why he's got a fiveyear deal late stages of his career big money the big thing I think to consider here yes you'd like him to stay because he's a product of the academy and all those things and he's a great lad to have around a squad great individual great influence I think probably the best 12th man in the league or one of one of the top three 12th men I think um in in this league for impact but I think for ffp reasons man united probably had to make this still have an they wanted to get someone like Ugarte who's a specialized six who will improve the team um so they had a decision to make and I think we have to respect that and good luck to Scott mom um always give his all and I heard all these shouts from people like Simon Jordan ah Rio's trying to endorse or or or or he wants average at the club what are you talking about this is this is obviously from someone who doesn't understand what I was talking about or understand the value of the 12th men the 13th and 14th men in your squad they're as important as everyone anyone in that Squad because when the when things are going wrong in terms of injuries or lack of confidence you can bring these men in that can come in and perform to a very good level consistently and put decent and good performances in where the team standard doesn't drop and I'm not saying over 20 games but they come in every now and again for one or two sometimes six seven games on the bouns and produce and the value for a squad is huge there's more than just sometimes the 90 minutes that you see and someone that has to start under Superstar players there's a lot more that goes into building a good squad so there's value in these guys so good luck to Scott Momin I hope you do well and get your dreams out there in in Naples also Sterling what a m circus Hack That was that whole situation but I'm just really pleased and I'm so happy for Rahim Sterling that this situation got sorted out and he actually got to go to a club that he would have wanted to go to he wasn't forced out and had to maybe up a big upheaval of his family I think he'll probably s about stay in the same house where he settle in his young family which is important for any player but I'm just pleased the situation I don't think was handled properly it could have been handled better I think definitely from a Chelsea perspective but I'm just glad that he's got to go there I think he's taken a wage cut from what I'm told um I think that he's when you look at it you go okay yeah he's taking a wage wage cut Arsenal AR paying a loan fee which is huge for them great business by Arsenal and I think he's taking half almost half a wage cut to go there um from Arsenal's perspective this is ridiculous a bit of business you've got an experienced Winger in these late 20s maybe 30 coming on who's W four Premier Leagues knows how to get it done played for some of the biggest teams his country has to offer outside of Manchester United at catch for England experienced knows the path to get trophies over the line that is invaluable how Chelsea have let that out the door I don't know it's crazy time will tell if that's the right decision for them but I think for Arsenal this is this is this is almost I think like a marriage made in heaven Arsenal and Raheem Sterling like Arsenal are a team who embedded in culture in within their their their fan base um you see the history the part the past players that have been there and become cult Heroes at the football club Raheem could quite easily fit into that um Arsenal and Raheem Sterling are a perfect fit for me right now Raheem has something to prove he'll tell you in his interviews and I ain't got nothing to prove he will because he's got a pro to the Arsenal fans now that he's good enough and that he's ready and that it's the right time for him to be there and he's capable of helping them win trophies so when you hear players say this I got nothing to prove it every every day there's something to prove you you you don't got to prove to yourself that you're good enough you know you're good enough but there's everybody watching going to be waiting to see how Raheem Sterling one adapts to a new club deals with the new pressures at a football club how he adapts to his teammates and can he deliver and I'm going to say he can and and I'm going to say it again that if Arsenal I mean uh and I'm going to say it again I think Arsenal will win the League this year and this this signing of Raheem Sterling only reinforces that thought that I got at the beginning of the season because he I think he could be that important people can talk about his form over the last few months or whatever yeah I just hope this reignites him now and he hits the ground running and I think I think they wi players do need help sack's had so many games it'll be nice I think for if AR can goes you know what let me just let Saka sit out Saka won't like it but sit out for this one imagine what the output of Saka is going to be give it if he gets a rest here and there he's been doing this on Full Throttle No Rest every game going out there giving mad performances right now he's got a bit of backup you know what it's like when a man's got backup they get bigger they feel stronger they feel better they deliver more and I think that's what these Arsenal forwards will be sitting there going that's a big thing as well what would these Arsenal players be thinking when Sterling walks in it's important is it what a new St gives to the changing room and I think that he comes in and everyone goes yes I cannot wait for this I'm ready that's the kids in the background they're celebrating the transfer as well they're not even Arsenal fans I can't believe it pipe down over there please man united not Arsenal anyway well guys that's real reacts we're finished I can't see any bigger big transfers going on so that's going to be real reacts for for this transfer window but what I would say is on Monday we have rare
