Cristiano Ronaldo was he becoming a bit of a bitter Club Legend with an agenda uh ten Haag speaking in a Dutch newspaper recently saying Manchester United are some long way from winning the Premier League or Champions League you can't say that says Cristiano Ronaldo who's right who's wrong here Connor's a big United fan Connor is ten Haag right are you a long way from winning the Premier League or the Champions League i l yeah uh yeah of course we are you can't be deluded call were miles off it I think we've been miles off it for 10 11 years now um we were lucky to win it in Fergus last season I think that was a drop off from uh every other team especially City and the brilliant Bergie but you can't we we've had 10 years of duk it's not going to sort itself out overnight but um I think Ronaldo is right in a way that you have to you have to be like positive and he expects the I think what he's trying to say is the expectation is supposed to be like at Sky High you know what I mean right yeah I mean the the thing here being Conor like we kind of know it uh Mr Ten Haag but we just don't want to hear it from you is that what you're telling me in in a way yeah I think he's not the most um carite person anyway's so what would you have him say conic so you agree with tenh har you just outline the perspective of the Decay that's been set into man united for over a decade now and everything's just got a bit a bit worse to be honest last years well what do you say when when he comes out with these statements like we've won we we're the second biggest Winning Side in English football in the last two two years behind Man City we've won the FA Cup won The League Cup as a man united fan when you hear that what do you thinks of that ah it's it's last like the football we play like we shouldn't have got through to the final in the FA Cup last year comary we should have won um The League Cup we played a B10 Newcastle side like we you know it it we we're miles off being the United fan Ryan do you agree with Conor where are you going with this who's right and who's wrong here uh well first things first the uh the fact that you went Ronaldo's got a bit of agender when all talk sports seem to talk about is how like rubbish ten har is and I think that's a bit of a silly comment to make because all I see from the media is everyone gunning for tenh har when granted the results haven't been brilliant but there has been discrepancies in that but I just think you can't say Ronaldo's got an agenda and the media haven't against ten hog what do you think Ronaldo's motivation is in this but Ronaldo does have an agenda because Ronaldo fell out with ten har and ex stage left if you're if if people in the media have an opinion that you don't like it doesn't mean it's an agenda it just happens to be an opinion you don't agree with well when the media are running Outlets saying that he lost a testimonial game the other day which is pointless and that delict had a howl of the Netherlands which has nothing to do with Man United it's sort of like where are we going with this okay would you stand with ten hag at this particular time rine is is is a context to what he's saying we're we're we're a bit away from winning the league the Premier League or the Champions League uh well I think he's a dead man walking to be honest I think with what so you think the same thing as the media then so what's your agenda no I think what the media are doing is a bit like when people are on the fence with a decision they'll just Ram agenda down the people on the fence's throat till they eventually believe what he's being told because the end of the day if a different United manager comes in it'll still be the same like nothing will change it will be in this cycle over and over again granted the results haven't been good enough but I just think we need to just chill out and give the manager a little bit more time because rushing into decisions won't change anything well do you think two years I mean because I'm often accused of having an agenda against something because I person doesn't agree with my opinion I've maintained that the first press conference I think First Impressions last the longest and often you get an opportunity to readdress them but my first impression of ten hog was that he lacked the Charisma and Leadership that I felt that a man united manager needed to have and I've seen very little over the last two years to exhibit that I've heard him talking about football in a way that my eyes once I have no knowledge as great as his but I can watch football the same way as you can and I hear tenh describing things that make most people go that's absolute nonsense and I think after 2 years of seeing the same things and man united finishing eighth in the league their worst League performance since the formation of the Premier League you can't hide behind an FA Cup and suggest that the guy is going to go forward and do anything more than he's done for the last two years because two years is quite a significant time to get a grip of things don't you think Ryan well if we take a step back and actually think this new infrastructure has only been in place for a few months so theoretically he's only just started in the new role like we can almost get rid of the last few years because it's like that was under a previous regime it's very difficult when obviously the games changed so much in the last five 10 years um it's now all about systems and you need players to play systems examples like you need left footed Center back you need left footed left backs or whatever or you need a midfielder that can play a certain way and he's not had that last season he had loads of injuries I know it's an excuse that everyone brings up but it is a thing like for example Arsenal have lost ER guard they're going to lose rice for one game let's see how different Arsenal perform point where he had no back four pretty much all of last season he finished third in his first season which everyone just seems to forget because it's that was two years ago whereas like you know what I mean it's like we need to just sort of give and take here okay build a team and a system which we're doing we've still not played like that team that played against Liverpool the first time it ever played together so I just think we need to calm down and just let him build something rather than just constantly being negative all the time but you just said that he's a dead man walking the media like I'm not stupid but you said it you're paring the day when when when it gets to the point like it is now where every day it's get he's gonna be sacked he needs to be sacked yeah but Ryan is it Simon Just other is it your view he's a dead man walking I don't I well I've just said I'd give him time I think we need to chill out but what I mean I'm one person against millions of listeners on the radios and newspapers and television but if you think if you think Jim Ratcliff with respect is going to listen to a bunch of people on the radio to make a decision then you're probably slightly misguided he'll look at the team's performance and if the team's performance if we got a bunch of herberts on the radio not liking ten hog but man united are winning games then he'll he won't be paying much attention to the
