Big conference game for Boise State! | Boise State Dynasty Episode 6! (CFB 25)

welcome back back again with another episode of this Dynasty series and today we are going to play a marquee matchup in the Mountain West we are on the road for the first time since the beginning of the season when we faced Georgia Southern as like the last what four games we've been at home and the last game we played against Utah state was probably our most complete game that we played offensively we were just running the football down their throats Aston Jey won national player of the week he had like 40 carries around that category around that Range four touchdowns I think he had like over 200 plus yards uh the defense we picked off the Utah State quarterback I think four times shut him out in the first half second half we kind of let our foot off the gas but that was like during garbage time we were just scoring at well on the offensive side of the football but we played quite possibly our most complete game last week now we are on the road for the first time since week one and we are taking on Hawaii and this is a big big matchup in the mount West Conference because as you can see we'll take a look at it you can see right here San Jose State's leading the way they are 2-0 in conference play with us being in second 5-0 with 1 and0 and then Hawaii 4-1 but with a 1-0 record in conference play so this is a big matchup in the mount West and uh let's just waste no time let's hop into it this is going to be a very very tough match up we're going to get the ball first it's a big match up both teams coming in on winning streaks so one winning streak will come to an end and a good return at the 24 took too longe Genty three y pickup oh God I just got sacked you making that catch exactly right you know you're going to get hit a lot of all right good pressure they go to the dra all right it's draw play but that's just a one-yard pickup good job by the uh coverage there and we got the sack all right couple of three and outs to uh start the game for both sides a good catch inco good pick up there all right first first down of the game it's exactly what we want to do a just a little off thr tight caught and inside the Red Zone okay and that's going nowhere just so Oney pickup and got it touchdown all right took a shot into the end zone and we strike first it's a direct snap and the ball came out and we have the football picked up the first down but the hit by our Defender was able to get the football loose and for the moment we have the ball caught good pass camper first [Applause] down caught and we got another first down o nice stiff arm breaks a tackle and another tackle and he picks up a whole bunch of yards and he's close to the end zone going to try to run on the left side we got the open Lane and that's a touchdown you got to continue to and oh he overthrew his receiver oh damn wide open over the middle and they're probably going to score damn get some blocks first down nice run by Genty right there get the lot of scage quick run it again deep and it's caught What A Catch by bolt took a shot and just like that we answer right back got the protection from my o line took a shot down the field and just like that after giving up a touchdown on the last drive we answer right back with a touchdown of our own to our wide receiver Austin Bolt good job ready it perfectly the block pick up a nine that might end the [Applause] quarter and it got wrapped up good job and it's picked off and that's going to be a pick six and that's Irby again had a couple of pick six a couple weeks ago he's got his third one in the past few weeks all right someone's in motion to the left side of the map or now going to the right [Music] damn he just lobed it up a damn it and he got the touchdown all right good pick up there first down if I lobed it maybe oh dropped it that I was hoping that Defender would uh and another pick and that's going to be another pick six and we get the momentum right back McCoy just read the route perfectly and just like that we get another pick six at their second one of the game Derby has one and now McCoy has one and theyit the ight coming after and nice job got the sack that's a huge loss make the tackle make the tackle okay nice job and that's not good that's our best player Genty remember they get injured last week and oh it looks like it's it's uh his ankle oh that's a first down that's roughing the kicker throw he got the screen get out of bounds out the clock taking a shot down the field he got another touchdown his second of the game for Austin Bolt put him in motion a little bit to the right he was open took the shot picks up his second touchdown of the game another long touchdown pass third touchdown of the game for Nelson we are just absolutely blowing the doors off Hawaii here in this first half feel like the last two weeks we have played very very good on offense and on defense we've been racking up a lot of interceptions turnovers oh no that's not good that's not good that's a touchdown damn just lazy tackling there SC out of Bounce out the clock oh my God that's just a God man that was dumb that was really dumb and now they have momentum on their side and it ended up hitting the crossb so kind of a sour end to a really good first half for us as you can see you know low three sacks each got a fumble recovery got two pick sixes did throw a pick a few moments later let's get going with the second half just cannot allow a kick return for a touchdown return all right good Joba going to have to score every time we get it because our defense has damn I got the first down the pressure that we're applying has been excellent in this game I don't know how he held that cuz one he got hit and then the second hit happened oh my God again caught by camper e still going and he is gone that's a touchdown it's exactly what we needed saw him open took a shot got it open Lane open grass able to beat that one guy chasing him that's a big response after giving up the touchdown good job good tackle come out on firstes oh God no dude oh my gosh again on top of that last drive and this sort of communication was going on that sideline what s of changes were they I got wed up but it got the first [Applause] down toght allow tight to still going breaks a tackle picks up a little extra yards caught and he's down at the one just going to try to just run it up the middle and we got it touchdown that is Dudley that's our third string running back oh my gosh Come on all right at least she made the tackle but jeez the make the tackle all right good job good snap and it's good okay so I think that makes it a in a 11-point game we got a big lead but still uh a lot of game left to be played yeah there you see the top 25 Texas lost to Oklahoma so there's going to be a new number one heading into the next week oh I couldn't get it'll and we got the first down all right thought he was going to like cut to the middle of the field but he went a little bit to the right but he still made the play dubar running it up the middle oh we fumbled the football oh my gosh we were going to be set up in the red zone and we fumble the football you can't do that and he did it earlier on in the season where he fumbled the football away I think it was against South Alabama I think it was on a kick return He fumbled the ball that's just you can't do that man from the guns to pass a strike down oh my God oh my God make a tackle again and it was picked off they tried going to McBride but McCoy just was right there with them and we read it perfectly and that's another pick all right dubar do not fumble again okay do not fumble again hand off trying to run the ball to oh good hit got the first down good job stays on his feet still going and that's a touchdown what a way to redeem yourself after fumbling the ball oring an absolute collapse we're going to move to 5-0 or no 6 and0 and two and0 in division play onally theall G tack you're going to win this game oh the ball comes out and we have it going to run the ball here a drive where you impose your will that's what they did running it down for to the running fig some things out because this wasn't a great day on the don't want to risk right nice job we are now six and0 on the season in our first year with Boise State and I please please college football committee you got to put me in the top 25 man I'm 6-0 2-0 in division play and I've blown up my last two opponents with this one being a 4-1 Hawaii team that came into this game winning four straight after dropping the first game of the season put up 63 on these guys I got to be in the top 25 I will be very shocked if I'm not there next week Malakai Nelson the player of the game 352 four touchdowns did throw an interception late in the second quarter but other than that really played well and our defense what five total turnovers two fumbles three picks two pick sixes one by Derby one by uh McCoy very very good defensive play all right Boise State Malachi Nelson 17 to 28 3 52 yards four touchdowns one interception so a very good game for him John bris dubar 20 carries 223 at touchdown did fumble the ball Asen Jey before he got hurt 14 carries 84 yards and a touchdown am camper leading receiver five catches 154 yards one touchdown Austin Bolt two catches 89 yards two touchdowns with Matt ler catching the other touchdown two catches with 16 yards let's take a look at the next week I hope like I said I hope I'm in the top 25 I hope oh we are ranked okay we are the 24th best team in the nation so we're ranked for the first time this season as you can see right there we are 24th ranked heading into week eight which is our bye it's going to simulate to the next week since we got the bye nothing really much is going on here oh okay I guess uh DK Michaels will be committing to Boise State all right welcome all right next match up another inter conference matchup UNLV that's oh that feels like a trap game they're one and six but they're one win is in conference play so just got to keep an eye on that that could be a trap game for us in the next game do you want to take a look at the top 25 we are ranked number 20 after the buy so we didn't play play but they did listen to what I said in which you know Notre Dame Alabama and all them okay why is Alabama so higher than me but Michigan is the new number one entering this week so I think who was the one last week let's take a look wow okay so 32 and one from last week dropped to 789 Florida lost to Kentucky Penn State lost to Michigan and Louisville lost to 22 ranked Miami that was a big upset Michigan moved up to number one Ohio State number two their matchup late in the season is going to be very electric might be a spot in not only the Big 10 Championship but quite possibly the college football playoff Kentucky they beat Florida like I said Oregon's back in the top four Texas moved up back to five Auburn is now number six Clemson Wisconsin Arizona moved up okay did not play last week but we moved up four spots and we got some new blood in there Miami with the big one Over Louisville which was I think the number one rated team or like somewhere in the top three God man how I was just talking about it yeah they were number one and you know with their win a very convincing win by the way they moved up into the top 25 so did Maryland Utah and Colorado even though they're seven and one that's very strange as you take a look at the conference standings New Mexico is ahead with a conference record of 3 and0 despite being 4 and3 overall on the season so that's a very interesting uh development there of course us being 6-0 2-0 in conference play the last game we played which was against Hawaii blew them out of the water and there is UNLV ninth in the conference one in one record they're only winning conference play it's a trap game so uh we just got to be uh got to be ready for that but uh yeah yeah I think probably going to wrap it up made some progress blew out Hawaii got into the top 25 matter of fact we're rated number 20 so that's obviously a good sign but uh next episode we're going to play UNLV as we get deeper and deeper into the season I think we're approaching the end let's take a look how many games do we have left 1 2 3 4 5 6 okay we got six games left in the season before we get to the conference Championship round which you know we keep this up we should be in really good contention for that obviously this match up against San Jose State is going to be very very big cuz
