Michael Cole Moves To SmackDown As Pat McAfee Leaves And Joe Tessitore Debuts On RAW

in a few short weeks on September the 2nd in Denver Colorado we are going to have Joe testator on Raw with Corey Graves so a brand new team because right now we have cole and McAfee arguably one of the greatest Duos in a very very very long time so that's who we're going to have on Raw Corey Graves Joe tessore on Smackdown because Pat McAfee is gone for college Day football we are going to have Wade Barrett with Michael Cole Michael Cole has referred to Cory Graves as his hair someday when it comes to commentary and Corey Graves is the lead commentator on Smackdown currently so to have him go to Raw is definitely not a step down or a step up it's just okay my issue has come January or February when everything falls back into place as they are now for the most part here's my question we're going to have Pat McAfee and Cole back on Raw when raw moves to Netflix great so that's going to be as it is right now but on Smackdown we're going to have Joe tatur as the lead play byplay commentator on Smackdown I'm assuming he's going to be joining Corey Graves what's going to happen with Wade Barrett Wade Barrett's definitely not replacing Cory Graves I can guarante Dam that so what is going on there is it going to be a three-man team honestly if that's the case with the likes of Cory Graves Joe tessore and Wade Barrett I honestly don't think that's going to work out but I could be wrong I am very anti-3 Man team I mean it can work I'm not saying it doesn't work I just don't like it the only thing I like about it is you get to have more people doing the commentary that I may enjoy but that doesn't mean I want them all together in a commentary gang bang okay so that's that so again quick recap in September Michael Cole is moving over to SmackDown to join Wade Barrett as Cory Graves comes up to Raw well up down whatever moves up to Raw to join Jo testator then in January Jo testator swaps to smack Smackdown which some people would be thinking well why not just put him there I don't know the logic or the reasons behind it that's just the way it is to me it doesn't make much sense maybe if I was able to speak to Triple H I could make it make sense but that's never going to happen so yeah I have no idea I'm intrigued to find out what's going to happen come January February there's also another thing talking about commentators that I always thought was interesting we used to have real heel commentators like Jerry Lawler back in the day or Bobby Heenan um you also had one of the best in my opinion the real real real heel commentator Jesse The Body Ventura but this person says no more these aren't the days of Bobby Heenan and Jerry Lawler who were either managers or wrestlers themselves so that was their character so they just brought over that same energy if you will to the commentary Booth I argue that when you have a heel and a color face play-by-play commentator whatever you want to call him it just brings a unique Dynamic instead of everybody's like Hogan's a chump like yeah he is isn't he that damn chump well hopefully he's going to get what he deserves I hear what you're saying there gorilla I really hope so too it it just it would I don't know I I just don't think it would work however in that same light Cory Graves and Wade Barrett when they came together I was kind of confused because I was like those are two heels in my mind and then you have Pat McAfee and Michael Cole and I'm like well they're kind of like two faces and but then but then Pat McAfee could sometimes be like yeah that's right whatever and then he'll kind of go heal and I kind of feel like that's what Cory Graves is doing he's kind of like heel but he's he doesn't have his heels too deep in the ground I feel like weight Barrett is more the whatever but then at the same time I feel like they're switching roles because there were times where where Wade Barrett in recent history would ask a superstar like um Drew McIntyre well did you really think it was necessary to do what you did I mean you know have no sense of Pride and I was just like aren't you a heal so I kind of feel like they're like they're switching I'm not complaining I think the commentary is great actually between Wade Barrett and Corey Graves and Michael Cole and Pat McAfee I'm just a little bit confused as to their specified like roles like internally Ria Ripley is a face and so is Damien priest and you know what I mean like there I just I don't know I find it intriguing I don't really know what's going on I just know that it's kind of working and I'm and I'm not complaining I'm just a little bit more concerned for either losing Wade Barrett in January February or it becoming a three-man team and I'm just not sure because you're diluting each person obviously as to how much they could speak because you got to let the other person speak uh and not let them speak whoever the lead is too much to make the other person feel like a third wheel so there you have it let me know down below your thoughts on this whole situation do you like Joe you have no idea who he is maybe you heard his voice in the video and you're like I don't think that's a voice for wrestling that's what some people are saying I'm just going to have to wait and see I mean I really really liked Maro Ronaldo Colorado whatever his name is uh I forget what it is but Maro Ronaldo Heraldo uh was really good I thought but that didn't last too too long and then we had him with JBL to be perfectly honest I really liked Byron Saxton I might not I might be like in the minority there but I really enjoyed Byron Saxton and and I miss having like a real heel commentary team a team consisting of a heal and a face I just I don't know to me that's the formula that I've always enjoyed and right now I'm not too sure what what it is I feel like I said both Cole and McAfee are both face and then Barrett and graves are kind of heel but they've toned it down especially Corey Graves he's absolutely toned it down especially since Vince has left in in my opinion I could be wrong all right that's enough rambling for me I just wanted to keep you in the how did I speak
