picks up on this and I'll tell you in advance we are sort of unanimous in a lot of our games today what do you need to see from Caleb Williams in in his second start that they get a win which is you know just the first number one picks since David Carr to win his why you squinting you inside it wasn't pretty I mean that that was hard to watch that was a non loss the the the bar has been set High by some of these young guys coming in and that was not good you know for everything we saw during the regular season it's different when they game plan for you half the people he's playing in Cowboys in week one what we learned is Mike Zimmer is going to take this defense to another level that Mike Zimmer understands how to use all these pieces someone like overon who we saw in the nickel package and sub package at the Mike linebacker position middle backer position is going to add a different dimension of speed so I think that's what we know offensively I don't believe we know a lot I is always the question uh you had a rookie left tackle holding up okay against miles Garrett right I mean big deal Tyler you mentioned the defense like I I had this is the game I'm covering on Sunday so I've already had some conversations with some people I was talking to some of their defensive players and they were saying like we really feel like last year you know we weren't as disciplined on defense attention to detail all stuff and they feel like a that playoff game really kind of brought it home for them and B you know Mike Zimmer kind of brought it home for Zimmer played at a high level he had two sacks and interception but now you have somebody that can do all the closed left closed right making a check somebody that's comfortable within his defense to get them in the right position Dan Quinn did such a good job that he parlayed his DC job into a head coaching job but here we all are saying maybe the defense gets better under the also when consistently hear the you we got the Steelers at Choose Wisely homie who you got homie choose accurately I mean come on this is a Steelers defense going against a rookie quarterback I mean what what are we talking about I mean listen Justin Phils listen we've seen him play decently but but we haven't seen the consistency now he if he wants to take control of this job he's going to have to put another performance like he put in last week he was very uh efficient he was able to run for 57 yards with his legs and he gives him the best chance to have a opportunity at the postseason because of the effects of the Run game is which is which what the Steelers were always built on it's another unanimous pick yeah in the history of the NFL has anyone ever been 2 and0 without scoring a touchdown so I think that could happen I think we could be talking about the Steelers next week and that could be the case I want to ask you my my favorite former Steeler about what we saw from Justin Fields last week because one way of looking at they were so conservative they literally I saw a passing chart they did not throw one ball between the hashes the entire game tell you what they got they got two lightskinned cats that play safety in Atlanta and Jesse Bates and Justin Simmons I wouldn't throw it in there that's why they stayed away maybe also they looked at Atlanta's offense they said they're not scoring on us today the only way we lose this game is to turn it over and they went a little I'm going tell you what was exciting about what we saw from Justin Fields he had an opportunity to push the football down the field three times and all three times those footballs were complete outside of the OPI that called back for George Pickins I believe we see more of that this week what I want to see is what other skill player or what other option they have outside of George Pickins because you going to find him this week because the Dude standing across from George Pickins is name's Patrick ceran II he can absolute go and I think Arthur Smith opens up the offense a little bit more we'll see a little bit more freedom from Justin fields and it's how he handles and process you had that game were there I saw Arthur Smith running off the field after the game and he said we were not going to let Jesse Bates wreck that game and you saw that passing chart the next day nothing in the middle of the field and Arthur knows Jess he coached him no G the beauty of this situation is you have Arthur Smith an offensive play caller but also a head coach he knows that hey unless the Denver offense can score against our defense we're not going to lose the game on offense so they may win another game without scoring a touchdown and it reminds me of the 09210 Jets Red Light Green Light yeah yeah exactly where Rex was comfortable could be effective also to TJ TJ I just need to say this TJ watt is the best defensive football player in the world he's he's that good and I believe they understand that with him and so Arthur Smith being a former head coach understands complimentary football I par one a word with you say he stay does Justin Fields Remain the starter at least until they lose this is this is the best no Justin Fields Remains the starter to me period unless unless it all falls apart this is the best case scenario for Mike Tomlin I don't have to make a decision because Russell Wilson is injured so I
