rat we down here in one ponds at Deacon uni had some match them today can you give us a bit of an overview of what happened out here um yeah we played uh four quarters for 15 minutes and uh yeah it was pretty good uh we changed the teams a bit so some players were in one team for a quarter and then they changed some stayed right through but I think the the pleasing aspect was our forward line really working together as a collective um that was great but like all match Sims um our good plays are really good but when you got the same team as us as the opposition you say gez that wasn't well defended or we didn't do that quite so well so there's some really good things I think you know ginan and new players coming into the team really fitted in well but yeah we come you know I don't think we had any injuries uh yeah and we got a good hit out and what about that forward line you mentioned we've got the likes of Mario CH down there he looked pretty good today what do you see from him going forward well it's not just about his ability of marketing the ball it's about bringing it to ground and when you got you know Bruce and our Smalls down there we can create something and get another chance and it's a great support for Mitch Lewis like he's done you know a lot of heavy lifting over the last couple of years and to get somebody of maral's size and his power in the air and he's kicked five goals in you know games of footy so he's a threat down there so he'll make opposition have a look but it won't be is he hitting the scoreboard all the time it's what he does for others as well what about you mentioned Mitch Lewis and um CJ's another one who's come back into some match play how good is it seeing those boys back out running again well it's it's good for them individually but it's good for us Collective um you know the continuity between the you know the other five forwards with Mitch and same with you know CJ's playing up on the wing at the moment so just to learn some of those habits and be part of that Midfield group I think it's really important were there any key moments out there that made you go oh get excited or anything you can give an insight to the fans well probably the two that when you look at it we see the you know the the same BS doing the same thing War B fending off and you know running out of the middle which was brilliant and Reeves doing some good Ruck work but I think a couple of moments where you just like oh that's a that's a shot of the future you know will mccab coming through Center half forward when he's a center half back running and scoring a goal I think he's a great moment and Kel shadir on the far side taking a big big Mark in the pack and you go whoa he's up in the clouds there and he's taking a big hanger and you sort of go well that's a little snapshot of the future what we we've talked up the forwards a little bit but can you give us an Insight on how the Defenders are going anyone that stood out with their efforts today yeah well James blank you know just did a really really good down back just good organization and really set everybody up and you know aim on and and Imp in that as well so I think I think both you know sort of sides had their moments in the game defensively and offensively so I think it was really good and I think most players would have walked away thinking you know I contributed today I had I had a you know opportunity to be a part of this and influence the game which is great and lastly we'll be heading to do some int club and practice games so what do we take from a day like today into the into those well we've got a 4-day break now so um the players have worked really hard and we're probably at the top of our blocking you know um physical output we probably can't go too too much more so they'll have four days and ramp up again the coaching group will probably sit down and look at where we are from a game plan point of view and just see where everything is and what we need to maybe sharpen up and things that are going really well so we've got four days but there'll be a little bit of work going on from coaches and the players will take a well earned rest awesome thanks for your time r no worries take you
