Movie Stop #331: Kent State @ Pittsburgh

[Music] welcome to season n of movies stopping just like we did last year we're starting the season off not a losing my train of thought there but um just like we did last year we're starting the season off not at the not at the movies at least not yet we'll be there next week for Beetle Juice beo juice but um we'll go to the pit game pit begins their new season today against Kent State starts at 12:00 it's about 9:00 a.m. right now so uh we're on our way down there now and um come along for the ride so let's go ahead and start the new season off with a bangang which I hope the pit Panthers will do but um knowing this town and especially the week that they've had this week um pit Sports in general I'm not making any guarantees so um so yeah let's head out to Pittsburgh [Music] I have no idea told us earlier this week I don't care if we're playing Georgia or if we're playing Camp State the focus has to be on what we can do as a team and so pit looking to improve to one and0 today and start off the season with a win all want to extend a warm welcome to pit offensive coordinator Kade Bell making his debut today in his first season with the Panthers and he led the best offense in the country at the FCS level a season ago drilled to see what he's going to be able to bring to this hit offense and lastly obviously we got to talk about quarterback Eli hin the red fresman transfer from Alabama will get the start today for the Panthers but pit has two great options at the position with Nate Yarnell to see time as well well fans the weight is newly over kickoff is right around the right now unless they score scores another touchdown but they're going to win this one 52 to 24 as they should win beat this as should toy Bo toy Bo as they should win this game all right we're going to head on out of here in just a little bit and I will see you guys back at home all right so I'm finally back home now and the final score was actually 55 to 24 they had kicked the field goal as we were leaving the stadium uh but um yeah pit one 5524 I gotta say it was a lot closer than I think anybody really expected Kent State was pretty came pretty close to potentially pulling off an upset it was like 2821 at one point but then um they put it together in the second half and we're able to keep Kent State from getting too much too much ADV getting too much of an advantage of is because there were times when K State could have easily taken control of the game um but um yeah and you might have noticed that I kept that last Drive in there mostly because of the dude that was uh screaming behind us he was scream scaming at the refs all game long like stuff that I wish I would have recorded but um unfortunately I didn't get a chance to get all the the stuff there but um so over all yeah it was a very fun day in general going to the casino and all that but um and consider this the first of many trips out to out to the to the stadium this year because I'm going for a couple more games later in the year uh especially uh two weeks from now for the backyard braw and then on Wednesday the 11th uh we go to the Pirates game with for that for that day so I'll have that as well but um I'll be out of Rivers Casino a lot more over the course of the next couple of months so um so there you go but um before I get out of here because I'm really tired and I have still have a lot of stuff to do I still have a lot of stuff to get ready for tonight but um but I before I go I want to show you some of the things I picked up in the last week so you'll notice that the family is here now I've got every Simpsons plush right here including the Box including the ones that I got last week home Bart and Lisa and then I bought Maggie off of Walmart and um had to pay a little extra for both her her and M and Marge but um had to get the collection together and I did get Maggie uh didn't have it the one one I went to last week and it was a little bit more than the 10 bucks of the other ones were but uh I picked it up there and I picked up Marge off of eBay because that's the one that's like the Rarity to find in most stores um as you can see right here is that dress is really clinging to marg's bazooms or bazongas or mumbos or whatever you want to call it but um yeah I thought that was kind of amusing when I when I got that the first time but um as you can see I can put them back together again there we go the family is all here now so I have all the Simpsons plushes here all in the Box I grabbed when I picked up the other three plushes last week at Walmart I do have a couple things that should be me that should be mentioned here uh some new movies I I bought in my collection so um uh first things first let's get to the new releases um I got the Garfield movie on on Blu-ray DVD combo pack um I really like this movie I don't think it's as good as it as as great as it could have been but it still beats the crap out of the Garfield movies that Bill Murray was in even though I like Bill Murray a lot I thought he's a decent choice for Garfield this was still the more the far superior movie it was not a perfect movie by any means but I like to think of it as kind of close to The Angry Birds movie which is maybe the this is actually maybe the same people who made that movie but but um yeah it's a fun movie it's a fun film Chris Pratt I thought did a pretty good job as Garfield um it's a good movie I really lik it a lot um so there's that and then of course I had to pick this up Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes what a day what a wonderful day that's Mad Max I know that but also that's also one of the lines from the main character in this from the main villain in this movie uh really really nice looking steel book in general but um uh kind of like with the fall guy earlier in the month uh you might notice something here includes two versions The theatrical on the 4K version and inside the lens the raw cut on Blu-ray and I had to look just to make sure that and I'm pretty sure that the Blu-ray does not include I don't know why this wouldn't include the theatrical version but if you look on the back here if you look right there it says Blu-ray uh Blu-ray inside the lens the rock cut so I don't know if that means that the theatrical version is not on here here but um the 4K version only has the theatrical version I'm assuming the Blu-ray has the theatrical version on there I don't think that would make a whole lot of sense cuz it was like that was the Fall Guy too except there was the extended version that was only available on 4K and not the theatrical version which um and not on the Blu-ray I should say but um I'll check it out for myself and I'll see I'll let you know next time when I see you guys but um uh last thing I picked up and I found this at a reasonable price online pretty much the same place I would have gotten if I bought it at Walmart fortunately my Walmart does not have the steel section and uh I really wanted this the new tror 7 movie collection on steelbook a limited edition glow-in-the dark steelbook mind you and it's really it's a really really nice steelbook I got to I got to tell you like this is like this feels really good like it's like you can feel like the texture on the Tremors logo on here like um you also got the J C car with all the credits on here I thought this was kind of hilarious because all seven movies are in here however yeah so there's the so there's that but yeah look the last movie Tremor shrier island is on it it's like in an envelope and I think that's so that's so cheesy but and so some might say it's kind of it's kind of pathetic but you know what these movies the Tremors movies are guilty pleasure movies especially especially the first movie but it fits with this year but I just thought this was kind of hilarious to to open this up and see this envelope with this last with last movie Tremor Sher Island but um it's pretty much the same as the regular Tremor skill books that I had I did put that on eBay so if eBay and mcari so if anybody out there wants to buy the this along with that along with Sher Island I go hit the links down below and you should be able to find it there but um let's go and put the put the stuff back in here uh give me one second so there you go the Tremor 7 movie collection all seven movies and this beautiful looking steelbook case all for $40 which is about the same price it with be at Walmart glad I found it on eBay for a good price and didn't have to overpay a whole lot because I think on merari I saw one that was going for like 68 bucks but I got lucky and got this one for 40 so um yeah definitely worth the price of it indeed so um so there you go those are all those are all three of the movies I picked up over the course of the week so um other than that I'm tired but unfortunately I've got more work to do tonight so there will be a new talking about the movies talk about the movies coming up later tonight as well as the beginning of September looking at every Simpsons episode starting with in the is all September long so um definitely be on the lookout for that but um but uh thank you for
