[Music] y tell you what guys it's quite a spectacle up here right now in Big Bear uh we're trying to put out a fire and there's a lot of Emergency Services up here right now trying to keep it under control and also the safety of uh the people you know that live up in uh in the Big Bear area uh from Lake Arrowhead to Big Bear Lake and the fire is rushing up the mountain side not sure EX exactly where it's coming from but it's at the bottom and creeping its way up that's the worst part you know it started at the base of the hill I actually saw it last night uh as I was coming up uh the 330 and you could see it uh it had just was getting well just get started and uh it's I guess overnight it uh it got even worse because now you know I didn't have I didn't see too much too much uh you know fire or anything fire related up here last night you know like they were actually trying to do something but now they're up here now there's a lot of stuff going on as you can see and uh yeah it's pretty crazy right now I'm just trying to get off the mountain I'm just going to I'm going down but they they diverted me from the the 38 330 to the 18 cuz they've got that that uh 330 38 highway 38 closed off cuz I think that that's where the uh fire has uh has gotten out of control so they they've closed it and they're just trying to uh divert traffic off that side of the mountain so they closed it the traffic on both ways North and southbound and uh you can see people are are coming up the same way and and there's other there's also people going down the 18 because no other way you can get up here so I'm just uh heading down right now and hopefully there's no there's no uh there's no traffic so far so good and I hope they get this fire under control because uh you know there's a lot of people like I said live up here in Big Bear in Arrow uh in Lake Arrowhead are area and the surrounding areas and hopefully everybody's safe and sound and you guys be safe and sound you know don't try to come up here right now because you can see the fire is not under control at all in fact it is just starting to get out of control it's actually because it started at the base of the mountain um I think they're going to have a harder time controlling it because it's trying to head up the mountain the side of the mountain so hopefully they can get that under control maybe try get get it to like get through the fire road so they can cut it off the you know the best way they know know how these guys are the best you know they they deal with these fires up here all the time and uh this is not anything different the only difference is that it is the fire has started at the bottom of the mountain and I think it just makes it a lot more difficult to control a fire that's rushing up the side of a mountain we know that it's pretty dry up here here and the weather's been so hot lately and uh much much much more harder to control the fire when when the conditions are like that right now it's nice you know the weather here is uh at the bottom it's it's almost it's 86° so you know it's way better than 100 and up I think uh anything cooler is is going to be helpful it was raining at the top of the of the mountain I came from the beig Bear Lake area and it was sprinkling up there and it just actually stopped it stopped sprinkling and um yeah and that's uh that's it for now you guys be safe don't try to come up here it's not going to be a good situation unless you live up here and uh yeah and you have a home up here um please be safe you guys take care
