Paul first of the Season ask for your back on that game first half we weren't good enough second half we were much much better um our first half performance has cost us the game today um we spoke about before the game how um how tough it is to come to a place like fur um what they're very good at is slowing the game up and the dark hearts and um and playing to their strengths um which we knew about and the boys were boys were fully briefed on it um and when you go into a game of football and you don't do things quick enough um you don't win first contacts and and second balls then then it's always going to be a long afternoon I thought um I thought first half we were very very disappointing um you know in in doing the um doing the fundamentals of of the game the basics of the game competing heading running um and I just felt we you know we were second best first half in that um having said that there there's absolutely nothing in the first half um you know it's is it a penalty I'm not sure but um we had I don't want it's too early for me to start getting into uh officials and decisions we've got Stonewall penalty first half that's not given against Cody cook um and there's his I 50/50 I can see why he gave it you know um disappointing but um second half it we reared up made a couple of changes um and we've done more than enough to get something out the game really so yeah of course we're bitterly disappointed that that we've lost the game um the positive thing is that the second half you know their Keepers made three good saves two unreal saves um you know and it's um we was getting Joy second half we was we was I felt like it was coming but you know a little bit of navity in the final final bit just cost us a little bit but um yeah look disappointing second half performance was very very positive overall I think our first half performance has cost us something having said that I thought second half we did more than enough to get something out of the game we saw your unhappiness at the first half by your two changes at halim and then another one before the hour of three substitutes but he did have an impact particularly lanii yeah he looked bright when he came on against um Enfield last week he he he he trains very well and he gives brings us an energy um you know things had to change at halim I didn't feel like you know we was going to get back in the game with with the team we had out there so um yeah I I thought the substitutes made a positive impact as we know in this league no time to uh rest on these things and and uh but great game Tuesday night half City time to put it right instantly yeah look Farmer's gone obviously we we'll think about it and it you know it's going to be a long trip home now because you know losing games of football are difficult to take and it's it it's not easy but obviously we've got to um full focus on the game against B now on Tuesday night um see how the boys recover we'll train Monday and see see where we are physically um but like you said it's um the beauty of football is there's always in game um and like quite rightly said we we've got a tough one on Tuesday night with this being their first defeat be interesting to see how the how the team themselves reacts on Tuesday like yeah so it's our it's our first real disappointment isn't it you know um but you're going to lose games of football um and like I said second half we we did more than enough to get something out that game more than enough um a couple of chances I would have fancied us to take you know um half a penalty sh with Seymour as well um you know but um yeah I'm not one of those who stands here and says you know I'm disappointed but there's posit there is positives but it takes me a little while to to start looking at those positives so look we've had a we've had a kick in the teeth today um but you know you just you you recover and uh like I said quick turnaround so we go again
