Paul hard own Victory here at BF what was your view of the game well you're right it was a hard ear Victory um I thought first half we were great thought we were terrific um see you then we scored a good goal uh we had two more glaring chances we should have scored Stonewall penalty Stonewall penalty um and we should have gone in at halim um more than one nil I we were fabulous um second half we knew B would come on top um they changed their shape they started passing the ball um and I thought we um our shape was great our our character and our our desire was terrific we can be we can be a lot better with the ball second half which um bit of game management we kept turning the ball over and it felt like waves of attack ham he's made a couple of saves that I would expect him to make um they they score and then obviously you um it gets a bit fraught at the end a bit you know you go like I said um again said you go deeper you you you you can Scream and Shout stay up stay up but the boys aren't going to do it but um proud proud of them for number one the reaction from Saturday because it was a very very disappointed bus very low bus um coming to trained yesterday they still were a little bit low was a case of talking to and getting them up um you know being focused for for today um but overall um you know I thought it was I thought it was a a very very good gritty away performance on a Tuesday night at B who um they're a good team they've got good players and they've been in and around the playoffs for the last few years and you can see why as teams generally find out players do come back to haunt them and tonight Cody cook has done that but away from that did you find that that early goal helped settle the team down yeah I think you know there's never a bad time to score but I think that was we was on top then as well when we scored um and then we had some um the next 10 minutes after I thought we we we should have put it to or not put it to bed it's too early to put it we should have scored again definitely and first half I think that's as good as we've been um since since I've been here although it's only early obviously I think that's as good as we've been in second half I thought you saw a very different side to us um you know gritty hard work working um you know they covered some distance there the boys um the fans at the end got us through it they were they were terrific um said to the boys in there said you've got to realize how lucky you are to be playing for T United there there's not you know there's not many clubs I've played in the football league and had less than that on a Tuesday night you know I thought that the fans were unreal and you know um chanting getting us through it and it makes a hell of a difference we've seen two sides certainly to the side tonight haven't we first half cross is coming in crash on one side Carson putting in across on the other good service into the box at the second half when they scored their goal you saw that that Unity of the of the team digging in to hold on to the win yeah I think it's um it it's you you'll know it's it's one thing that I advocate of my teams um you know I said in my first ever press conference that they they would do that um and they have there's no reason why they won't do that but it's um sometimes sometimes football isn't pretty you know like I said first half 4 terrific football um second half um it wasn't pretty at all but um you know there's different sides of football and you sometimes you got to dig in to win a game lows of Saturday highs of tonight has to be tempered tomorrow ready for another big game up Playmore on Saturday when ding comes down yeah exactly I think it's um I spoke to a mate of mine today who I speak to quite a lot and he he said you know that that the highs are going to be high and the lows are going to be low but you got to find a middle ground I mean I'm not going to lie to you I was low Saturday I didn't I don't think we deserve to lose that game um spoke about it first half we weren't great second half we did more than enough to to secure a point minimum so it was it was it was a long way home from farra Saturday wasn't a great day Sunday either so um you know but it's about being calm trying to you know and that's for me as well it goes for me as well um so um yeah we just want you just want a reaction don't you you know and it's um I thought like I said to sum up really I thought I thought first half we were absolutely terrific second half um we didn't have a lot of the ball we turned over too much but but we really dug in and showed good resilience
