2024 Apple Event! NEW iPhone 16? NEW Airpods?

all right guys welcome back to another video of Shaman J it's the 10th the event was the 9th it was yesterday um I checked it out I was bored uh but I checked it out anyway so um yeah uh it happened uh the leaks were pretty much spot on for the iPhone 16 and then the iPhone 16 Pro Models uh in another video I I thought this was a button here for area for the on the case for the but it was actually for a camera module after I did some research some of you guys point out it's for a camera module and it's not so much it's the little attack the button that they have there to control the camera so let's talk about it real briefly here so the new iPhones uh you have the button area here where it's going to control the camera uh you still have the action button now as a as a real user I got to tell you that I didn't change the action button to only it's just there for vibrating and that's that's all I use it for I've never touched that button and changed it to something else so I wonder how how much this button over here was as a camera module assistant is really going to make people say I got to have this new iPhone I don't know I'm wondering how sales are going to go this year because I think a lot of people are probably tired of this design and you can keep saying people can keep saying oh if it's not broken don't fix it yeah to a certain extent this is a cool design you know I like it um but come on take a chance do something risky Apple other than just taking away like on the 16 they put the modules back like this uh and they're say they're doing that for the purposes of the new camera software so you'll be able to do you know it'll function properly with the c camera um software but I I guess if that's what they say that's what they say that's cool uh but you know the new iPhones I guess I wish Apple would stop saying and we built it from the ground up just because they changed a few things everything technically has to be built piece by piece but you know I guess man this is the verbiage that Apple uses is really annoying it's always been annoying and it's just it's still annoying now what did they change on these iPhones well the I have the pro model here this is the 15 Pro and I'm going to get the 16 Pro they just made the screen a little bit bigger you know you have the new controls for the camera now and again I've never used this action button for anything else but just vibrate that's it uh but I'm curious how many people actually use that action button for something I if you're in my age group you probably don't you probably just have it for vibrate and that's it but you know a younger more hip crowd probably has that thing tweaked out to do a bunch of stuff I don't so I'm wondering how well this new button here is going to translate into sales for apple and make people draw into buying this new iPhone because if you have a 15 it is a very thin line a strong line between the 15 and the 16 Pro uh but if you have the 14s you know backwards it's kind of like Apple's almost telling you we're forcing you to do it because you're going to miss out on all these these features um so that's tough but that's just how it goes that's what these companies do to stay profitable and they can convince people to to do it so I'm wondering how well this function button here will be with the camera controls how much better it's going to be now Apple says that they've given it three new cameras for the pro model great I'm sure the quality is just going to it's going to be good um because these cameras are phenomenal and I'm sure it's going to be good on the on the new version as well uh but some I want to point out something also that they didn't talk about about the iPhone I didn't hear them say it the new iPhones have WiFi 7 now some of you guys aren't jumping for joy but I am I think that's phenomenal because I have Wi-Fi 7 in my house so I want to see the difference I want to see if on Wi-Fi I can pull all that I can out of my Wi-Fi router uh and and and really get the top speeds that I that I'm paying for now I do get it now uh but not as good as it's going to be a Wi-Fi 7 cuz I have phones that have Wi-Fi 7 and their their Wi-Fi speeds are 100 to 200 I'm getting peaking out like they're almost some of them are most of them are one gig up and one gig down but these phones that don't have Wi-Fi 7 they linger and you probably saying well Jay that's incredible these These are between five and 7 800 uh phones that don't have it and so that's still great um but the fact that it has Wi-Fi 7 now people should be jumping up and down for that because Wi-Fi 7 routers now are e readily available and easily accessible and they're not expensive so that's a huge plus to me um aside from them making the phone a 6.3 in display adding Wi-Fi 7 this camera module button here and you you would think I would be really excited about talking about like them adding the camera button or whatever because I'm I predominately use this for recording and if I'm not using it for recording uh I'm just using it for phone calls and emails and texts and social like everybody else else so these new cameras um are supposed to be much better you know you've got 120 frames on there you know they they talked about a bunch of stuff I just want to use it real world so you know they have this new color that's out I'm definitely not getting this gold color it's not my style I'll probably just go and and the white one the new white one seems to it's a little bit brighter white so I'll probably go with the new black color it's supposed to be a deeper black and that's probably what I'm going to do um and I'm going to get the pro model I'll get the one tbyte or the 512 whichever I can grab at the time uh and that's one of my GRS with this phone I wasn't able to get the the bigger um uh memory option at the time because they just kept selling out so um but nonetheless another thing that I want to point out is airpods now I have earbuds out the yinyang I have some great these are just the ones that I'm currently using they're just sitting here uh on my desk so you seen my video on on the barl and Wilkins these are the some of the best earphones my goodness these things are good I mean they are great like for real for real and these are really good and these are good too but Apple has the I airpod 4S and they want you to pay $50 for active noise cancelling are they serious I just think that's a joke to Consumers cuz you can get active noise cancelling headphones for the price of the ones that they're not selling the active noise canc it's a $50 jump they wanton 180 for active noise cancelling or then 129 or something like that or 130 for the the nonactive I just think that's a joke it's a joke and that's just something that Apple would do I I don't know if any company that makes you pay for active noise cancelling nonetheless none of the airpods won't compete with any of these on the table I'm pretty sure because my airpod Pros that I have they're really good but they're just right in in line with these two they're right in line with these two these are superior not because they cost more they're just better quality and they cost more so the airpods thing was a joke to me I I thought that was funny that they want you to pay for they want you to pay for active noise cancelling on the airpod fours I that airpods 4 I just I just think that's a joke now as far as the watches go here's my Apple watch Ultra 2 it's inside of a little protector case but this is an air this isn't Ultra Watch 2 and I'm I'm not buying the new Ultra I mean it's no point in doing that they changed the color and they can say that they added the black color on they can say that there's so many upgrades and all these different things but folks it's the same watch it's the same watch same watch different day same thing with the Apple watch 10 they said oh it even has a bigger screen than the um the ultra by a little bit I was thinking okay um the Apple watch 10 lighter thinner um bigger screen I was just like yeah okay it sounds good uh but some of the things that Apple does the way they try to pull this off they keep saying this is our best one yet and technically they're not wrong but cuz they're just comparing themselves to themselves so anyone can outdo themselves like I will venture to say that this is the best Samsung watch ever made this thing is a monster you're easily going to get two and a half three days without even trying so I say with this talk about the ultra 2 this new color and the the new watch and the airpods and those airpods Max just a joke they didn't even make any changes to those they're just selling new colors um it's up to you to determine what you think is great about this event but I went in with the purpose of looking for this particular phone in the Next Generation and I'm going to get it it's your man Jay hope you guys enjoyed what do
