It's just like, you know, Scar in The Lion King. We wanted to be Scar. We wanted to play
that character. It was so fun! You're my muffin.
You're my muffin. - You're my pumpkin pie.
- Oh my God! You are my muffin. It's so funny. I was so devastated here. And you're... Gurleen was so sweet to me. I was losing my @#$%. I was like, get the F up. If Gurleen wasn't on my team,
I would have been out in like three. Gurleen was just there for us. Every time she's like,
take a breath, calm down. And she really kept
the trains on the track It's just, it's too bad
we didn't get that finale. Kevin, Gurleen, by a matter of mere minutes. You are the last
team to arrive. I had this moment when
we were leaving the museum, where I was like,
I think we're done. I don't know. Like I just felt something in my heart. And then when we
got to the mat. It was just... it was horrible. But also, you know, there was a sense of relief. It was really hard to take. - It was really hard.
- I was devastated for a while But now that it's
subsided, you know, I think the universe wanted
to keep my ego in check. I won Big Brother. They're like,
no, no, no, no, no, we can't give this kid two.
That would just be too much. Kevin and Gurleen, you have been U-Turned
by your fellow racers. Damn. We've always been
a little bit outcasts. We've been a little bit lone wolves, a little bit
different our lives. And that's okay. Like, we didn't really jive
with the group and we caused a lot of waves. But our self-love is not based off
the acceptance of others. When people watch us,
I hope they, take away Be bold, be outspoken,
be willing to take up space and be seen and heard. You know, I'm a middle child.
I'm daughter of immigrants. So I really like overcame
my own fears. And I hope other people
who watch us, they're like, oh, wow, like, what an inspiration. You can do hard things. We watch the show year
after year. And it was missing
a competitive edge. All the teams are working
together. All the teams are helping
each other out and it's like, where is the
where's the feelings? We were asking ourselves
this for years Okay. growing
up. I love the villains. They're my favorite
characters. So to go and live
that on a TV show, it was really, really fun. We had a really good time
with it. So when we knew that
when we saw an opportunity to, help a team
and potentially build an alliance
that could get us ahead in the next leg, that was an opportunity
we were going to take. but then you see me, you know,
in the haggis challenge, I was like, no, we're not going
to help the twins because the twins
were winning. The twins have, such a high average
and so were, Mike and Tyson. So, no, of course
we're not going to help them. But, you know, the audience obviously
thinks a certain way, but but that's okay. The truth is that we genuinely
just didn't want to help certain teams
because they're a competitive. And we wanted to help certain teams
because if we joined together, we could maybe
propel ourselves ahead of a strong team like
the twins or Mike and Tyson. we've done, we've done a bunch of shows and like I did
Big Brother ten years ago and I was such an insecure
person, I needed that, I needed to be loved
by the audience or whatever. But now like we're both in our 30s,
we're so confidence like, no, let's go get hate. It looks like it was death
by a thousand cuts and that's what it felt like. It was just any,
every turn we took, you know, we just couldn't
get to the mat. We couldn't
get to the mat, and. Yeah. And the at the end, that's
just the way it went. And it's okay. Yeah. So like, we
we did everything we wanted. We lived our this life.
We caused drama. We played hard. We were on the passports. We want to live like our bingo
card is scratched off. It's okay
that the win is going to go to a different deserving team. And yeah, and it's just it's
just the way the pieces are. We're okay with that. Yeah. I think we really just feel, so blessed
and proud of ourselves to have gone as far as we did. And I think for me,
most importantly, we were able to tell our story
and we were able to like, you know, go on this crazy
adventure together and learn about each other
and fast track, you know,
certain things that couples maybe don't get to learn,
2 or 3 years down the line. So I think that that to me
is like a prize on its own. And and sure, winning would have been great,
but I really have, I have to have peace in my heart with how we played
and how the story unfolded. And, you know, at least the last episode
was all about us. And the next episode,
whatever. It's great. Yeah. Like I, I deal with game
theory and optimal strategy. So, for example, let's say
you gave a game to a computer, it'll like, spit out an output
on how to play it optimally. I love it. I'm such a nerd like that and so like to try
to push it to the limits. And that was a great example.
And I watched these shows. People show up people to do
A, B, C, D or you know what I mean. Why not like try to hack it
or figure out the system or whatever and that
that just gets me going. That's my nerdy brain. And,
we love strategy games. And yeah, it is fun to try to to try to solve
these little problems. And I struggle with a bunch
of challenges as well. But we
got through some pretty fast. It's so fun. yeah.
Yeah. Classic arcade. I can never cheat.
And there's clear rules or whatever,
but there's strategy. There's like some cool
strategy to use it. It's like in monopoly
if someone lands on your space and you pay rent,
that's a game mechanic. Like I respect it. Like we were
right on their tail. We probably would have won that leg
if they didn't pass us. So as soon as they did
that I was like that was the right play
and we can make it work. Sell tickets for the game
if you want the leg. We were literally going
to win. We could have
totally passed them, but every time we did it,
we were viewed as the bad guys. There was a bit of a double
standard that I think some of our cast
mates have to like, look in the mirror
a little bit, about 100%. Yeah,
that was really unfortunate.
The tools you need to
