The son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson,
Chet Hanks, flaunted his smooth, young skin on Thursday night as he left
the Steak 48 restaurant in Beverly Hills. The 33-year-old artist looked
fresh-faced as he waited for the valet to bring his car over after supper
with a companion at the expensive steakhouse. Chet looked rested and rejuvenated after
recently sharing a peek into his self-care regimen, which he disclosed includes Botox
injections to repair his face wrinkles. He wore a $1,550 black Prada button-down, matching pants, diamond stud earrings,
and a large silver watch for the event. The actor, who has battled addiction
since he was 16, appeared to be inhaling from a vaping device during his most
recent sighting. He is currently sober. Only a few days ago, he posted a
picture of himself with two female estheticians from Beverly Hills Aesthetic
Medics. This is his most recent snapshot. He said, "Just got my forehead
blasted with Botox," as the picture's description. "Come to Beverly Hills;
#NoShameInMyGame; they'll get you right." In two seductive photos that he posted
to social media, the reality star also flaunted the outcomes of his cosmetic procedure.
Chet has been transparent over the years on the extent of his previous drug addiction and
the effects it had on his well-known parents. When talking about his previous cocaine
addiction on Bradley Martyn's Raw Talk, Chet compared himself to Tony Montana,
the Scarface role played by Al Pacino. 'I'm a f**king cokehead, straight up,' the
actor declared. Not anymore, but cocaine is my preferred drug, man, just like Tony Montana!
""I know this dude's a f**king cokehead, but I want a little bump," you say to yourself.
"I would go do coke with the cokeheads, and they would be like, 'Yo, calm, bro. Hold
on a moment. Allow it to sit for around fifteen minutes. I was obsessed with that s**t.
After nearly two years of sobriety, Hanks describes his previous addiction as
"terrible." It consumes away. You just kind of wither away from lack of food and sleep.
Hanks and Wilson are well-known for organizing an intervention for their adolescent son;
Chet had previously disclosed that, in 2008, they had taken their son to a "wilderness
camp" to assist with his drug problems when he was still a high school student.
"I had been a really good, innocent kid my whole life," Chet continued, adding that he
felt no ill will towards his parents for making the dramatic decision. After that, I just suddenly
took that step and leapt one day, and I was like, "What the f**k? Where has my child gone?"
using cannabis, drinking alcohol, and acting foolishly. Although it was normal,
the sudden change raised some red flags. After using crack to feed his addiction,
he enrolled himself into a rehab facility in 2015. He celebrated one year
of sobriety in September of 2022. The choice was unchangeable. I will never return
to that. At all. This is only the start. He had written, "Today could be the day that transforms
your life forever," as the caption for his photo. Chet has talked before about his
heroin addiction, which he said he has been fighting since he was sixteen.
I began battling substance misuse when I was sixteen years old. In 2014, he posted
on Instagram, "I finally decided to get some help at the age of 24."
Before entering rehab, he said in a different set of tapes that
he was consuming crack and selling Coke. A few months ago, I was selling and doing
coke until my nose got so blocked that I was unable to even snort it up my nose.
I used to smoke crack too,' he admitted. The musician feels that his public lifestyle
and his inability to 'fit in' and follow in the footsteps of his well-known father are
the main causes of his addiction issues. Following his admission to treatment, Chet's
twice-award winning father disclosed in an Entertainment Tonight interview that he
helped his son 'every step of the way.' Chet said on the Ivan Paychecks podcast last
year that, in 2008, his mother Rita and father Tom had sent him to a "wilderness camp" to
assist him deal with his addiction problems when he was still a high school student.
He had told the story of how, when he had awakened up that morning, men had gathered around
his bed, ready to take him to the camp in Utah. Bald heads, you know, like military soldiers
dressed like bouncers? And my reaction is, "What the f***?" How the f*** is this
happening? "You're coming with us? We could do this the easy way or the hard way,"
they said, according to what Chet had said. Due to their celebrity and affluent
background, Chet stated that he felt his parents had been "manipulated the whole
time" and that they had been used as "whales" because they had the "resources to keep"
him at the camp for a "long f***ing time."
