DAY VLOG: Solo Trip + Candle Making + My First NFL Game #solotrip

[Music] Al so I don't let my head I'm [Music] my memories [Music] hey you guys welcome back to another Vlog and if this is your first time stopping by hi welcome my name is nrea and as you guys can tell by the title of this video today is going to be a very very very exciting Vlog okay so I was doing stuff and I was like oh my gosh I've never been to an NFL game why not go you know new year new me try something new and the preseason ticket games y'all were very affordable so I said why not but then I was like do I really want to go to UNFI game by myself y'all I know a lick about football okay I went to college football games and that was really it like I felt like I didn't really need to know how to like understand football I just had to go for the experience and have fun so I ended up inviting my friend while we starting with a whole story time that's crazy so I ended up inviting my friend to come with me for the football game but she couldn't make it so I'm going by myself y'all I'm going by myself but then I said you know what let's double it okay not only are we going to the football game by ourselves but we are going we just saidit y'all I just said let's just make it a whole day trip I have gone to Jacksonville so so so many times I was dating a guy that lived in Jacksonville I got my tattoos in Jacksonville whenever I'm flying home I fly out of Jacksonville I've been to Jacksonville so so so many times so I was like you know what but this isn't nothing to be scared of this is really just a new adventure so today is going to be a nice little day trip to Jacksonville I don't know what I'm doing I'm going to be very honest with you I know that I want to try a restaurant I have a couple lists I have a couple on my list that I found on Tik Tok and then I want to do an activity I don't know exactly what activity I want to do but I just don't what I I just know I want to do something the game is at 7:30 so I know I have plenty of time and gates open at 5:30 I think or something like that so I have plenty of time to really walk around the city explore and you know just have a cute little day and I'm also excited because next week is the last week of Summer officially because the semester starts August 26th so I feel like this is giving it my one last hurah for the summer before I have to really fully enter Work mode so that is the plan for today oh my gosh I'm getting more excited oh so it's it's now 10:37 I don't know what time exactly I want to leave the house because the drive and everything I'mma see if I can leave for 11 okay I got a retwist did my hair I'm already dressed I got my outfit for the football game picked out and I'm just going to do my makeup and then we're going to head on the road already know how makeup takes a just supposed to do this but this gets very messy so if you have Huda Beauty the big one and you know how to you am I supposed to take this out like I don't know help your girl out okay please help broke in Toronto so if I'm sweating I am out of luck but yeah I think it's really cutesy real demure so now I'm just going to pack my little bag that I'm bringing with me so it's my um protect black women bag I got it from I actually won it in a giveaway from sea store I don't know how to pronounce it but yeah I'm taking this bag with me and I'm packing my second outfit is it extra to bring a second outfit I don't know but also look at these glasses that I got from Amazon y'all it's supposed to go with the outfit I don't even know if it goes with outfit for real but it's real cute you can't see it but it's actually Brown like I don't want to put it on because I don't want mess up my makeup also help me girl out again okay because I've been seeing mix reviews on Tik Tok where they say if you put the setting powder on the inner of the glasses it won't mess up your makeup a lot of people are saying oh it didn't work it didn't work but a lot of people like you didn't put enough or you didn't do it right but have you guys tried that and did it actually work for you let me know I might try it today I don't know I was bringing this for accessories not really trying to wear oh do you see the brown now I think you see the brown now I don't know I was bringing this for accessories not really trying to wear but who knows I might end up actually put it on but yeah this was really cute Amazon LinkedIn my storefront I'm also packing my little travel makeup kit it has some setting powder um some edge control anything that I need to kind of like fix up myself throughout the day okay y'all so now here's the Dilemma for this outfit real cutesy real girly but I'm just like I really really want to wear my cdgs because one I know I'm going to be walking a lot and two I'm super clumsy so I'm like sneakers are like safe secure bet for me and it kind of goes with it cuz it's black and it has like the heart as the pop of red so I'm like this could work but then I I could also just go straight forward and just wear my black slippers what do you guys think what do you guys think honestly I really feel like I'm leaning towards the sneakers just for comfortability purposes but I'm like I'm wearing sneakers for the game so I'm like switch it up a little bit cutesy girl yeah I think I'm going to go with the slippers actually and then for my bag I'm going to go with my Ugg Telfer this bag hate to see me coming y'all when I say if I'm wearing black I'm grabbing this like it's it's just it's tired of me for real for real really and truly so this is the day fit real cutesy real simple all right if I say cuty Dem one more time Tik Tok really really is influential but yeah super simple I think this would be cute for just like walking around brunching doing little things this is real simple and you know nice little retwist okay okay this is actually my second style out of my retwist I actually did the barrel twist with buns at the end but then I took out the buttons because I could not sleep at night with it so yeah but any who I got to get on the road it is now 11:14 so let me get on the road and I will see you guys when I'm in Jacksonville okay you guys we are in Jacksonville uh so I found this um candle making bar on Tik Tok which is so stinking cute it actually isn't just candles like you can make fragrance oils and sprays as well but I think I want to make a candle maybe make a candle in a spray because I did this um a couple summers ago with my mom and the fragrance was so I might do that again but I call them in advance because they do take reservations so I was like do I need to make a reservation for just one person and they said no but there is a wait time so I asked them how long is the wait time and it's said they said 20 minutes which was perfect cuz I was literally 20 minutes away I'm about 2 minutes away right now which is why I'm catching you guys up because once I get there and park I got to get out the car but then again they might say 20 and then I get there and they're like um 10 more minutes I can turn right can't I nobody moving I don't like that okay so yeah I'm very very excited um and I think once I do this I'm going to go find somewhere to eat cuz I'm hungry um a little way on the dve I was like should I pull over for some food but I was like nah we have we have somewhere to go and somewhere to be so just catching y'all up on what the plan is for today and the drive wasn't even that bad like the drive to Jacksonville it literally just goes oh my goodness okay you guys they were actually waiting for me so I'm here and it's so so stinky I hope you guys can hear me but super comfy but they gave me this list to figure out what sets I want to do oh my gosh they have so many okay so SCT your favorite set don't worry if they go well together just make a list of the ones you like the candles on the Shelf are Al order oh my gosh they have a set that is basmati rice and baked bread oh my gosh I'm very top all right so to get us started we're just going to pick out some scents that we were really excited about and try to match them all righty what were you thinking like top favorite so vanilla bean for sure okay um I really like the papaya oh this is getting hard how about I bring you vanilla bean and papaya you if you like them together if not we switch one out maybe add so I think I'm going for a fruity but cozy scent go ahead and give that a go how you do that hold it about this far away from you you to get a light squeeze on a soft spot but by holding them together you'll get to smell what they'll smell [Music] like okay I'm liking papaya we can not do vanilla bean okay is there one that you're thinking you want to try obviously it'll go really well with the other fruit smells right I'm a fruity girl so that's why a lot of fruits were there but I wanted something that's fruity but also good for the winter since we're coming up on the winter okay give me one second I think I I can pick it up later so like I said earlier I was hungry so I went on that list from Tik Tok and found it's called Rio yeah Rio Restaurant and Lounge on Tik Tok they hyped it up okay they had rosta pasta they had oxil pasta they had basically some food with a touch of Caribbean so I was like this might be the spot for me so of course I'm going to get me a little drinkie drink it's not going to be me if I don't get me a little drinkie drink because the drinks looked really nice too I don't remember if they said it was strong or not but the drinks looked really nice so that is where I am right now and I'm just going to spend this time here I'm debating whether or not I want to change and then go back to the candle place or go back to the candle oh oh my goodness I also you guys when I tell you I go out by myself and people are so so so nice the girl that was helping me she was checking on me like every like are you okay do you need anything everything good you need I'm like girl I'm good but she was so so sweet and then I was telling them that I found them like let me turn this down I don't know how loud that is I was telling them that I found them on Tik Tok and I drove from Tallahassee and then the owner gave me a discount I was like y'all are so nice but I'm like this is a business y'all you are very sweet so I'mma just give that money right back to you so I went ahead and bought a brown sugar scrub their packaging is really kind of cute I'm not even going to lie to you you probably can't see cuz the white let me see if I could yeah the white is not going to let you see it but this one is the basil Paloma they had another one I don't know but this when I was smelling it on it was it was giving like Spa so I went and got a brown scrub because I was also like I needed to get a body scrub anyway so I was like I'm here they have it so why not so that was really cute really sweet of them but yeah so I think I was trying to say if I wanted to change I don't remember what I was saying but I know my stomach is uh my stomach is telling me to get up so let me hurry up and get some food in my system Vibes on Vibes I'm freaking dite iow your cond light you and I met this guy we kicked off we chilled a little bit it was a cool time two days later he went back home to Jacksonville because he was only there for graduation week and I think his sister graduated or something that's what he was up there for why did I just see that man in the in the restaurant that I was in you want to know how he found me because I this is what I posted on Instagram I literally hold on I posted this on Instagram and next to you know a man was coming next to me I said who are you and I was like I know you but that's crazy because that wasn't even the guy that I was talking about earlier when I said I dated somebody in Jacksonville oh baby I have lived anywh who the restaurant and lounge shut down I'm not I'm joking it didn't shut down it closed for the rest of the day I think they reopened back up at 6:00 but I said baby I pay for this drink I'mma get this drink okay and I just want to say shout out to that bartender because they didn't have a drink menu and I was like girl can you just make me something she made me a watermelon lemon drop 10 out of 10 and then she made me this drink it's like Blackberry something I don't know what it is but it's so good like you do not taste the liquor 10 out of 10 10 I had to tip her well because I was like girl you did that so I am a bit tipsy so I'm going to wait till I Sil up and it's going to be a while because I'm definitely going to finish this drink but yeah I'm going wait till I'm so up and then I'mma change and then I'm going to go pick up my candle and then head to the game which I'm very excited about so yeah that that is the update for today wow today has been a day but I'm having so so so much fun oh my goodness okay y this is outfit number two plain white shirt y'all this shirt the quality of this shirt is so good I'm just mad because I got the wrong size I got a medium instead of a small so there's like a lot of extra space this is how I wanted the shirt to fit and as you can tell a lot of extra space but I'm okay with it you know it's very stretchy very very soft love the shirt and then I got these parachute pants these are the whole entire fit is from Amazon except for my shoes but these y'all love these love these love the I think they're perfect for winter not winter but more so fall because they're lightweight but they're still cargo like I have pockets here Pockets here and it's just super super light weight I love that so much and then my mochas so very calm very chill very let me listen I don't know what they put in that demure very cutesy very mindful sound but it is stuck in my head but yeah it is now 5:05 So the plan is to go pick up my candle and then head to the game I found um this spot that they said that people could park their car and then grab a shuttle to the stadium I don't know if I'm going to do that because it's just giving not organized so we're going to figure it out we're going to see I might do that because it's $10 and $10 for parking is amazing but we'll see if any if push comes to sh I'll probably just get a uber but I also know that it's going to be expensive so we're just going to figure it out but yeah let's go and then that doesn't have pedestrian walking and then they blocked off streets so I was like where am I going where am I going the maps were showing me different things and I was like what the heck but we finally made it thank God your girl is tired oh thank God for water but y'all I got a nice little candle that was fun making the bartender the people there were nice I went to my first ever NFL game like today was such a good day and I can't believe that I was nervous about this y'all one thing about me I'm going to get up and go but this today it really proved to me that there's really no limits to what I can do like if I want to do it I'mma do it so honestly if you were ever nervous or ever thinking about doing things solo this is your sign girl go and do that thing that you want to do don't let not having somebody come with you stop you because you're just preventing yourself from having fun so that was my little Spiel and as you guys can tell this is the end of the Vlog I want
