TV hosts torch pro-Kamala moderators in biased presidential debate

good day I'm Paul Murray this is the beautiful and wonderful Persian princess known as Rita panah here we are in my man cave to watch the Harris Trump debate now I don't think it can go better than last time that was impactful little thing wasn't it yes and I think today it's going to be very similar Vibes the pressure is on her we all know what Donald Trump is I don't think he's going to Delight or disappoint people too much we already have our formed opinions on him she's the one who has to prove herself this is it how much word salad is she going to serve up uh how many times will she say change and future and dreams and together because she's trying to make herself that candidate but the New York Times poll showed like 60% of people say wrong track and 55% of people say that Trump is the change candidate so let's watch the debate the ABC News presidential debate here now David M and Lindsay Davis come on good evening I'm David M and thank you for joining us for tonight's ABC News presidential debate by the way uh David mu is sort of their 6 PM news guy uh the other lady she was one of those reporters who uh Trump was questioned by with the black journalists conference or something she is Dei de she even writes children's books about Dei he goes out slow she's going over to Har Harris he knows who you are welc to you both it's wonderful to have so he immediately looks Alpha great good evening we are looking forward to I think it's good that he did not invade her portion of the stage I think he was very deliberate about that because he would have been attacked for that is the economy and the cost of living in this country her hair's on point Trump were elected four years ago and your opponent on the stage find some posi his supporters are you better off than you were four years ago when it comes to the economy do you believe Americans are better off than they were four years ago so I was raised as a middle class kid and I am actually to do with the question on stage who has a plan that is about lifting up the middle class this is the whatever happens answer I'm going to go with this she's obviously being wrot learning a lot of script cuz they cannot afford for her to not be saying precisely what others have written for her when she goes into her own head that's where the problems begin but also if the fundamental question is are you better off than you were 4 years ago that's a yes or no question to begin with correct right so she's going to okay I get what she wants to talk about tomorrow but she's part of the team that has co-piloted the plane into the mountain and look at Trump going here we go here we go I'm ready to crack in here my mother raised my sister and me but there was a woman who helped raise us we call her our second mother she was a small business owner I love our small businesses my plan is to did you just hear that when she just said I was raised by uh my family and then uh we had another woman who was a small everything he says she needs to keep that up for every time he's talking because she doesn't know what 30 second 15c grab they're going to use on the Nightly News and for the person who actually watches this entire debate or even watches 30 minutes 40 minutes of it that gets grating real quick that gets disrespectful and stupid especially when someone's saying something fairly uh straightforward and you just like you're thinking what's wrong with you why are you doing this but that super passive aggressive way of not actually arguing with you but just dismissing you and again I I know that the team blue team left wants her to to put him away 30% of people want to learn more about her what they learned through that that's it is some of the Char some of the what she must be like behind the focusing on what we need to do to support America's Workforce so that we don't end up having the on the short end of the stick watch this watch this this this is the bias bit do they couples who pray and and and and dream of having a family are being denied IVF treatment oh this is another lie this is another he say he wants free IVF he wants more IVF cuz he wants more babies I have been a leader on fertilization IVF and the other thing that's going to become a line I've been a leader in fertilization ask ask ask many women many women I've been the best um that's quite a good line for sort of a Tinder profile leader in I'm a leader in fertilization just ask me the seventh month the eighth month the ninth month and probably oh hang on hang on I thought the mics were we know it's an issue that's important to Republic I've got to say Democrat Dave has equipped himself well thus far compared with uh the the unhinged one on the panel who has prosecuted transnational criminal organizations for murder not for crossing the border yeah you were you were G what you oh for God's sake that the United States Congress including some of the most conser she said she doesn't think illegal immigrant IM is a crime Crossing is not a crime she has defended people who pay people Smugglers to bring them across the border she has offered free health care for them that bill would it's not only the the the way the questions are framed it's not only the questions they're emphasizing it's not just the fact checking that's happening factchecking in One Direction whilst they ignore blatant lies from the other side this entire catastrophe of a debate is such a wasted opportunity because we know Trump has wanting has pushed with three debates the Harris camp are unlikely to accept another one this was it this was our chance of these these two up against each other and these biased moderators have destroyed any chance of us getting a fair Dinkum uh contest of ideas I mean really yeah he said because you need Trump back as president they were afraid of him China was afraid this the world is all laughing at Donald Trump no the world was afraid of Donald Trump which is why nothing happened in the Middle East nothing happened Russia didn't go into Ukraine Iran wasn't uh funding October 7 didn't have China ramping up aggression in the region this is this is much stronger is something to to be gained by him just being measured and not allowing her to continuously go him or not he needs to attack the moderators that's what he hasn't done he needs to do that he needs to put on the record that I've stood here for an hour I've watched what you've done you've given her you know you didn't correct this you didn't correct that you tempted to correct this the president at try to appeal to that middle ground and then once she's in power the real Cala emerges 100% he lost manufacturing jobs and I'm also of pandemic because your Governors closed down factories again where is the fact check from the moderators on that where is it well actually there were there was there was this stay home orders there were fact hitting the world but they're making it seem like he was doing all right and then he just flipped the table and let's not forget the rats all said Trump was Reckless and not going far enough as far as closing down the economy because he wanted things to get back to normal way quicker than some of the medical experts were recommending Here Again David mure and Lindsey Davis who are biased welcome back tonight the time has come for closing statements and vice president Harris I would like to say these two retire at the end of this tonight two very proud Visions for our country no you that is focused on the future and the other that is focused on the past oh and an attempt to take us backward come on but we're not going back and I do believe that's the line from thec we're not going back CU that just really produced that big pole surge didn't it a new way forward and a vision a new way forward what different from the 12 of the last 16 years aspirations the dreams the hopes the ambition dreams Ambitions hopes they're all the same thing pretty gone up it was 9% inflation is real every time I go to Vegas I lose more each time each every time I tell you inflation I think there needs to be a bloody inquiry to have they set that rate of goods they use because I intend to be a president for all Americans except the ones who don't vote for you who you think are racist sexist yeah the ones who who actually Pine for a better time she's been there for three and a half years they've had three and a half years to fix the Border they've had three and a half years to create jobs and all the things we talk fantastic why this is this is the but when you've got a role as a moderator it is absolutely essential that you behave fairly that you are unbiased that you treat both candidates the same that is not what's happened not even close they didn't even pretend Paul not even pretend they look this debate was all about Trump's the problem Harris is the solution and they gave her an opportunity to basically make that point over and over again every question was from that perspective every lie that she says they don't pick up so frustrating frustrating well thank goodness that is over and not because I think Trump did a bad job but the moderation was appalling right the hosts were awful awful it was it was the story of the day really you didn't think so I thought it was either going to be an emphatic Camala or Trump Victory but it seems like the manner in which the debate was held has become the story in a large way yeah look it feels to me that look the media's going to turn around and say um he took the bait he was too angry he fell for her you know 4D chest trap I think normal people watching this all right we know where the hardcores are right if you're you super Maga you got enough hits in if you're somebody who thinks that he's the devil you saw you know him being held to account if you're somebody sitting going who do I want to hang out with for the next four years you saw I don't think that Harris actually passed the liability test I don't think that she passed the leader test she didn't look like a president she looked like an excellent debater against Donald Trump but whether that transfers into do I think you can run the world for the next four years whereas Trump yes you might find him too cranky sometimes however pretty strong pretty obviously can walk into any room in the world where we know she takes a week of prep to be able to walk into any room a TV studio right it's been about a month of prep into that it wasn't a week um I think she very successfully hid a great deal of her personality if you've watched her debate debates previously when she was debating other Democrats uh uh just very unlikable jarring shrill at times but often just uh annoying an annoying quality and I didn't see that as much tonight it seems like she stripped that back there was that passive aggressiveness the the the looking over the very deliberate uh disdainful look that was again rehearsed everything you saw to out tonight from her was rehearsed rehearsed rehearsed rehearsed but that doesn't mean it's not effect effective and I think a lot of it was effective um in um just calming people who are unsure about her I think people who are a little bit more politically engaged would have seen through a lot of that BS but if you're a low information voter and I think her sweet spot don't think people are going to be determining their vote based on one debate so I'm not too worried about that there were a few moments that that stood out and you've got to also remember most people aren't going to watch the whole thing like we we did we were forced to taking one for the team they're going to see little sound bites that are going to be selected by the media and again as I said trust in the media record lows so the impact of that is going to be somewhat muted I think anything he does he going to be cast as a villain was that his best performance no was it a terrible performance absolutely not absolutely not also never forget uh of the six uh debates that's his seventh he's lost the polls all by one the snap poll soore of that if we spend the next week talking
