my nyc apartment tour! + international student @columbia :)

finally doing our apartment tour video I'm so excited to show you guys this place I really worked hard in designing it putting it together making it aesthetic I really put a lot of effort into this place honestly because I don't know what it is about me but I just need things to be aesthetically pleasing or else I just I just can't you know um but yeah all the stuff I got for this apartment is super budget friendly I'm going to put all the links um for all the Furniture I bought in the description below in case you guys want to check them out let's get into the apartment tour and just for a little context I added in a little video clip of what the apartment looks like completely empty this was actually the day I moved in and this is a little video clip of the final apartment reveal completely furnished literally everything in the apartment and for the living room I ended up getting this bar table from Ikea that came with two stools and honestly I love it so much it can be used as a standing desk as well as a little dining table and I love the convenience of it and as far as the uh living room itself with the couch and the TV I really wanted to create like this little cozy living room kind of vibe even though it's a studio and I ended up ordering a Fire TV from Amazon and it was really cheap I think it was like between 200 and 300 bucks and this little white white dresser from a local furniture store which was also around $200 um I got some plants as well for the window sill um the airon as well I got from Amazon and it was really cheap actually it was only like $250 or something like that with some picture frames and fairy lights and yeah I just kind of filled up the apartment with little aesthetic um kind of pieces just to make it more cozy and just well furnished this couch I got from Amazon as well and I ended up having to kind of assemble it um with one of my friends I got both my mirrors from teu and once again guys I'm putting all the links to all the furniture in the description below um this cute little bath mat was also from Amazon and I ended up buying this bed frame from Ikea as well so I ended up hiring um a person from task rabbit to help me build the bed frame as well as the bar table he was honestly so fantastic and so helpful I definitely cannot build these two things on my own um and the mirrors were all from teu the fairy lights were also from Amazon um and as far as that little side table beside the bed I ended up ordering it from Amazon and as far as the bathroom I also ordered everything from Amazon everything that I bought from Amazon was so so good the quality was great pricing was great um I got this little foldable laundry basket these blue shower curtains that I was so obsessed with and overall I was really happy with the overall turnout of the bathroom um the sizing of it luckily it also came with a bathtub and I got this little shower KY thing from Amazon as well I feel like I bought everything from Amazon to be honest um because there wasn't enough space to kind of put soap and shampoo on the side so I just ended up ordering one of these shower caddies overall I was pretty happy with the way the bathroom turned out I also built this little kind of shelf thingy beside the sink well technically my friend and I built it she did most of the work because I'm terrible at building I don't know what it is but I am just so bad at building Furniture I just can't do it I also got that little white plus chair from teu along with the mirrors and it is so comfortable I'm really really really happy with it and a little electric fan as well from Amazon just in case you know just on those days when it just kind of hot New York does get hot so I feel like having an electric fan is just so so so helpful and this apartment had two closets honestly I don't even have that much stuff like the second closet is actually empty at the moment um it really just has boxes and empty suitcases there's not really much in there I think I'm probably going to fill this up with winter clothes and coats and jackets and all that kind of stuff for winter but as of now it's completely empty and finally this is the kitchen well technically it's more of a kitchen that because it's so tiny but I got all of my stuff from TJ Maxx and HomeGoods um except the toaster actually I ordered that from Amazon as well as was the rice cooker um I ended up having to get another fridge from Amazon so I have two tiny fridges because one was just too small to fit everything so that was our official apartment tour I really hope
