even more so than a potential rematch against the vice president and Donald Trump which by the way if you haven't seen it yet we did a video about this yesterday Donald Trump has officially said that there will be no rematch against the vice president so traumatizes he from the first experience but even more than that I was an anticipating I was I was eagerly awaiting triumphant liberal commentator Jessica tarov being able to confront Jesse Waters Janine Piro Dana Pino and Greg Gutfeld about their cult leaders disastrous performance and see if she could burst the bubble as they struggled to cope with how terribly he did and she handed out some pretty brutal fact checks as they struggled to cope with that fact and it seemed like they she they were successfully humbled it seemed like they tipped their hat and conceded that this was was not Donald Trump's best night but we're going to start with some good fact checks from Jessica tarov and go from there we're not underestimating anything it it's this the same thing and I don't think that you can see any evidence of it in how we're approaching the mechanics of the election or even how cautious kamla Harris is being if she thought that this was a slam dunk situation she'd be going absolutely everywhere and laughing in everyone's face and saying oh you're going to you think people are going to vote for that buffoon that guy who says I have concepts of that guy who it gets so mad because she mentioned people leaving his rallies that he spent the next hour and 15 minutes with smoke coming out of his head that's what she would be doing if we were arrogant about this nothing is being taken for granted and to the point about the Michigan undecided voters or the lack of undecided voters there were a number of focus groups after the debate Washington Post had 24 people 22 of them said KLA Harris was the one who won the debate CNN had similar margins and we had a snap Pole from CNN snap hole from here at Fox with huge margins for her winning does that translate to KLA Harris is going to be the next president I don't know but it means she had a very good night go ahead so again the fact that they didn't interrupt in Heckle means that they recognize they're so outmatched on the facts it's not even worth attempting so the cope that they were trying to deal with is well listen just be you know a debate doesn't make or break an election now when it goes well for Trump they think it does and they hype it up in that way but when it goes disastrously for Trump as Tuesday night did well it was just a debate okay and Donald Trump's support is set in stone and indeed it is I don't think it's possible for Donald Trump to have a debate performance so disastrous that it would cost him support I genuinely believe that he could quite literally step out on the stage and have a Mitch McConnell mini stroke you know the Donal Mitch McConnell had a medical episode multiple times in public on camera in 2023 Donald Trump could have that I mean he is certainly in the throws of cognitive decline he's certainly wildly stupid and incoherent and prone to non sequitors but he could just have a Mitch McConnell tier medical episode he could have a stroke on stage and I don't think it would cost him a single vote if Donald Trump has one Talent it is again recognizing what animates his base not what persuades the majority of Americans because he's never been able to do that but what animates his base he said famously during his first presidential election that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue in New York and not lose a single vote that was very much the case and the evidence has consistently borne that out over the years on a variety of issues more people in the Republican Party trust Donald Trump than religious leaders than other political leaders than family members and friends we talked about that in a video just a few months ago was a staggering poll I mean to to believe that you could trust any political leader more than your family members and friends let alone a pathological liar like Donald Trump it's staggering we've seen Donald Trump warp Republican perceptions about things like presidential immunity where even though a majority of Americans think that presidential immunity is absurd if you pull Republicans and change president or president Trump like specifically talk about Trump himself support for presidential immunity skyrockets because they're so cultish devoted to him they're happy to put him above the Constitution let alone the polling among Republicans about the 2020 election because of his lies so I have no doubt that this hasn't moved the needle at all with respect to Trump's supporters however Independents moderates as Jessica tarlo points out the early results are staggering not just the Washington Post not just CNN not just the these various flash Poes and focus groups but also Fox News Right Fox is a propaganda network with respect to you know in the sense that it puts thumb on the the scales for conservatives and Republicans but certain like it's polling apparatus has always been there are reputable pollster they're an A+ pollster and I've said that even when they have Trump ahead and their focus groups their pollsters have vice president Harris decisively dominating Trump in the post debate polls it's not a matter of you know was was this a toss up was this basically a 50-50 debate it was absolutely not it was pure cope coming from uh mag Republicans and from some Fox propagandist but to be clear the Republicans enjoy so many institutional advantages it's entirely possible even now for Donald Trump to win the election and listen they don't want to admit this because they pretended it was it that the whole thing was in the bag but when President Biden had his disastrous performance and um you know the polls were taken afterwards it was still within the margin of error yes the polls were brutal for Biden but he was still within the margin of error in both States in head-to-head against Trump but the trajectory was such that Democrats were self-aware to recognize that there was a problem and so pressure was applied on the president to get him to step down or to withdraw his candidacy there's no such self-reflection in the democ or the Republican party as a matter of fact you know we talked about this in a video yesterday Bill O'Reilly and so many other Trump supporting Republicans said Trump needs to scramble for a third debate he needs to eagerly seek out a third debate he needs to take the vice president up on her offer of a third debate so he can redeem himself after the second debate but that would require self-awareness Trump would have to say I screwed up that debate terribly and the polls reflect that the polls are valid I have to course correct and then he would engage again in a superhuman Act of self-awareness realize that his true nature his personality is insufficient to win a debate or the presidency and he would adjust accordingly and go in for a third debate much better prepared instead what he did is say to hell with it I'm not having any debate whatsoever so it's just it's so fascinating the the jux deposition between the two parties I've got another clip here of Jess karov um and uh and Jesse Waters in particular because she roast him a couple of times as well as Janine pi and I do want to get to that but it's so funny because even after that debate Jessica star was Hey listen I'm not saying that we have this in the back yes we have a polling Advantage generally head-to-head and swing States certainly after the debate we have a fundraising Advantage all these things are true but Donald Trump has defied expectations before and he could win the selection so again just the the hubris which exudes from the Republican party this unearned hubris is staggering to me they've learned nothing you since 2020 just staggering so now let's get to an even funner clip and this is uh Jesse Waters even though he is smug and arrogant kind of eating on air some Humble Pie as best he can and a pretty fun back and forth between him and Janine pero against Jessica tarov you're but I feel great about this election the last debate was a knockout so I think people thought Trump could just knock this woman out again and be like okay Off to the Races he didn't there was no knockout so now everyone's like okay it's going to be competitive we're going to have to work for it but the fundamentals are still in our favor every single Battleground is either tied or he's up. five or she's up0 five but if you go in tied with Donald Trump y he's going to win and they know that and anybody smart that knows that too I'm a little annoyed now that they have more offices in Wisconsin this is new information and now I'm remembering it's not no information to people paying attention Okay well I'm not in the Battlegrounds Jessica and and if I was I'd be doing a lot better job than the Trump campaign they had to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on lawyers because you guys were arresting him and Prosecuting him on BS charges if that money was better spent then this would be a 49 State Landslide Victory which I'm not predicting at all because I learned my lesson with the Red Wave I knew it I knew it Jessica you know comma numbers now are lower than Hillary's were in 2016 and lower than Biden's were in 2020 and you still think you know that uh this that we're under we could win yeah sure we're underdogs that could win uh to Jesse's point about the law fair I don't think that the voters are happy that Donald Trump is using their campaign contributions to fund his uh his legal team I don't know about that I think the voters yeah the voters recognize that it's the weaponization that Merck Garland said it wasn't but go ahead course all the grand juries we oh yeah whizzed up in I've been in charge of grand juries I know Grand jurries I know grand juries I've dated Grand jurries okay so pretty funny response of course the Department of Justice justice has not been weaponized President Biden's department of justice has investigated President Biden appointed special counsel to investigate him and released a politically damaging report President Biden's Department of Justice investigated prosecuted and successfully got convicted President Biden's only living son Hunter Biden President Biden's justice department has prosecuted sitting Democrats in an election year Bob Menendez an incumbent Democratic senator from New Jersey Henry quar an incumbent Democratic Congressman there have been at least as many Democrats prosecuted under the Administration as there are Republicans and of course we have the reports that attorney general Garland bent over backwards to accommodate Donald Trump during his various prosecutions because he wanted to avoid the appearance of impropriety and the appearance of a politicized justice department so he negotiated with uh Donald Trump for more than a year or about a year to return National Defense information and classified documents that Trump was not permitted to have bent over backwards gave him more rope than anybody meanwhile holding Democrats to an even stricter standard no rope whatsoever so listen it's obvious nonsense coming from uh jine Piro and Jesse Waters and yes Jessica karov is correct the polls show um that uh Republicans who have donated to Trump's uh campaign uh they have been there have been I shouldn't say polls there have been reports of trump donors who have been displeased uh when they find out that the RNC is paying Trump's legal bills even though Trump is is a billionaire so he should be able to foot the bill himself using their donations that is true um but also don't get it twisted that was some Humble Pie being eaten on air by Jessica excuse me by Jesse Waters saying that the debate was not a knockout that Trump did not uh live up to expectations that he recognizes the election's going to be competitive that he's not predicting a landslide Victory because he was humbled by the experiences of the 2022 midterm which he thought would be a red wave and were in fact not so if you read very carefully here again somebody as smug as Jesse Waters who is not prone to publicly panicking the way that some others are he's nervous he's uncomfortable and the fact that he admitted that on air is something that Jessica tarov should take enormous Delight in and in the meantime you let me know what you think in the comments
