what you got you got them there lining up they got to go against the backto back champions that's right back to back who am I talking about we're talking about they got to get in there they got to battle out against the Las Vegas Aces that's right it's MVP Showtime here we go MVP Showtime you got them backto back champions they're going to come on in and they're coming in down there in the Indiana going to take it to the field house it's time to play and let me tell you what you got folks you got a barn burner going to kick and this is the bunny Mike syndicated Radio podcast we're powered up by Fanatics and folks we got something we're going to bring to you and I'm telling you it's heating up in the kitchen it's heating up in the kitchen and let me tell you why it's heating up in the kitchen the Indiana Fever they got to play this thing they got to play it out it's an MVP Showdown you got Caitlyn Clark going to go against Asia Wilson okay and the Las Vegas Aces you got Christy s's going to battle up in there and she's going to have to go against Becky Hammond okay and you got to come up with a strategy uh to beat the Las Vegas Aces now it's a rarity that the uh league has done it this way they figure fever have gotten back-to- back games against the Las Vegas Aces I know others think well that's not fair no that's not the case the fever have already played the aces okay and they played him down in Las Vegas and guess what the aces have beat him both times now today you're facing the fever and what you got is you got something a little bit different the Indiana Fever are a better team and their record speaks for itself they're willing to go out there and play basketball and they're willing to do it the right way they have a lineup that they feel can match the Las Vegas Aces so what does that mean you got Lex Hall you got Caitlyn Clark and you got Kelsey Mitchell okay so you got three guards that can match up with the Las Vegas Aces and they're coming into your house okay playoff atmosphere basketball in the WNBA there's no doubt about it and when you talk about the great coaches that have went in there and Becky Hammond of what she's done folks you can never take away backto back championships and that's just what I mean sometimes you got to give give them the credit where the credit is due and uh the big news is you know they got Asia Wilson and we've been tracking this and I've been waiting on this because what do you got you got an MVP Showdown MVP Showdown right in front of you now what else do you got you got AJ Wilson who uh has injured an ankle and apparently may or may not play uh that probably can go down to a game time decision when you get something like that well let's be honest who's trying to win the game and who's not because this is going to be a back-to-back but let me tell you what you got here folks this thing can turn into a five game series because if you get it going correctly this thing can turn into the Las Vegas Aces that's right the Las Vegas Aces backto back champions guess what they could do they could face the Indiana Fever okay coming right out the gate and that means you could face them in a playoff game and if you happen to face them in a playoff game what does that say that means you got to go to their house and do it again two more times so this does it mean something absolutely it means something because you got to set the tone and when you got to set the tone and you're dealing with the player that is as good as this player that they got to do and I'm not going to sugarcoat okay you look at AIA Wilson AJ Wilson's good ball player dong good ball player one of the best players in the league but I'm not going to take that away I'm going to say why not okay you got somebody who claims I am MVP that's right I am the MVP okay so you got you got to know that uh when somebody is claiming that and it's Asia Wilson okay and what she has done and how she has done it I mean she's a big time player there's no doubt about it I mean that you look at it and you have to say to yourself okay Asia Wilson's a big time player right so you got somebody who's going to come in there and they're a big time player and uh basically but what does that mean does that mean the player's the best in the game does that mean the players going to lead that means the player scores the most points what does that actually mean when it comes back to kayln Clark and the Anana fever because the Indiana Fever got more guns than they had when the season first started that and that that to me I mean that's a big that's a big statement right there okay the Indiana Fever got more guns than when they first started okay because when the season started you were beaten up on the Indiana Fever you weren't talking as much about Caitlin Clark okay so you got Caitlyn Clark in there and Caitlyn Clark's leading the way and when you got guard is going to lead the way for you things happen things happen in the way they're supposed to happen things happen how they should happen and you got a coach Christy side just got to walk through the door and Christy Sid got to say I am Christy sides okay and what do I mean by that what is Money Mike mean as to a WNBA coach or uh NBA coach doesn't matter I think the League's the league and that and that's what it is is when you walk through the door you walk in that Arena you're coming to my house Becky Hammond you're coming to my house Becky Hammond and let me explain one thing for you I know who you are and I know what your capab capabilities are there 's no doubt about it I mean that's simple math right when you get to when you're dealing with the aces cu the aces man I'm going tell you they walk about it they talk about it and they say a lot of different things you got to know they do because that's just the ases okay like you're saying there's Tom Brady because you're back to back and the aces are Mark Davis okay and that's an NFL owner okay Tom Brady's part owner of it so you got a championship in the Rings you put them all together the Raiders rings you put everybody these rings together you got a lot of rings floating around down there in Las Vegas and that's a fact folk that's a fact what do I mean you got the Oakland Raiders that won the super bowls and they hold championships at legendary Al Davis Mark Davis's son I've always going to speak highly Chico State of Lama Chico State myself so you're going to put it in perspective but then you're going to get to Brady Brady's won a whole lot he's won so much that uh he's broadcasting now now hit a little snag because they're like you can't come in our building when you're a part owner of the Raiders but what did Mark do Mark says these women need more money they've won for me I'm going to win for them okay so this organization is built since they landed in Las Vegas on winning that's right winning now what does that mean they want to go back to back to back okay and what what is Money Mike saying is you could take a little tiny Pebble let it start rolling down the hill by times it gets down to the river in the tributor okay that gets to the ocean there's going to be a boulder that's going to land in the ocean okay this what I mean is a two game backto back which is perfect because by the time you roll to the playoffs if the seeds St the same three and six you could run against the aces two games down in Las Vegas and then you come back for the big one that you're going to win and close them out okay or they can go down there and close them out right away just depends on where the injuries are and how you're going to do it well what do the fever got to do to stop that okay and I'll give it to you 411 it won't take me long okay you got a three-headed monster in the post you got Tim a back bignet okay you got Leah Boston you got NAA Smith okay they got to run at it and they got to stay in front of AEL Wilson they just got to stay in front of her okay CU every time there's no use to trying to jump and not use a fundamental close out they got to recognize that and push the ball out of her hand okay she may not be healthy to go so you you got to just understand you're going to fall back in the three-headed monster of the guards okay cuz you got Kelsey Plum you got you know a a a and when when when you get there and when you look at Plum she she's she's a great player you got Chelsea Gray great player okay then you got Jackie young right so you got uh Mitchell you got Clark and you got Lexi Hall got their hands pull up right from the gate if the game gets back and it gets all the way down the haze then you and hay start performing you really got your hands full cuz that's what's going to happen because you got the the fever got to have bench players that come off the bench Timmy can give you the spark we got we got samuelson's got to do it Kat's got to get going and you got Wheeler's got to pick the pace up pick the pace means you got to play faster okay you got to get in the sets because if you come in there I call it Tempo but if you come in there and you substitute for Caitlin you're getting 3 four minutes we can't lose a beat we got to keep the same pace that's why you got Christy sides has got to make a decision do when when I take Caitlyn out of the game do I run Kelsey Mitchell at the one wheeler at the two you got to push it over and then Dantes has got to make down shot she's not afraid to do that but we got to step in front of Asia Wilson on the downhill Drive everybody in the WNBA either you don't like sweat or you're afraid of her but you got to step in there the Indiana Fever are built for this okay they can score 100 now we got to see if the Las Vegas Aces can score 100 cuz that's really what you're talking about and when you get to talking like that and you're talking about the Indiana Fever and you get right to it I I I'll tell you the song and dance needs to happen and that's going to come through ni Smith and you got to play basketball as the Indiana Fever do because they love the game the way the game's meant to be played they're good at what they do the organizations's been around long enough that you know what you just got to believe that you're the Champs and that's where the Indiana Fever have built this thing up to and you can never take that away from the fever the fever have done what they're supposed to do uh they have put it in perspective that they can win and they can win big and when you put it in there they don't win as a team I I'll be the first to tell you they do not win as an individual excuse me they win as a team and they when they win as a team they can just about beat anybody okay but what do they got to do they got to play their game and if they play their game good things will happen I can guarantee you that and you know you're not going to get any better okay than what you've already put on the table today and that and that's the Indiana Fever I mean there's no doubt I mean they put Caitlyn Clark out there you're talking about somebody that you may look at has had a historic rookie season hasn't been done breaking records delivering time and time and time again and when you get something like Kate that can do those kind of things is just a Flatout Superstar corporate Enterprise dream dream uh just to be able to run and do and be able to play and put it on the court and that's the key Caitlyn puts it on the court you don't have to worry about Clark of what she's going to do night in and night out she's a basketball Junkie she loves the game wants to play the game and really appreciates the game and she's lifted up her teammates you're going against the backto back Champion the Las Vegas Aces I don't say that lightly to put it I call it an MVP Showdown why do I call it an MVP Showdown because guess what you got the Champs who think they can't be beat you know they made a statement I kind of chuckled that a little bit earlier it was really talking about them that they were grown women and that uh for sure you got something that it can't be done as far as who they are and what they can do but they looked at the Indiana Fever and Caitlyn Clark is basically nobody but they are somebody you got Becky Hammond said she's going to take time to get to grow in this league but the time is up we know about Brady that's a champion and that'll Always Be A Champion there's nothing greater the aces are back to back and they're shining but guess what the shine has got to come off and now it's the Indiana Fever time they're moving to a different scope a different direction Indiana Fever are looking to go go and win the WNBA Championship that's the name of the game this is we must take in consideration and say that there's a new sheriff in town there's a new sheriff in the uh NFL that's Jim Harbaugh no doubt about it and now uh Chrissy sides has not got to compliment or say that's a great team she got to say that our team can win a championship and that's the words that I'm looking to here and the Indiana Fever have to believe it they can't back down from the aces they got to play them they got to beat them and they got to move on they got a two game set that's right a backto back home and home and uh the next two things that can turn into a five game set because if they stay seated the playoffs could be the Indiana Fever versus the Las Vegas Aces so all things are possible to those who believe and that's where I'm at but uh we looked at it as we're game next year as well it's going to be in Indiana so let's see if they can make a stand this is a good test going to let them know where they are they played the Minnesota links uh played them 80 minutes couldn't overcome that and now they're going to play okay no doubt about it they're going to play Las Vegas Aces for 80 minutes and let's see how the Indiana Fever land I'm saying they're going to have to play better basketball this is where it comes down Chrissy side you're going to have to get get in there and you're going to have to take and do scratch and fight and Claw that's right Christy side you got to take grit scratch craw do what you have to do to win the game because that's what the Indiana Fever need to do you need to win games at home which is important get the confidence you meet the aces in the playoffs you can repeat the story it's a bully against the uh Underdog or some may call it David against Goliath or as Asia Wilson says we are grown women and uh
