I mean the main thing about playing Outdoors is the conditions really pretty windy up there hopefully it doesn't rain I was going to move to Brighton once and I'm going find a place that I [Music] liked I just passing coming up the front there remember we did a little tiny I think we might have played the zap Club Oasis back in the early days and I don't come here often but you know it's very impressive hopefully it doesn't rain my crew anyway most of them I'd say 70 to 80% of them have worked for me for a long time because I've done it before it makes me appreciate what they do and I make sure I look after them as best I can I also when they're taking the piss so everybody knows what everybody's like and knows the what their character and all that kind of thing and um you couldn't I've been on many many tours where it's been made by other people in the bands and they're just not enjoying themselves and I've been on tours which are great you know so like I say rehearsing is the key to everything once and there comes a point in rehearsal you'll be rehearsing for two weeks or you know things will be awful like Dreadful and then there's a point where it turns and then it's just just like a it's just like starting an engine in a car and there you go so the only thing that will be on my mind leading up to this is the wind is blowing right onto the stage and how's that going to sound and how's my air going to look while the photographers are in the pit you know I could look like the wild man of Borio if there's a wrong gust of wind you know I may look quite crazy but the gig side of it it's going to be fine you know yeah it's going to be fine not [Music] my towards the end of Oasis you were always stepping into the unknown and uh it was like well is this gig going to finish now I you you put a band together and all the people around you and you know it's cool I don't I don't get nervous at [Music] all it never it it never really it never really changes do you know what I mean it gets bit different here and there but age is the is is the main thing but if I if I ever got to the end like towards the end of a tour and I thought this is then I wouldn't go on the next tour do you know what I mean but every time I've come off tour for the last 30 years I've always been enthusiastic enough to want to make another record and just and just do it again everybody's different everybody perceives what they do not just in my band in any band differently you know and I I fully accept that people do get bored and restless and Twitchy and want change it up every night and all that that's not the way I work you know you live and die by whatever thing you conjure up in rehearsals and then and then just you know let it do its thing I like it to just be second nature on stage so I'm not even thinking about it everything should be like on autopilot when you get on the road because you I want to enjoy it when I get out on the road I don't want to be around every gig you know this is not right or that's not right want to nail it all in rehearsals and then when I get out on the road it's just like a stack dude you should just flow and let it enjoy yourself what it's funny though and people who are not in bands they they I was talk on on phone you go oh probably till 2024 and they always go you working a office you know what are you offing me for you what I mean it's like it's the best gig in the world you know it's these things what you make maybe I just to fly I to don't to die maybe I just to breathe maybe I just don't believe but maybe you're the same as [Music] me I don't feel that I have to be larger than life it's like people are a to see me they know who I am they know what I'm like you know there's nobody better on this beach today than being me and that's it you know and that's what you pay for that's what you [Music] [Applause] [Music] get you all the [Applause] [Music] [Applause] best I heard you [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] say [Music] thank you very much you're amazing thank you have a great week [Applause] tonight radio X
