Intro [Music] yes people welcome to footy fans tv i hope everyone's doing well my name is kyrie and i'm sammy and today we're going to talk to you about the premier league it's this weekend the games are back the teams are back we're all excited we're going to run through the teams very quickly so this is an episode that we're going to do every single week and it's great for anyone that has a fantasy premier league team they want to know which players are in which players are out i'll caveat this by saying that all of this is pretty much subject to transfers happening players getting injured people testing positive for kovid so we're going to do our best to film this as late as possible before the weekend game so that we have the most up-to-date information but we're going Fulham vs Arsenal to start with saturday's 12 30 kickoff which is full-on against arsenal and we're going to run through the team very very quickly so first of all starting with the home side to the best of our knowledge and how we think fulham are going to set up in goal we'll have rudek and starting from the left back position to the right back position so we'll go left to right for the teams we've got brian rheem hector and adoye so it's a flat back four then in the middle of the park we've got two holding midfielders is how we think they're gonna set up so it's gonna be kenny and anguisa then you'll have a line in front of them of the three attacking players so it will be again from left to right reed anoma and cabano and then at the top as a lone striker is mitrovic so obviously he had an outstanding season in the championship scored crazy amount of goals um so no surprise there on that side and then for the arsenal team so there was an update today that david lewis has a neck injury we did think that he was going to start to begin with but obviously it doesn't look like that's going to happen anymore so it looks like arsenal are going to do the three central defenders more than likely it's going to be tierney sally bar and then it depends whether gabrielle gets a start or not i'm thinking he might put him in there he's been forced to do that or it could be someone like rob holding if arteta doesn't feel that gabriel's got the match fitness and then the wing back so you'll have sakura and then on the other side baird in most likely in the middle of the park joe willock and granit xhaka and then across the top normal lineup that we've seen with one new addition so it's going to be aubameyang [Music] and willian so thoughts on that game obviously big game for both sides for different reasons what are you thinking about that one also only need to hit the ground running they need to win do it as quick as possible come in first game they're playing against an opponent that just came up it's about making a statement get a win get it out of the way and get ready for the season yeah i would agree i can't see anything else apart from an arsenal win for that one probably something like two nil maybe a fulham sneaker gold i would like for them to hold them but i don't think it will happen no i can't see it happen in ebar all right we'll move on to the next game so we've got crystal palace here versus southampton and so now we're going through all of the three o'clock kickoffs palace very similar to the team that they finished the end of last season with they haven't really been any major uh transfer activity at the club so in goal we've got greta in the left back position again mitchell going across you're going to have dan kiate and then ward is most likely what it's going to set up as so flat back four and then four in the midfield schlopp macarthur voyevich townsend and then the two up top zaha and jordan ayu so on paper it looks like a 4-4-2 but we know that palace can switch that around play different formations sometimes have zaha come out wide maybe play iu by himself see how that one pans out and then going to the southampton side so they have had some activity in the window let's see how that figures but what we're thinking is mccarthy and goal did really well for them last season for the saints and then bertrand bednarek stephens and walker peters who they signed on a permanent from spurs and then in the midfield it looks like it's going to be a 2-2-2 so you'll have wood prowess and romeo right at the bottom and then armstrong and redman and then adams and ings up top so ings had a phenomenal finish to the season at the end of last season i think if he can keep fit he'll be a really good prospect for southampton but what are your thoughts on that one zaha surprised to see him at the club after all the speculations and words and newspapers i've been seeing i thought he would get a move he's not he's with the team i think he's going to do big things this season let's wait and see so i think from my side in terms of predictions i would say that i might give home advantage there to palace and say that they might just edge it out i've seen iu's playing world pre-season so maybe a one-nil palace maybe a draw i want to try and be fair to southampton could be a one one or two two something like that is what i'm thinking inks can do the business yeah no definitely definitely what what are your predictions on that one i see a draw or i see crystal palace i think crystal palace might edgy i think they can do it so moving on to Liverpool vs Leeds United the next one this is a scary one so liverpool against leeds leads new boys into the league did very well last season in the championship but they're playing the champions and the champions by a long shot we're not talking about a closely contested premier league last year so normal liverpool side that we've seen lining up here allison in goal robertson at left back van dyke and gomez in the center back positions and then trent in the right back position when nalden if he's still there and he hasn't left to go to barcelona fabinho and they're skipper henderson and then up top it's the normal three the three that we all know and love that did so well for them last season so many firmino and salah and then for leeds they've got ms leo in goal left back douglas cooper island and dallas going across the back four one holding phillips in the center of midfield then another four harrison klisch hernandez and hell decosta and bamford up top now i know that they have signed rodrigo yeah but he may be lacking in match fitness which is why i think bamford might start but it's going to be between bamford and rodrigo i don't think they broke their club record to bring him in and not play him on adventure apologies to any leeds united fans i wish i wasn't gonna say this but i really can't see anything apart from a liverpool thrashing them three four nil i don't agree i don't agree i see i see leads with the manager they have they can nick it i think they'll be the West Ham vs Newcastle United elsa i think they can be the surprise of this this league this easy thing that they will be liverpool i think they'll get a result i think they'll get a result so we move on west ham against newcastle united two teams that let's be honest last season didn't do that well struggled a bit but newcastle had some pretty good activity in the window i've been very impressed with the business that they've done i think they've strengthened their squad in a number of areas so let's start with the um west ham team so in goal fabianski left back cresswell ogbonner diop and johnson so flat back four again then the two holding declan rice and suck three in front of them fornells noble and bowen and then their main man up top mikael antonio so uh four two three one he always seems to get something for them and get a result for them and score goals and win games when when no one expects them to i know there's also a lot of pressure on the management to to do things in west ham but you know that's somewhat separate topic so then getting on to newcastle united in goal darlow from the left-back position lascelles fernandez and craft two holders john joe shelby and isaac hayden and then the three across some maximum alma ron and richie and then callum wilson will probably get the start up top great exciting they do have some players out so the bravka galen what i think gail's a long-term doubt so for any of you that might have him in your fantasy league team you might want to think about switching him out but again for me i think that newcastle already a good team not to say that west ham are not but for me that's a newcastle win that's an away win for newcastle on the road i know west ham is a difficult place to go to but i think there's too much turmoil in the club at the moment and that weighs on the player's mind so i'm thinking a a one-nil to newcastle maybe a draw i find it difficult with antonio whoever he plays he's just this non-league league player he does things that you don't see in the league yeah he's just he puts an ear or a shoulder or he speed his power i really like him i really like him i think newcastle could get a draw or a win away that's saturday's games West Brom vs Leicester City then we move on to sunday so first game of the day we've got a two o'clock kickoff and it's west bromwich albion against leicester so again west bromwich albion have been in the premier league but this time around newly promoted club so the way that we have them lining up in goal johnstone gibbs at the left back position bartley ajayi o'shea two holders livermore and sawyer three in front of them graciki matthias pereira and phillips and then up top hal robson kanu they haven't made a ton of signings the window hasn't closed yet i don't really see them bringing in a lot of players i don't think it's going to be a walk over for having said that they've got the goal machine in their squad so starting from the back for leicester schmeichel in goal always a solid pair of hands thomas saiyan chew morgan and justin thomas may or may not start it could be castanya who they've signed but if he's struggling for match fitness they may not play him um so let's see what happens there and then indeedy as the holder so it's a four one four one barnes on the left side pratt tilemons and jose perez and of course as we all know jamie vardy up top he's the person that keeps on bringing the goals for leicester city the team generally look really good um some people may say oh james madison james madison is actually a doubt for that game on the weekend which is why he's not in the starting lineup but typically you would expect to see madison in that squad what are you thinking for that game vardy all day long he's winning the game they're winning the game i don't see anything else but leicester win yeah they're a tough opponent west brom but leicester has this definitely yeah i have to agree with you there for me it's a leicester win west brom just come up difficult place to go to defensive side play defensive football but i do think that leicester especially if we think about how well they started last season they fell off a bit towards the end for me that's leicester's game a two nil three one something like that um in fact if i'm being honest i might see them struggle to concede a goal um which is a little bit unfair to west brom but two nil three nil you never know you never know yeah you never could no all right Tottenham Hotspur vs Everton next game of the day tottenham hotspurs so goalkeeper they're skipper hugo lauries left back position davies aldeviro daya and aurier for now surprised a little bit surprised could be doherty could be docherty i'm more surprised about dire because he's going to be playing in this new center-back position it's very clear that jose mourinho is a fan he sees him in this center-back position as opposed to the holding midfield position but i also think that he has some options in that holding midfield role hoyubio musa sisoko winks other players that can play there um so with that in mind two holders so four at the back two holders hoiberg and harry winks and then um sony dele alli and lucas mora and the main man harry kane up top and then we get to the everton side so made a bunch of signings in the transfer window there every someone yeah they're basically uh they're basically the the chelsea of the north um so in goal jordan pickford deanie holgate keane and coleman at the back alan and andre gomez in the holding positions richarlison sigurdsson and walcott three across the top and then calvert lewin in front of them personally i would be surprised if hamed james rodriguez doesn't feature and i also think that abdullah de kore should feature in that team as well i don't think they spent that money on those players to have them sit on the bench and i actually think that they're better than the players that they already have in their respective positions um i think this is going to be a tough one especially if we see some of the players that ever have signed but i think that spurs are going to win it they're playing at home in front of their i was going to say their home crowd but there's no crowd but they're playing at home i think that this is going to be a spurs win everton's side probably still adjusting to all of the transfers that have happened i can see a one nil two nil two one something like that but i think this is a this is a ton of hospitals win for me i apologize for the spurs fans but i think everton can do it really i'm actually every season i look at the team they have the plays they go out and bring in and i find it shocking that they don't finish 10th above 10th 9th 8th i don't think is good enough for them i think they need to come out for this game with the signings that they've had this summer they need to hit the ground running they have to beat them it's going to be difficult with sun aldino and all those players but you have to do it you have to they have to win for me to start their season off well they have to at least get a draw it's going to be tough but they can do it i see a draw win everton let's see what happens yeah of course Monday Night Football with the restart of the premier league comes a restart of monday night football so i'm looking forward to seeing my guy jamie caster can you give me an sheffield united good team like them let's see what they do this season so uh ramsdell in goal back three three centre-backs o'connell egan and basham and then they've got the wing back stevens and baldock three in the middle fleck norwood and sanderberg and the two up top mcgoldrick and mcburney we then go to wolverhampton wanderers who i believe have still got some players to come in i'm hearing some whispers about players from portugal that they're bringing in obviously nuna spirito santa has that connection i don't think they're going to bring anyone in that's going to play this weekend at this point in time but point is that there's some transfers that will happen into the club so again for your fantasy premier league team just think about those transfers and what you want to do bringing in certain wolves players in goal rui patricio back three says cody and willy wolly um and then the wing backs ish ruben vinagra and triore adama treyore two in the middle ruben neves and gian moutinho and then a three across the top diego yota rao jimenez and perdence what are you thinking about this one it's going to be a tough one i would like to see wolves i was very surprised with sheffield last season they did really good for a team that was promoted wolves are i think they're a step ahead i think they've got this definitely yeah yeah i'm in agreement with you i think this is going to be a wolves win they went from strength to strength last season so i can see a wolves win here as well so last game of the opening weekend brandon hove albion against chelsea i wore this borisia dortmund top because apparently if you're a player from borussia dortmund and you have an english passport you're worth 120 million euros so if chelsea want to come in i'm free i'm available ready to start whenever you guys want you know even 100 million euros i'm there i'm there if they want to make Brighton vs Chelsea it happen i'll make it happen um but let's go to the squad so um first of all starting off with brighton matt ryan in goal who's been their rock back four burn dunk web star and lampty who they signed from chelsea in the january transfer window we see um if this is his debut season how well he gets on and then we've got two two two so holding to bisuma and stevens um aleister and then alexis mcallister sorry lallana and up top then we get to the chelsea squad so for now kepa's in goal i know they're very close to signing mendy from i don't think it's going to be in time for him to start monday night football let's see what happens stranger things have happened but you've got um chill well who i think might start rudigar zuma and azpilicueta now if it's not that back four the only difference that i can see is as finique are playing on the left and james playing on the right and then three in midfield mason mount angola kante ross barkley and up top werner giroux ziesh again because of the number of signings that chelsea have made there could be a variation here and it could be pulisic whatever formation whoever's playing i can't see anything apart from a chelsea win here what are your thoughts i think this is gonna be a two nil three nil four nil it could be embarrassing mate i'm surprised they're not lining up ronaldo uh figo sedan and the t the players they got in this this summer is just ridiculous it feels like there's gonna be i think they're gonna have a lot of issues this season because they can't play everyone right i do believe that with all due respect to the chelsea fans and you know what you guys like but giroud starting doesn't look right to me with the names around him and the players around him he does the business i understand he sometimes turns up when others are a bit asleep he's not gonna he's
