It's the best night of the week during the best time of the year. Welcome to W FAA high school game night. Guys growing up in Texas going to high school in Texas. I've always understood what it means to say that Texas high school football just means more. I lived it, but I also lived several Friday nights where the games and necessarily live up to all the hype surrounding them during the week. That wasn't the case tonight as you will tell us. And just our game of the week featured a top 10 Texas ranked show down there in Fort Worth. But meanwhile, here in Mansfield, we got district play underway and that is where we start tonight. Mansfield Timberwolves, excuse me, Timberwolves and the Eagles opening 35, a division two district play all defense in the first half, Dylan Dan with the sack on the Guire Gasper and the teams are scoreless after two quarters, but this second half offenses finally came alive four minutes to go in the third Watson bell breaks. The deadlock puts Argo on the board with a nine yard touchdown run. But you know, Tim review is going to come back. They led 14 to 10 with three minutes to go. Once again. Defense stole the show, Malik Bracy with the pick off of Anthony de Santo and the six, he runs it back to seal the game and the win for the Eagles 24 to 14 over to Dragon Stadium. It's construction night as South Lake Carol hosts trophy club, Byron Nelson Bobcats get on the board first. Tucker James pounds it in from six yards out. Byron Nelson jumped out to a seven nothing lead but the Dragons offense rolling early Angelo Renda out to Davis Penn. He sneaks inside the pylon for the eight yard touchdown. We're all tied seven apiece next offensive possession. Carroll strikes again. Riley warmly finds the sea throws a stiff arm and he's gone 35 yards to the house. The Dragons run away with it 33 to 21 another district opener in 66. A Plano senior host in mckinney Wildcats down seven in the second quarter on 1/4. Sergio Barros takes it in for the four yard touchdown, 13 straight points but the Wildcats up 13 to 7 but the Lions would answer back. Jeremiah Dowd to Christian mcintosh, a pretty play for the 23 yard touchdown. The Lions lead 21 to 13 at half time. They would hang on to win a close 1, 2826 mckinney. We don't go anywhere.
