what is this game like for you being on the opposite side of Jaden Daniels I mean it's the same football game I guess just we're on a different team what has it been like between you guys this week are you guys in constant contact are you guys talking to each other you guys shut it down this week uh I mean the relationship is still a brotherly relationship so what we do what our job is what our job is what we got a relationship off the field what did you take out what did you take out of Sunday's game for yourself personally uh just another day to go out there and show what I can do I mean what did you I'm saying what did you maybe learn out of the game you just played yeah yeah uh I mean it's a lot of a lot of things to work on um a lot of things to get better at um continue to strive for you know greatness and just keep the week on going what makes you a quarterback um he's a smart quarterback a great team leader um I mean you know his running ability is great on tent is crazy so um I'm excited to see what he does this week I think jadden said he had talked to you earlier this week what are you guys kind of talking about what the discussion um I mean you know we talk about the game um just talk about you know just football but like I said we got a relationship off the field so it's like we going we going to talk smack when we play on the field but you know on off the field is a brotherly relationship any your defensive teammates come up to you and ask for you know inside information on him of course yeah they all I mean that's something that you know you got to share when you're going against you know your old team teammate but you know anyways to get the win yeah as the coaching staff oh no not the coaching staff no M can you appreciate how you guys helped each other get to where you are like maybe if he's not as good as he is you're not here and if you're not as good as he is he's not the second pick can you guys appreciate how much you helped each other oh yeah for sure you know without him I probably you know probably wouldn't be here right now so um having that guy as my quarterback you know it took a lot of stress off me um so I took a lot of stress off him too getting open but you know we had a we had a different space right now but you know it's still the same game how eager are you to you know have a deep ball like they can play downfield we saw it all summer obviously not in the first um I'm excited just to have the ball in my hands any way possible I can get it I mean if it's a deep ball it's a deep Ball but you know I'm I'm whatever ways to give me the balls I'm I'm happy for it how much you learning to be patient I'm sure you probably want the ball in your hands all the time I know giant fans probably want the ball in your hands all the time how do you handle that the flow of the game and I mean it's not that it's not that you really handle it no way I mean the game is game is not going to always go how I want it to go um you know if I can have the ball in my hand 20 times I would like that but you know how many times the ball get thrown my way I can't you know I can't can't tell can't tell you how many times I'm get the ball this game so you know it's the game is the game how did how did the practice go today I mean it went great you know got to move around a lot um you know it was a good good day you got are you seeing signs of progress on the practice field this week from what you saw something I mean every day I practice you're always going to have progress yeah I mean but you can't wait until the you got to wait into game there to see how you actually you know how you play you know every day in practice going to look good you're going against SC team plays going to look good but it all matters to when you playing you know another team what were you most satisfied with with what you did last Sunday in your in your first round um I didn't Flinch I mean I I kept running every route um got open um made some great catches made some great plays um and showed you know my my teammates my quarterback and the coaches that they can trust me what were the things conversely that that you would would have wanted to do better that you work on [Music] um probably blocking more uh probably understanding my assignment more yeah I was just say you've talked so much about your competitiveness I guess how did you process kind your first unfl loss and the way your team was be um I mean it took a took a few days but you know this this is the National Football League you're going to lose you're never going to have a undefeated season like you got in college but so you always going to lose game but it's just how you bounce back the next week you know how you face adversity what have you seeing from the commander secondary on film um they got a great secondary you know they got a lot of key factors in their defense that they like to put out on the field um but you know we're going to continue to do what we do have you uh gone up to Dave and say you want me to call the first play no no I'm going let Dave S all that
