SWOOPES Is OUT of Announcing Caitlin Clark Game, but Whose Decision Was It Really? 🤨

[Music] welcome to another basketball edition of the Adrien Ross show and this will be a quick one because we going live we're going live in a little while for the Indiana Fever versus Dallas Wings game but listen I come out of church and I'm hearing the news I'm hearing some news we said that we were waiting to see how these Cheryl swoops would handle having to announce the game in which Caitlyn Clark is playing remember she's not trying to mention Caitlyn Clark's name anymore so it was going to be rather interesting to see that but I come out to church and I find out that that's not happening at all that Cheryl swoops will not be calling that game and so let's take a look at this article here from Athlon Sports the article says fever Wings TV bro gets shake up amid Cheryl swoops Caitlyn Clark drama okay so Cheryl swoops disdain for Indiana Fever rookie kayln Clark should say may have landed her in a bit of hot water the wmba legend has been highly critical of the 22y old point guard all season long actually stuff has started even B before the season but then recently she drew the eye of several fans on social media after seemingly defending Chicago Chico Sky guard Diamond the shields Diamond the shields you guys know I did a video yesterday she's the one that I guess decided to take Kennedy Carter's place since Kennedy Carter was out and just straight up ran into Caitlyn Clark then tried to be Hollywood she tried to use uh Kennedy Carter's nickname Hollywood and try to play it off like you know everything was okay like she wanted to pick her up off the floor and shaking her head on the sideline all that okay you get it so anyway she seemingly defended her after that hard foul from behind knocking CCE to the floor and so now it it says it seems SW seems swoops anti Clark stands caused her to be removed from Sunday's broadcast of the fever Dallas Wings matchup uh in which you know she was supposed to serve as an analyst and now uh Nancy libran will be uh the young lady not so young Nancy liberman but a legend herself who will be part of the team calling the game Ron thulan and Nancy liberman so um somebody comments looked like a little smart alec comment on Twitter uh about her about her um you know calling the game can't wait basically talking about silence and hatred and and all that and so she responded not today Satan so I think that was Cheryl sw's way of of saying I'm not going to engage in that but so you know what I'm hearing and what I'm reading here seems to suggest that um that the wings that she's not calling the Wings game and you know as a WNBA decision uh you know that's what people seem to think now I'm gonna give you my take on that I don't know what happened I don't know why she's not calling the game maybe it was a WNBA decision because remember she's been you know talking some stuff and then she didn't say nothing when she could have said something she she didn't mention Clark who balled out and said she wanted in the Seattle game and said she wanted to talk about Lexi Hall you want to talk about Kelsey Mitchell Leah Boston and like Caitlyn Clark didn't exist Stephen A Smith called her out on that she responded and then she was doing another game Wings game and they talked about the players of the week uh the the young the gentleman I keep saying young I don't know how old these people are because I don't know who was calling the game but whoever the guy was calling the game with her he talked about the players of the week usually she come back with some kind of comment she was it was like silence and finally he say something else because you can't just sit there in silence so again what's up I did a video on what I said you think somebody had said to Cheryl swoops keep Caitlyn Clark's name out your mouth because she didn't say anything so now when we thought she was calling a game and we were kind of interested in how that was going to go as it turns out she's not listed as one of the people who's you know calling that game you know I don't know you guys can correct me in the comments if you know that you know that you know because I don't I'm not so certain it was the WNBA who took her off of that I'm I was wouldn't be surprised if if Cheryl swoops wasn't the person who called in sick or said I don't want to do the game I it wouldn't surprise me because you know first of all we're talking about the WNBA making what might be a wise decision when the last time that happened we've been questioning the wnba's decision they don't seem to understand PR and all that kind of stuff and Public Image and those things so you know maybe they grew up overnight and they did make that decision I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised is Cheryl swoops is not just continuing her I'm not speaking on Caitlyn Clark campaign and decided that she's not going to participate if you know otherwise if you know for sure that it was the wnba's decision and not sh su's decision you know let us know in the comments but for now again maybe it was the WNBA but just maybe Cheryl swoops is intent on not discussing Caitlyn Clark at all and said I'm not doing it I don't
