here we go let's go uh saw you guys at the press conference and uh I got a ton of information you guys and uh I did watch a show and it's really awesome thanks appreciate that I'm bottom my heart it's a a lot of components to it that make me like really invest a lot I'm glad toar than we're proud of that very so how is it working with this death he is an amazing leader an amazing person he rattles his team three all of us and can watch us work he to reach the life like not just in real life but also on the show and when he comes in Qui be prepared we have no choice but to step to play and be and and do it do everything we're supposed to do it's been amazing we're actually fre in real life really are true but it's it's he's a master class and I'm so happy to be I'm so grateful doing not take he he didn't pay me any of this and he did not take this job for granted he did not many people take it for granted and you see it when they come to work on him L they're like I'm supposed to be he's not Greatful every single day it's been an incredible experience and I'm surrounded by people who inspire me and Tamba you know right next to me every step of the way on the show and all the rest of the casts are amazing and guest stars and we've been really luying as a first season show to to feel like we're in a Groove and we're in a rhythm and we respect one another and uh and we love working together and it's not always like that it isn't always like that yeah yeah we feel we feel good there's a lot of physicality to your role motorcycling jumping in water yeah put a weird J jumpsuit on or right right well all all of the aspects of the character I play are drawn from the life of of all sacks so he swam in the Hudson River he rode a motorcycle I mean so we're really drawing as inspiration um his life and um his unique and inimitable uh characteristics and qualities and I hope that comes across in the show and I hope that people understand that um this is a real tribute to uh a person who made a significant difference in thousands of and helps people um find a brighter life for up S and I think he found a brighter light for him something so it's been a joy I love how you it's brought light to Oliver like I didn't know who Oliver was until until I knew about the show yeah so we got mad yeah I mean he was a a very well respected and very well-known neurologist he did um you know he wrote a lot he was considered by the New York Times called him the the poet laa of medicine was he wrote about the patients that he worked with so that people could learn from their unique experiences and um it is a real honor to play a character inspired by a person who made such a difference in summoning his lives there's one thing that I noticed about his acting you got like a million different looks you got all these different Expressions but you got all these different like I'm looking in your eyes and you just like you got all these intensities so one of the things when I first booked his job is my friends were texting me saying is he as intense as he willness that is the question that that's me I have to say no he's a damn fool very intense she's amazing she's so she brings such humor such heart such depth and such truth to this character and to the set it's a it's a real joy to work with Tamba and I'm so grateful I've gotten to know her I we get to keep telling this story good 17 more seasons thank you so you thank you so
