oh I think we got to know each other quite well in the first season anything new that I've learned about you is there anything new you've learned about me I think um no secrets between you that's great open book or are there so many secrets [Laughter] that hello hello oh hi hello there how are you both we're great how are you good fine I recognize them old friends yeah sorry sorry go back genu adoring we're so good we're so great great great marel Megan thank you so uh both so much for sharing your time with us today were so delighted to be speaking with you marel for the first time Megan we've spoken with you now uh twice couple times couple times third time third times a charm we are such huge fans of the show especially the Haro foots I think anytime we get to cut back to see what they're up to is always so delightful and we're also just big Dylan Smith fans so we're just oh so are we yeah Canadian Legend he's literally the best the best of the best 100% so we we just want to ask both of you coming back for season 2 What were both of your mindsets coming into this new season versus how you were feeling at the start of season 1 two years ago now my goodness wow season one was a whirlwind wasn't it I mean it's been like five years since season one yeah yeah four and something so like you can imagine I mean we're as the characters are growing up we are also growing up which is such an unusual We're Not Unusual to anyone else who has done like a a series before but for me it's just it's you just kind of it's surreal it's so surreal and so amazing to be a part of yeah so incredible to come back and to yeah I I've also never had the experience of coming back for a season two so to have that to be able to carry on the journey with poppy is so exciting we love that love that that's really great and you know marel be MC's theme for for you your character Nori it's so powerful and such an absolute earworm for us and we get to hear a little bit of it in this season 2 in different Renditions but we got to ask what was your reaction to hearing it for the first time it honestly made me quite emotional when I first heard it because you can't you don't really know how you're going to react and I I don't think I even knew that that was going to be in the in the score so I it really was quite a special really special moment so uh I don't take it for granted I'm so grateful that there's that that exists in the world and it really does sound like her as well like it's exact it sounds like her and it sounds like what uh yeah it sounds kind of like her heartbeat like a real the song of her heart be or wanky better that that not yeah you know what I mean yeah exactly we also love that Poppy and Nory are leaving everything they know behind everyone they love behind the season how do you both think that their relationship is going to be tested with one another this season what can you tell us what can you preview for us of what their relationship's going to go through this season I think what's lovely this season is that they both kind of have their individual Journeys but they're doing it side by side and I think just like with any friendship you sort of do your own thing and then you kind of come together but while you're before you come together there are those moments of where you just kind of miss each other a little I think yeah but what's great about their friendship is that their Foundation runs so deep and it was already like that before season one for everything that you've seen so the love doesn't go away um and that won't be going anywhere but the but their sort of own personal Journeys is yeah is very personal I think you're spending a lot more time together obviously so what isn't that you kind of learned about each other that you didn't know about each other from the previous season oh I think we got to know each other quite well in the first season but what is De is there anything new that I've learned about you is there anything new you've learned about me I think um know no secrets between you that's great it's an open book or are there so many secrets that um no no um I think maybe how much you love London well maybe because what because we're because we're here we're fing here but also like you grew up here and I really feel like there's there's some PR London Pride yeah London I think yeah I've really realized that yeah interesting I don't know I'm going to have to think that's a good I'm going to have to think about that one and get back to yeah no worries no worries next time we get to talk to you both you know we we're definitely that's going to be our first question that's starting with there we go yeah get I want to know yeah I know yeah marel Megan thank you both so much again I wish we had more time but again we're we're such big fans of the series we cannot wait to see where things go this season and we really hope we get to talk to you both again thank you thank you so much love to see you
