welcome to this new video today I am going to present to you the latest robot from mammotion the Yuka 2000 so for those who have followed my various tests of the season you know that this is not the first robot that I have tested from mammotion so I tested the Luba 1 and the Luba 2 which are both wireless robots with RTK system and moreover the Yuka is also part of this range of robots but this one has the advantage of being able to be equipped a very interesting option I will show you this a little later in the video we will start straight away with the unpacking here we go here we have the base of the charging station the user manual the foot of the the RTK antenna the trident for the RTK antenna also everything that is cabling and screws the power supply the RTK antenna replacement blades and screws the antenna the RTA 2000 the other part of the charging station so there you go the unpacking is finished so after having unpacked the robot immediately remember to remove the polystyrene protection which is on the contour so now that the unpacking is finished we will be able to take a tour and the presentations of the robot then this one is equipped with two all-terrain drive wheels with integrated motor then on the front we are on a multidirectional wheel with shock absorber then as for the cutting width we are on a width of 32 cm with an adjustable cutting height of 20 mm to 4 90 mm at the highest it has a mowing output of 350 m² per hour then it is also equipped with a floating deck which therefore makes it possible to guarantee a uniform cutting height and to avoid scalping of the lawn it is equipped with a 270° wide angle bumper at the front and on both sides to provide additional protection al it is equipped with a self-cleaning 3D vision camera is also equipped with a camera which allows vision on the rear of a rain sensor of a figurative panel and the advantage here is that the cutting height is manually adjustable so from 20 mm to 90 then and to finish on the rear we have a handle which will allow us to easily transport the robot so that's it for the visible part of the robot of course there are other non-visible characteristics we will take the tour and the point now then the yuka 2000 is capable of mowing areas maximum up to 2000 m2 and manage up to 20 zones maximum on slopes up to 45% 24° then of course it is possible to manage it using voice commands such as Alexa and Google assistance it is waterproof in batch so IPX6 for the Yuka and IPX7 for the RTK station al noise level it is announced at 60 dB it also has an alarm a lifting and tilt sensor so of course it is a wireless robot with system RTK therefore that is to say that you will not need to install a peripheral wire around the entire contour of the garden of course we will see this in more detail on the installation and the start-up then all at once time I told you that this one had the advantage of being able to be equipped with a very interesting option I will show you right away what it is so yes you are not dreaming it is well equipped with a storage tank collection then of course as I told you earlier this collection bin is not supplied with the robot so it is available as an option so we will look a little closer at what the collection bin is made of then here we have a bin with a capacity of 22 l then and as you can see in the image this collection bin is also equipped with a motorized sweeper so we could say indeed it is very interesting so the collection bin collection with the motorized sweeper on the other hand it risks making me lose autonomy on the robot and well no because mammotion has thought of everything so they provide with the sweeper kit and the collection box an additional battery of 4.5 Ah so like the original battery so you come and put the two batteries inside so I will show you right away how we proceed then what will make it possible to double the capacity of the robot therefore which will not impact its autonomy then as I told you earlier therefore the collection bin capacity of 22 l the width of the sweeper is 34 cm this one is capable to sweep up to 100 different areas and of course it is an automatic emptying sweeper kit so that is to say that it will empty automatically on an area that you have predefined at the time. moving forward so here we are finished with the unboxing and the presentations of the robot so for my part I will go and carry out the various updates and put the robot into charge and we will meet again straight away for the installation and start-up of the robot so there you go so I made the updates and I left the robot charging all night so given that I have already made detailed videos of the assembly and installation of the Luba 2 here it's the same principle so I'm going to do it in an accelerated version so for assembly we will start first by taking the white RTK antenna and screw the small antenna under the bottom then we will pass the cable from the RTK antenna in the black tube we connect the two tubes and then we put the trident at the base we continue immediately with the charging station this one is in two parts so you have the base of the ground and the second part for the return you just have to come and clip the two parts together and then you will have to put three screws under the bottom and finally we connect the RTK antenna to the charging station but you can also use an extension and move the antenna elsewhere if you wish then for the installation of the charging station nothing very complicated you have four screws simply put a screw at each end by screwing with the BTR key which is supplied with then here once the assembly is finished so I decided to install the robot in the same place as the other robots that I have already tested in the past so that will allow me to compare the signal qualities as you know I have already had a lot of problems with the other robots to mow the area between the two houses so here by putting the antenna in the same place so that will allow me to compare so for my part I still don't have brought the power supply here so I used an extension cord so if you ever see a cable passing everywhere during the test it's completely normal so that's it we can now move on to starting the robot so the RTK antenna is open the robot is also green so now all we have to do is create the card so to create the card it's very simple it's using the application because as you can see know it is a wireless robot with RTK system so you do not need a peripheral wire so it is up to us to make it go around the garden and once we have finished the garden outline it automatically creates the card so we will start right away we go to define a card click here to leave so there it is so it's like all the robots that I have already tested until today so on the application you have two joysticks one to move forward and backward and the other to turn left and right so we will come and place the robot on the edge of the lawn so personally I will do as usual so that is to say I I'm going to follow along the paving stones since I made a paving border around the entire contour of the garden so I'm just going to follow the paving stones especially the length so here the robot is in place I'm going to click on Start let's go so as you have seen I have just finished making the outline of the garden so now I just have to click on Finish and there it has created the zone so we can go and see the zone here so there is obviously a zone there so I show you what that gives the zone is created so before starting a test I will have the robot return to the charging station to see if it manages to return to the station on its own then the massif is a little lower than the grass so that also makes it possible to check that it manages to recover correctly despite the fact that the ground is not necessarily very flat so there is no problem for it so now like As usual, I'm going to run a test, that is to say, I'm going to set the height to the maximum, so at 9 cm, and I'm going to run a tone cycle just to see if it does the contours of the sound correctly. garden so by adjusting to the maximum so that allows me to even if the robot exceeds the authorized limit so it switches into the massif which is more beautiful it therefore allows me to avoid damaging the blades so once I have check that the robot contours the garden correctly so without any problem from that moment I will launch a real mowing mode so here we go I launch the test so as you have seen it is a nice surprise because this is the first time that I have a wireless robot with RTK system which manages to do the contour correctly so in the area between the two houses so the LUBA 1 failed the LUBA 2 failed the h3000e failed so good sure I specify using the position of the antenna here I have I have not yet tested the different robots by modifying the position of the antenna but here I really respected the same test as for the other robots so I I placed the antenna in the same place and it's the first person who manages to make the contour of the garden in the area there so now that I'm sure that this one respects the contours of the garden correctly so I will be able to launch a real mowing mode so I set it to 2 cm so given that I stretched yesterday to 22 mm this should only cut the ends and therefore it will also allow me to test for the first time a robot with a collection box so given that it is not going to cut much I should not collect a lot therefore necessarily in the collection box but I will do other tests with it on the higher lawns to see if it -it still works just as well so that's it we're going to launch a real mowing mode so I'll show you at the same time a little bit of the parameters so I've activated mowing obviously I'm going to activate grass collection so interval drain I am going to adjust to the max 100 m² I am discovering at the same time as you the speed I am going to go up to the max mowing mode so as for the LUBA it has different modes so there is no single grid grid grid segment grid so I am going to put on a single grid so that is to say that it will make a pass in one direction then a pass in the other so it will cross the passes path spacing I leave at 20 cm I put it on slow button turn of mowing on the patrol side 3 so that is to say that this one will go around the contour of the garden three times so we move away little by little before starting its grid so me personally I will leave it at three I like that 'he starts by making the outline of the garden and then he starts working on the grid so prohibited zone for the moment there are zero so on this zone I have created no prohibited zone so I ask to de Tourer before mowing so we can also tighten and after doing the contours personally I prefer to start with the contours relative angle zero start the progress so there it then tells me 32 minutes with the fastest speed so here we go there so I I couldn't start mowing since I hadn't created a discharge point for the grass so I created a discharge point in the middle of the field just to test and we'll see so I'm launching straight away mowing at 20 mm so here we go so I just finished mowing at 20 mm with the Yuka so I did a first mow with the grass catcher and I discovered that in fact the robot does not fall all around the unloading area so given that I put the unloading area in the middle of the land the robot made all the contours but it did not therefore mow at middle of the field and he also did not mow between the two houses I think it is due to the size of the bin uh the area is not taken into account I think he does not have enough room to maneuver and so behind I launched a second tent so without the collection box so that this one covers the entirety of the garden so I will start by giving you my opinion on the use of the collection box so I will tell you I will admit that I am rather surprised so as I told you I had stretched yesterday to 22 mm and today I set the robot to 20 mm so it still picked up a lot of waste so you should know that he didn't stretch the entire garden so he didn't stretch the middle area and he didn't stretch between the two houses and he still picked up a lot of waste so at first I was a little skeptical about the use of a collection box on a robot lawn mower but as you can see it is relatively effective so it picked up I think most of the waste so second big positive point for the yuko so it is compared to the others robots that I have already used in the past so it is the only robot that managed to reach between the two houses while having placed the antenna in the same place as the other robots so there really it is a big positive point afterwards will see that I refine a little the settings that he had a tendency to swing a little on the small massif along the wall but he really respected the entire perimeter between the two houses and he worked well mowed inside also so on that very big positive point and and nice surprise then on the other hand there is one point on which I am a little skeptical so it is on it is at the level of the floating tray so normally it allows therefore to avoid scalping the lawn and here conversely I found myself with scalping zones so for me it can only be this floating plate so given that I have already used the shorter 2 wolf that this one so I had set it to 15 mm and I had no problem so be careful about this point especially for people who want to stretch their grass very short so I am well aware that everyone will not stretch your lawn to 20 mm but I would like to point out for people who are going to mow their lawn very short with appropriate maintenance of course so to pay attention to this point perhaps rather go for the Luba range for which I do not I didn't encounter any problems afterwards for all the other people who will raise the cutting height who will turn higher for me there will be no problems on this point so as usual I will continue to test this robot in depth so I am going to test it on terrain much larger and more complicated than mine. I will carry out different tests, particularly on the avoidance of obstacles and so on, which will allow me to give you a complete opinion on this robot, then the video will come out. here a few months so for those interested do not hesitate to subscribe you can also find me on the mutual aid group for a beautiful lawn in which we are already more than 50,000 members and you can also find me on the different networks on this on says see you in a future video Ciao
