A Difficult Draw For Manchester City? | Reacting To The Champions League Draw

which one are you most looking forward to let me know in the comments below so we're going to crack on with this video firstly I want to talk about just how weird that Champions League draw was because having a super computer determine who we're going to face is quite frankly baffle him I don't know why we've all had to sit there for over an hour watching them draw The Bard when a super computers determine who we're going to face why not just do it like the Premier League releaseed the fixture schedules and say at 5:00 p.m. BST 29th of uh August this is when the fixtures are going to be released where we could all go on to the Man City website or the Man City social media and say these are the games that we're going to face to save everybody time they were saying that they've not not done the balls they drawing it like they traditionally do because without using the supercomputer and avoiding the Clash of conflicts of teams from the same country facing each other the draw would end up taking somewhere between 3 to 4 hours so the supercomputer determines everything so I want to know why we all have to waste an hour sitting here watching the draw when they could just work things like how the domestic fixtures are done there we go save everybody a little bit of time and taking a lot of the drama away as Man City first team out of the draw we could have just ended my live stream that I was doing there and then there we go man City's fixtures done and dusted on we go with our lives baffling it's strange Manchester City's opponents then in the Champions League let's speak about them let's start with the four home games that we're going to uh have so man city we were seeded first in the uh pot so was in pot one we're top of the UEFA coefficient rankings so that meant Man City were going to be in pot one uh because of that man city have drawn other pot one teams as well there we go uh We've drawn Inter Milan at home that's going to be our home match for the pot one against pot one sides with the away match against PSG there we go it's Bru and Juventus from pot two uh fod and sporting CP from POP 3 and Sparta Prague and Bratislava from pop four so our home games are going to be against Inter Milan I think that's going to be our most difficult home game uh I'm looking at the home game so Inter Milan from pot one Club Brugge from pot two uh fod from pot three and Sparta Prague from pop four I look at them four home games and I'm thinking automatically home form's going to be crucial in deciding who's going to finish in the top eight of the champions leagues League uh so and they will automatically go through to the last 16 of the champions league and I'm going to presume that they're going to go in as the uh top ranked teams so winning them four games at h home means Manchester City almost guaranteed themselves at least that playoff in the last 16 you look at the away games and I'm thinking at the moment six wins out of eight more than likely send City into the top eight of the league I imagine six wins in a draw would be enough and you can afford a little bit of Leverage with one loss and looking at the away matches against PSG Juventus sporting CP and bratislav and I'm thinking okay quite difficult certainly on paper you're thinking it's going to be quite difficult brat Slava probably being the team that you would think on paper's going to be the most simple and straightforward for Man City so if we win all four of our home games and against brattis Slava we're needing just a win against PSG Juventus or sporting CP to potentially go through uh in the top eight of the Champions League because remember first to eight are going to be the eight teams that go through as the I think top ranked teams uh into the last 16 teams from ninth down to 24th we going to face each other in a playoff where I presume that the top eight ranked teams from ninth down to six 16th are going to be the teams that get their home match in the second leg and the teams from 17th down to 24th are going to be the teams that are at home in the first leg and Away in the second leg to qualify for the last 16 with the losers dropping down into the Europa League and the bottom eight teams in the league dropping out of Europe all together if you're still with me there there we go that's what's going to happen so I'm thinking PSG Juventus sporting CP away from home good away matches good trips there to Paris to to chin and to lisb as well however uh I know you're looking automatically at the two big EES there you know PSG and Juventus and you're thinking there maybe the most difficult games for Man City but I think that match to Lisbon against sportting CP is a very tricky game but I I think City are capable of beating all of the teams PSG Juventus sporting CP uh brattis slav I think we're capable of beating all of them teams away from home I'm looking at the home times and I'm thinking we're capable of beating all of them I think Inter Milan potentially offering the trickiest of games but don't rule out bruge fireo difficult games as well free hit games for them they've got absolutely nothing to lose and remember going into every single game Man City are going to be the favorites which means Man City are going to be under pressure so how is City going to cope with this new format knowing that there is no real leverage when it comes to uh potentially trying to qualify in the top eight of the champions leagues League because uh the the the table's just going to be ever changing it's going to be difficult uh it's going to be interesting it's going to be fun it's going to be stressful it's going to be everything involved a couple of extra games for Manchester City against some top quality teams there I'd say most looking forward to that match against Inter Milan gives you a really good indication about where we're at in the Champions League because I'd expect Inter Milan to be making it probably to quarterfinal semi-finals even the final obviously 2023 they're the team we beat in Istanbul are going to be looking for Revenge so that's a very interesting matchup and really good preparation for the latter stages of the champions league but away matches against PSG Juventus sporting CP could be really good games I'm looking forward to playing PSG once more should be a really good game L kashiko who doesn't like El kashiko or taking on Juventus something a little bit different in chin as well what I will say though is these teams on paper look like high quality teams but PSG Juventus they're not as good as what they used to be and I would expect Manchester City to be the strongest team out of them eight teams that we're facing and I would expect Manchester City to be qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League in the top eight positions in the league difficult route yeah there's teams out there I think Liverpool I think Arsenal I think Real Madrid have all got it more straightforward than City and considering we're a top ranked team and arsenal were in pot two I think they've got it more straight forward than City it is what it is but it's the Champions League you know you computer generated draw we're going to be facing difficult teams everyone's got to face top quality teams uh so it's going to be interesting it's going to be difficult we need to turn up and play a really good game but I'm confident and what we've drawn today that City can go through get the job done and finish in one of the top eight positions to go through as a top ranked team into the last 16 of the Champions League Most looking forward to the Inter Milan game at home and I'd say for an away away match I'd probably say uh if I was heading to any of them I'd say sporting CP lisbourne beautiful country visiting Portugal uh but on on a paper you know team facing team basis I'd probably say you're probably going to say PSG away from home but here we are Paris is a nice place to visit I visited there a couple of times so if you are planning on doing any of the away games with City then do enjoy yourselves fun and games at the start of the Season we had the League Cup
