going to crack on with this video we're going to start off with the match information where this game is going to be taking place at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday 31st of August 2024 with a 5:30 p.m. BST kickoff time with the game being broadcast live on Sky Sports here in the United Kingdom anyone heading to the London Stadium for this game do enjoy yourselves and do have a cracking away day so our opponents West Ham formed in 1895 led by manager julen Leu I've said his name correctly he's currently finds West Ham ninth in the Premier League in terms of their form they lost their first game of the season at home to Aston Villa by two goals to one but did follow that up with a very good victory last weekend against Crystal Palace when they won 2-0 at sellur Park they also took on AFC Bournemouth at home in the League Cup on Wednesday night and they won 1-0 thanks to an 88th minute winner coming in from Jared Bowen so a couple of wins under their belt consecutive wins as well so Manchester City going to have to turn up and play a very good game now just having a look at the dangers for West Ham of course goal scorer on Wednesday night Jared Bowen to me is the highlighted danger man that Manchester City need to try and keep quiet in this game I'll look at their attack it's a decent attack Antonio Kudos as well a decent attack needs to be keeping these players quiet keep them quiet keep them out of the game that's man City's route into this game and as long as we're uh creating opportunities being clinical in front of goal we can go on to win this game now West Ham got a decent Midfield as well made up of Rodriguez susich and Lucas petta as well defense I think is a bit ify I think that could be man City's route into the uh into this game but they've got good options From the Bench as well including the likes of new signings full krog Somerville good Strikers good attackers Juan basaka could well be starting in this game as well uh James Ward PR bit of question marks at the time of we filming this video as to whether he is actually going to be a West Ham player by the end of the transfer window which shuts today so we'll see if ends up not securing a transfer away from West Ham he could be available for selection but I don't expect him to be starting in this game now in terms of injury news as far as I'm aware no injuries for West Ham uh Edson Alvarez apparently near in full fitness was on the bench in the last game could well feature in this game like it did last weekend in West Ham's match against Crystal Palace so I'm expecting West Ham to be lining up with a 4141 formation with arola starting in goal the back for made up of Juan basar MAV parnos kilman new signing signed 50 million in the summer and Emerson then a Midfield madeup of Rodriguez kual and pakar with Bowen on the right wing Kudos on the left wing and Antonio starting up top so that's West Ham done and dusted onto Manchester City formed in 1894 led by manager pet Guardiola currently find ourselves first in the Premier League we won the community Shield after beating Manchester United on penalties drawing that game at uh Wembley Manchester City followed that up with a couple of back-to-back wins in the Premier League including a two-nil away win against Chelsea and then one last weekend at home against ips switch town by four goals to one so City have dangerous everywhere on the pitch in terms of the latest injury news we did see Mato kovic pick up a knock in his last game does he need to be risked here we'll see rodri returning back to Man City training may even make the squad not expecting him to start in this game and Phil foden I do believe is over his so should be available for selection for this game so I'm going to pop up my team prediction now I'm going with Edison to start for Manchester City it will be a back free made up of aangi on the right hand side Yosh kardio on the left hand side Ruben Diaz going through the Middle with Rico Lewis being given more freedom to invert and go into Midfield to support whoever plays in defensive Midfield could be kovich if he is fit I'm going for John Stones to get some much needed game time going alongside Rico Lewis and then further ahead of them and going with gundan to give a little bit of rest for Bernardo Silva and also allow ilai gundan to get back up to scratch with things and starting with Kevin De bruyne as well out wide's a bit trickier because I would like to see greish and Phil foden getting more minutes but Savino's impressed me so rightwing I think he's got to start left wing do you go with the safety of Jack greish and having the defensive reinforcements with Jared boen playing maybe a sensible option but uh you know you don't start Docker you take away a lot of the pace of Manchester City's attack and uh you know if West Ham want to try and get on top of Manchester City and decide to attack at any point then having someone like Jeremy dock is a really good option to try and force West Ham back in particular be mindful of his pace and Juan basaka does like to get forward so uh but he's a very good man marker too so maybe Gish is the safer option I've gone with dku we'll see I've tried to keep the team as similar as possible because considering we've picked up two good wins already in the Premier League against Chelsea and I switch toown I don't really see a reason to be changing too much and going of course with berin Harland up top it means you've got good options like greish Bernardo silver and foden From the Bench maybe Matas Nunes as well James mcy another option rodry could be an option Walker a as well all good options there for Manchester City from the bench so in terms of my score prediction I'm going for both teams to score 3-1 Manchester City I'm going ering Harland to bager brace I reckon Jared Bowen scoring for West Ham and I think de bruyne seems to be in good form so far this season to cap it off with three goals and another three points for Manchester City in terms of my betting tips I'm going both teams to score I think it'd be foolish to say not backing ear in Harland any time I'm going Kevin De bruyer to assist or score any time as well I fancy Jared Bowen to score anytime is my betting tips for this game so next up for both sides Manchester City we take on brenford after the international break so we head into a couple of weeks break before we return back to action in the Premier League on Saturday 14th of September at the EAD stadium with a 3m. kick kickoff time West Ham
