Pep potentially leaving Man City, 115 charges & Gündoğan | Opposition Preview with special guest!

everyone hope you're doing well welcome to the opposition preview with a Manchester City fan ahead of our game this evening I'm joined by OE now we have a special guest for me but I'll explain that in just a second and before we get on to that o two wins for two so far in the league is it just sort of standard now at man city as a fan how how what have you made of your start through the season I think it's been a great start obviously I think uh Chelsea away for the first game of the season uh I think I think that's a tough game no matter what you kind of say about Chelsea's you know structure and the or whatever's going on in that club at the minute I think that's always a tough game away it's time for bridge so to come through that two- nil I thought that was really good obviously IP switch just coming up um obviously from the championship this season they probably would have guessed it was going to be a tough game um obviously watching us go one nil down I was like as City fans and I'm sure I was the same as every other City fan I was like it's fine don't worry and then obviously within kind of 10 minutes it was back to 3-1 um but yeah I'm more excited to just have the uh just have the season back started to be fair M um I feel like the summer break even though the Euros was in it I don't know I still felt like it went on you know kind of for ages but no I'm looking forward to uh what the season has to offer in regards to man City's transfer window obviously Alvarez left but you got svho in and Gan come back are you happy with the business I think so yeah I mean I think gundo coming back was big um he always he gives me this sense of kind of you know just calmness you know it's like you know I'm here don't worry about it kind of thing obviously I know rodri's only just come back training uh this week um so I think having someone like gundan in there for times when obviously you know I know de bruy is somewhat inj injury Pro some so have that you know that real figure in the middle of the field um is always good so yeah I think I think that's good I think svino looks exactly like mahrez when he's on the ball um same shirt number as well um I think he looks brilliant 30 million I I don't think there's you know you can't argue with that and yeah listen Alvarez leaving little bit gutted but you know he's probably not going to get the uh the game time ahead of Harland really so I completely understand why he's one why he's left and to get what 90 million or whatever it was 70 80 whatever it was a lot of money um you know it's kind of a bonus really in regards to Gunder in last season did you feel like you missed him at some point during the season yeah definitely yeah of course it did I mean yeah I do I can't remember which which games or anything like that but yeah of course I remember there being games going you know Gundam was there obviously de bruyne was only in for the F only played the second half of the Season you know so it would have been nice for have him in the early part um I know Roger was missing for a few games last season um so it would have been nice to have him kind of in there but I'm just so buzzing to have him back like he's just a big game player and let's be honest you know like Aston Villa in 2022 and obviously the FA Cup Final against United like yeah just a big game play Man pep said you haven't picked a captain yet which was bit of a weird comment to make is there anyone in particular you'd like to see it go to you've got some candidates you had Walker de bruy has had it on a few occasions but then gan's come back so can you give it to the sort of the new signing but he's not really a new signing I mean I Kevin De Bron is my favorite player I think of all time I think he's just an absolute J to watch I think he is a leader but I think he's his own kind of phenomenon you know what I mean he just I don't like he's like it's Kevin De BR so I think that possibly giving him captaincy wouldn't be the best thing I think like you know what I mean I don't think he trains as hard as the other guys do it a bit like Ed azard you remember him he like never trained at Chelsea because he was that good like he just you know didn't need Carlos TZ yeah kind I think your lead has got to you know lead from the top and in terms of that I don't think de BR has got that words I know gundan definitely would be I don't think it would be I don't think it'd be a bad thing giving it to gundan no because like yeah he's a new Sig it but he not e he's been there for what seven eight years prior or whatever it was um so yeah no I think gondor's a good shout I think rodri's a good shout you know Ruben Diaz he's a leader in it you I mean like um Cal Walker I think Cal Walker's been a good I think Cal Walker has been a good uh Captain so lots of contenders but H possibly the biggest leader of all could be off next summer pep are you pretty calm about his situation do you think he'll stay what's your thoughts around Pep guardiola's contractual situation and also some cryptic comments he's made in the last few months he's not really suggested if he's going or not yeah no I mean listen it'll be a massive blow to uh the blue side of Manchester um if you know if he does leave obviously you look at like Al Ferguson's Reign um how good that was and you know peps is somewhat in a similar vein and look what happened when they left um when he left sorry if kind of just gone into what turmoil as such but I think that when obviously Guardiola Lees I think you know I think that the foundations have been set you know from top to bottom in that club you know what I mean so I don't think it would be quite as bad as when Fergie left OB it who knows you I mean it might be exactly the you know it might be the exact same but I think kind of yeah I think the foundations have been set uh throughout so that we we probably still would would still go on and challenge whoever that manager may be but yeah massive flow if Guardiola leaves he probably what the one of the best if not the best manager that's kind of ever lived let alone been in the Premier League what's your prediction do you think he'll leave or do you think he'll still be here next season I think he'll still be here next season don't get me wrong I don't think we've got long um but yeah no I still think he'll be there I still think he'll be there next season definitely um but you know who know knows well it might depend on what happens with that 115 charges as a man city found are you quite relaxed about these incoming charges or you a little bit worri just to what it could do to City I'm trying to not think about it if I'm totally honest um because there's a lot of you know I feel like there's a lot of conspiracies or you know different stories rumors whatever is and you never really know what's kind of true big listener to talk big listener of talk sports Simon Jordan he says well this 115 charges is really only 30 charges or whatever it is because it's all just duplicated or whatever some of it's the grass being too long and stuff like that so I'm told and then there's other people saying the bang some people saying we're going to get relegated and what so I have no idea just got to see what happens and you know and then whatever happens kind of happens and I'll support them whether they're in the Premier League next season or you know playing R them away whatever it is I'll be I'll be there and right prediction time crystal ball time a little bit of fine what trophies are you going to win this season pen League champions league League Cup e cup what you what you hauling I fancy fancy is for the Premier League I do I think this two signs that we have made toinho and obviously gundan coming back I do fancy that uh so I fancy the Premier League the cups I mean I'd like to win an FA Cup we've not won an FA Cup since obviously the treble but before that it was like obviously years before um so I'd like to Wi the FA Cup and obviously I'd love to win the Champions League especially the Champions League in this new um this new league model that they've got going like it got it came out last night I'll be honest with have no idea who we've got I can't kind of understand it um obviously I'd like to win them all mate but you can't do but listen if we win the Premier League or or just one genuinely me as a city fan I'd be happy with that is it is it for the same for you I've always heard this discussion from Man City fans as to which one you prefer to win Premier League of champion now obiously it's not a choice you want to win both but in theory you have to select one is it the Premier League title for you all day every day yeah I think yeah of course it is yeah I think that to win something over 10 months and play the games and how hard they are and especially the Premier League one of the toughest leagues in the world well the toughest league in the world um I think that you know I think that takes I think that takes a real team you know real uh what's the word character and you know you know whatever yeah I I think that's really that's the one M right then I'm going to tell you who this guest is now before we discuss West Ham and how that game goes later on this evening this man is called o know that part however he is the lead singer guitarist of a band called The lilacs which is on my t-shir here I've mentioned them in a few videos prior alongside the K and lottery winners but these boys are bloody good they're I hope they don't offend oie too much a small band however they are fantastic I've seen them many times live Notting him out in bidlington turn in stok and I'm going to see them in Manchester in November at the O2 it's their biggest gig to date it's nearly sold out it's on the first of November the Friday Night tickets are less than 20 quid less than 20 quid for a ticket 15 there you go I'm GNA be trying as much as anyone to get an oasis ticket that's 150 quid right context here 150 quid 15 quid for a night out in Manchester they're a fantastic band I recommend you go listen to them and my two songs it has always been Vic's road but it's now Grace this this one live is unbelievable I'll tell I'll tell you that now and I've seen you a noty above a record shop a few months ago I don't know how many people West Ham yeah I think they're a good side I think they always have been I I think that there was a lot of stuff around well our manager Todd Harrison's a West Ham fan massive West Ham fan um he went to wherever it was when you won the European Cup that prag it was yeah um and I I we have chats all the time got a lot of time for West Ham lot of respect I think that I don't know what kind of Camp you were in I was in David moy's Camp I was a Moise in the hallway um obviously the decision to partway moy um what was your mate what was he in regards to David Moyes uh Todd he was Moyes as well we both agreed that we were David Moyes um you know kind of in obviously not want to cook for a long time and obviously to take you there and win that and then almost you know give him a lot of stick the next season we thought was a bit harsh but listen all good things come to an end I suppose um and don't know loads about your new manager couldn't tell you his name to be fair I don't thinky oh yeah ly course it is yeah don't know loads about him um but yeah I've got a lot to wam I think they're I think they're a tough side especially at home I think they're a tough side at home um but yeah that's kind of all I got to sound on the game tonight then do you fan your chances um yeah I obviously I always fancy our chances I do genuinely I know exactly what city are like I don't think we've lost a game for 21 games in a row now is it in all competitions um you know we're just just a bit of a dominant Force at the minute um so I do fancy it I think that you know if if I was a betting man of both team to score would be a good good thing to back um but yeah I my prediction I suppose I don't know if you just asked me that would Big two1 Man City there you go there you have it from oi the
