[Music] well good afternoon West Ham fans good after Good Friday afternoon West Ham fans Us in the West Ham there we hope you're all safe and well week has almost gone congratulations people and we've got the weekend and no West hand to ruin it this weekend but obviously still Internationals obviously England play tonight I reckon probably more chance of B getting some minutes tonight than the next game personally but that's just my humble opinion but it's the Hammers headlin in association with knes upm brown.com don't forget to check them out uh lunchtime today did live show was quite fun you know talking about just kicking the breeze back for an hour or so why not um and then this morning I did a little bit about um uh news that there's at least six players on the transfer list from West Ham um for January um so we'll see what happens let me know your thoughts about that we're going to talk about this weekend as well in a bit um but let's start with let's start with International shall we um obviously we're in the midst of these the two we International break there's another one in November for you to look forward to as well just to mark your card um but a couple of hammers May played some minutes over the weekend over the last few days sa Ben Rama earned his 24th Algerian cap must be stacked up by that now on Thursday uh night as Algeria thrashed cap verie 5-1 in the International Friendly he came off the bench in the second half as algeria's preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and also the afcons in January stepped up a gear um in Europe Tommy such and Vladimir sufal suffered the disappointment of a three-nil defeat um for the Czech Republic in Albania as their hopes of qualifying for the 2024 Euros took a significant knock they both started um but a red card for one of the Czech Republic team with the score at just one n to um Albania left the checks facing an uphill battle to be fair um despite the Czech Republic side um having around 65% possession and registering 13 shots on goal tbia seven it was the homide that ran out relatively comfortable winners that defeat puts him third the Czech Republic third in group e a point behind Second Place Poland and five shy of leaders Albania who top the group um we do the cze Republic side do have a game in hand however and that's against the farro Islands on Sunday meanwhile there's a couple of Academy players also involved in their sort age group Internationals across the last couple of days uh on Wednesday um sha Moore started as um Republic of Island under 19s built beat under Scotland under 19's 2-0 uh in Spain the Winger just playing about about an hour just under an hour um and then we had Michael Forbes and Patrick Kelly both featuring for Northern n under 21s Forbes played the whole match as they beat Azan under 21s one nil with 10 men while Kelly was substituted with 30 minutes left he started the game but was taken for 13 minutes and they've gained their first win in their qualifiers for the 2025 Euro under 21 Euro Championship Finals there we go so obviously we've got this weekend you know potentially the big Clash um of uh Alvarez versus cadus that could happen um and various others obviously Jared Bowen making potentially some minutes um alons arola as well so yeah keep an eye on the channel we'll give you a little bit of a debrief on Monday and hopefully we reports that no one's been injured because that's the worst fear of the international break talking of international break one rumor that came up in the last couple of days is Tommy Su to Inter Milan okay um which was widely um poo pooed by by some people um as just you speculation but according to Kella DEA sport Tommy such leaving West Ham for interand would not be a surprise the outlet the media Outlet reported on Thursday um that the inter director let me get his name right Pierro I'm not going to get it right anyway is Pierro oolo was um apparently due to being attendance for the Czech Republic's game against Albania um to watch such up up close apparently um it stated that the Obstacle of signing such is not significant but the London Club will still have to deal with the will of its player um it would not be a it said said that at 28 years old it would not be surprised if he wanted to try to make the leap to a more prestigious team know and Inter in this sense could really be the ideal stage for his Ambitions L out um obviously you know he had he had last season not a great season at all we're seeing a much more motivated it seems a much better Tommy such back to sort of you know the levels he was when he first joined the club really I think um you know he's got I think he's he's got four goals two assists in 10 appearances so six goal involvements um in 10 appearances at Club level this season um you know he's always seen as as the blocker maybe for while we're not playing kadus at the moment so it could be but but then he's just sign he has he has signed a deal but it's not official in another fouryear deal so but that might be just to maintain his his value really rather than otherwise I think his his actually contract would have run out in 2025 I think um but so apparently the inter Inter Milan director sporting director was in attendance watching him against Albania who lost who lost 3-0 to who J lost three nil to so maybe not now who knows um but I think it's interesting one to see we spoke about it um this morning about the the belief that a big bid is or a bid is going to come in for either such or n fed from the S pro league in January and Steen always looking at alternative to sabbo um from by lusen obviously hcap as well has been person we've had Harry MaGuire basically issue come get me to West Ham in a press conference so you know we're already looking at replace which is the way it should be it's the way it should be you know um someone like we said someone like Su Zuma for example you know maybe a slower pace of game uh in a warmer climate May suit him better in terms of injuries potentially um I think he's played only he's only been available for 45 games of the 75 that he's been potentially selected for so you know almost well not just not half but pretty much you know um so is that great you I know people go another Captain who who's gone but he's only just been made Captain for seven games and if he Le LIF in January you know someone like MAV panis would come in um to start you know as as his replacement and then they look to bring in maybe someone in January who could do another job like a tat Sao for example but anyway we'll keep an eye on that one in January got a few months to go before then and we but uh we'll see what happens um someone who is impressing I mean Thomas is impressing definitely this season but someone else who is is Freddy pots um Freddy's on loan at um wi Wick Wanderers um he's already scored more goals than his dad did in his entire football in career so because he scored two um first been an absolute Banger and the second one been a relatively you know simple tapping but doesn't matter that's that's 100% more goal return than Steve pots did in 500 games anyway um he is impressed during his lone spell at Wickam Wanderers um the 20-year-old has been in superb form for Wickam has already been compared to eay um by the league one Club I believe e was on loan as well at Wickam um before making the jump um the athletic claim that pot's new teammates have already been Amazed by his ability and how quickly he settled into life at the club alone spell um they actually said he was like a almost like a new cess fabrigas take that I'll take that no don't no don't at all as always you I think lone spells if we can get the you team out on loan it just gives them so much more experience and does them a word of good you know we've we've interviewed many people who have been went out loan um in their early formative years at West Ham and it makes a huge difference you know rather than and that's that's my view about Divine as well I would i' think I'd prefer for him to go out on Loan in January get some minutes get some proper minutes you know even if we do sell Danny ings and bber moves up one I mean look at how lack of game time that Danny yings has had this season it doesn't make no difference you know you know he's he's still he'll be third rather than fourth choice I'd rather um goes out gets knocked about by some big big Defenders can show what he can do I mean look at I remember when when I know different people in terms of their size and stuff but look when Jermaine went to Bournemouth uh was it bouth on loan yeah it was Bou on loone wasn't it and had like the goal scoring didn't he equal or beat P's all time goal scoring record or something like that terms of consecutive games scored came back absolutely fine on all cylinders there's no doubt they get experience playing every single week in the first team against you know physical sides like you would do in the lower leagues will make a better player will make Freddy come back a stronger midfielder and you need strength in particularly in the Premier League Midfield so let's see what happens but it's all looking good for Fred all looking good for Fred at the moment and as I said on Saturday Sunday we've got very special very special interview a yeah it's like every kid's dream is to play for England like it still holds that weight you know it still does something very significant about representing your country um and it's just the the day you know I played my my debut against Mexico and it was like if the world would have stopped then I'd have been a a happy man you know just pulled that shirt and that was from from the age of 10 to the age of 19 when I made my debut that was my that was my goal play for England play for England play for England and it was just and then you still get the buzz every time you know every time you got the call out for the next 50 odd times yeah it's like anything you do get you do get used to things you know you do like anything you know what I mean like you do something for the first time it's always the best there's a lot more that to come as I said you got it's it's it's it's one of my most favorite interviews I've ever done I think and I I wouldn't want you to miss it because it we talk
