Law enforcement continues to scour southeast Kentucky for Joseph Couch who authorities believe is responsible for a mass shooting that left five people injured. Kentucky State. Police provided this aerial video of a portion of the search area. This is in Laurel County to illustrate the challenges they're up against in this manhunt Joseph Couch who's 32 allegedly opened fire on a Kentucky highway. Authorities say shots hit a dozen cars, injuring five people, some of them seriously NBC News has learned Couch sent a text message to someone about 30 minutes before the shooting which said in part, I'm going to kill a lot of people. Well, try at least. And another message that said I will kill myself afterward.
