sandwich and I got Mickey Winder to go and take the sandwich off his pH like it couldn't function for about 10 minutes we used to go to these venues and we' all get off the bus and you know the sign post stage would be late for sound checks like stage stage this way every I never forget I'd always be at the back everyone of walk straight to the stage except he just come out and just follow for catering come out crumbs all over his beard so we got to get these tracks for Johnny cuz he's he can do them in February right so there's pretty boy Council Skies Council skies and love is a rich man okay so they're all completely different drum sounds as well I would have thought yeah I mean I'm on those I'm on those yeah no no no um open the door I think probably get Chris to do that um anyway so whichever one you want to do okay I'm easy I guess love as a rich man is a bit more a it and Capal Skies is a bit um what did you say Harvest for the world well that was no what it was is when you played it to me first it was a boss and over more of a boss and over F and it had a back bead in it and then I thought it had because of the the acoustic mildly insulting oh was oh were you insulting I think so remember that period yeah you were insulted not for the first time you ha do you hate that song no no okay no I just thought that it become more well it was just but but the the sound I well I don't know it it's robotic and bang on the money yeah but my mainous man here suggested live haats so it gives it a bit more of a swing and I was like that's a great idea and of course I well we have spoke about this and we just said look give Strang boy one one one last crack at here one last go this man this is the last crack can tell you this is the last dance this is the last the last you know perfect but it but it I mean in some way I would like it to be I would like it to be a loop so it stays in with the keeping of the the demo you know so it sounds mechanical yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah that's fine I got this idea of putting the acoustic once you've done it through that little Marshal amp as well to add a certain kind of grit sound that I've got in my head okay which is course I can you can hear it like it or not like will it sound will it still sound like an acoustic oh yeah because the thing is with this track is it just reminded me when I rot it of the Cure I think I'll just do it without the closed high without the Open high open higher and then do the open higher as an overdub let's try that let's try it all right on Christmas Day swimming y oh yeah shall we let's do it let's do it good morning how are you oh this is very nice well you caught in a bit of messy we're still kind of setting up this was this was all very nice and tidy for writing for a year it was just me in here with one microphone wow a and all these you not get lonely you're not got a dog I hate dogs no we were going to bring Tommy was like should been the dog like no dogs no I remember when you came around you were like I don't mind your dog if it's in your house I'm kind of respectful to no I would never have brought the door play I'm not giving up tonight he can talk you through this Memphis thing that he's going on about wow so we'll play we'll play it with the vocal and then play it instrumentally that's what we'll do right eat track yeah yeah cool that amazing mate because they get they get the cellos particular get sort of swallowed up with the Reverb so sure but I think it's we can make this work brilliantly I think it's really inspired and it's a brilliant idea death to the world oh yeah that's a great stuck yourself in [Music] I don't know where I've been oh that's that is amazing Absol I love that I mean the Goosebump fact is that is such a tune thank you very much oh M that's absolutely you proud of that one that's my favorite one gorgeous the first song I wrote here that so inspired toward towards the end that end section there there was wasn't I couldn't hear the choir oh okay yeah it's just it's not sample off a keyboard yeah yeah they those parts going to change is that will that section towards the end Poss get more Heavenly and more when it gets to the make it when it go there one section that just does that rundown that's when it kind of yeah it should gradually get bigger and then feel like the can take it I mean the strings can do that but it's just that the sound is so beautiful and so Heavenly and works so gorgeous you know so well in this I wanted I wanted to hear more of them so that otherwise I'm going to go there with my Str but I think it should be quiet but I think if we get like the 50 piece choir we don't have to get 50 I mean it takes away I think if we get if we get the three girls and track them with with the correct amount definitely um just so they don't get in the way you know what I mean if I think I think air I think a choir will be too bombastic for it it'll be too kind of a bit football stadium I know I would let the string start the piano start it and establish it then I'd bring the strings in on it and then I'd harmonize it and so the harms would go like that and then you get to the and then it's going somewhere is it then then then the strings kind of drop down you got that lovely warmth that's what I would do so i' kind of grow through it with the strings and harmonize it and then the cellos and bases come into that section and then you get that really nice contrast of it being there and then the warmth of the strings after thatt so that's what I would do do oh it's just but there's so many things you could do like you say so the next one the the top line is set the the string line is set okay but it's very kind of got Glen Campell Vibe is what we're going for okay beautiful so crack on there Callum love Glen C [Music] sun in so do you want it do you want it to feel like you want to be able to hear the cellos and you want to hear the kind of a bit of what you did on when were we doing the first album whatever you did on everybody's on the run on record machine it's that kind of thing it's going to be that kind of song that I think we were 24 for that yeah right so the next one has got there's a there there a there's a string line already on it and we were going to keep it until it was like well actually let's get Rosie to do to okay and it's beauy heavy is the head that wears a hollow Crown the must be something in the air let talk of Revolution [Music] here wow that's me that's brilliant love that that's incredible wow love the cord just love it everything about it yes so that and the in the outro there's a bit of sculpt for something not not too jaunty no okay yeah I love it I like theal at the [Music] end Wai on now this next one I don't know whether it needs strings but I was listening to it the other night and thinking it's quite beatlesque and in the in the in there's a solo section which might require not huge strings it's just the Cello's doing a kind of iron the wallrus thing not standing out but just adding yeah texture like a like a harmonic thing like oh what is that yeah yeah so it's um there she blows break it Li ship
