Intro Gracie abam star is on the rise the Grammy nominated pop singer who recently toured with Tay has just released a new album featuring none other than Tay Tay herself it all comes after her own sellout Aussie Tu that saw fans camping out overnight just to see the singer today's entertainment producer anak day caught up with [Music] her Gracie a huge congratulations is in The Secret of Us order for you your new album The Secret of us is out and it is so beautiful thank you for saying that it's started from our couch at home uh Audrey who is my best friend and my roommate she and I um know everything about each other and are always in the middle of kind of feverishly catching each other up on all details of all things and then because being in your 20s and falling for people always feels like the biggest deal in the world we sort of just had fun with the drama of it all and ended up creating these stories that you know you hear in the [Music] songs one song we need to talk about is Close to You close to you because you sat on that song for seven years before you decided to release it it didn't feel right at the time like I didn't have any clue as to what felt like me I loved writing the song so much and when we produced it I remember just feeling so excited about it obviously I took to Instagram you know later that day when we when we had the [Music] demo but it just finally fit thematically and sonically within the world of this album I'm so stoked it's out and I've loved seeing people's response to it it just brings me a lot of Joy um so they were right and I was an idiot for waiting so you toured with Taylor Swift and now Taylor Swift she's featuring on your album um how did that come about tell me about the song tell me everything we had just gone out to to dinner and and we had like you know a bunch of alcohol and we were like catching up talking about our albums a lot she was in the middle of toric poets and I was in the middle of this we just got so excited that we were like we have to go home and like listen everything the beginning of what ended up being us um started playing and we were both like wo and that mind you this was at like 2: in the morning and we were you know had a lot of Cosmos and wine and like we wrote yeah we wrote the song out of her piano into very early morning like I think I left at like 6:00 a.m. or something anyone else in the world by you two had a few too many drinks and and wrote and recorded a song at 2: a.m. it would not sound good I remember waking up the next day like in the afternoon and listening to the video that we took of the song and texting her being like wait like we maybe did something actually cool we were both like waa it's fun that it exists and I can't believe that she's on my album it's it's beyond every version of all my wildest dreams congratulations Outro again and I can't wait to see camping overnight to see you in concert here again very soon right that would be kind but I also want people to sleep in a comfortable spot and stay hydrated that was my concern last time I was like how like did they bring water like how what about pillows so I cannot wait especially for this tour I can't wait to be back playing these [Music] songs and they say no good comes from alcohol exactly graci's album secret of us is out now she is a very cool and talented person hey there today fans Sarah and what's my name again Carl hey thanks for watching our YouTube channel though subscribe now for more news special reports and amazing Aussie stories and Kyle misbehaving of course that never happens always happens she talking about always happens
