you're wondering what this guy is doing on the plane because I'm flying back down home I'm going back home I'm flying back down home oh my God I can't I can't nail this my name is Jordan milata and I'm from bankstown Australia and I play for the Philadelphia Eagles a rugby player from Australia and he's going to come over here I ended up in America by the NFL International player pathway program and I am going back home to announce our first round pick in Queensland so really honored to do that and I represent the eagle on my chest and do something that's pretty historic and uh do it in my home country welcome back home we're here in Sydney Australia the snack bag it's the snack bag what's in the snack bag bunch of my favorite treats this is Blaze's first time trying a lamington I remember I told you it's the chocolate coated coated sponge cake with coconut TR coconut here I'll put it over here uh-huh what do you think as a game changer yeah I I told I told you bles Brazil is our Eagles cameraman our videographer and uh him and I go back to my rookie year and he was an in and we got quite close during that time and I wanted him on the trip with us just cuz of that relationship that we had that's strong that's a love it mhm love it what about you well um I'm a huge fan of the you know one B only [Music] so Australia is special to me cuz it's home and to me that holds such a special place in my life heart and to be able to represent Australia and sore that being my Heritage And my nationality it's a pretty special place because of those things so I was raised there I was born there and I love it [Music] there gr up in bankstown was pretty special I think Philly and bankstown have the same characteristics like that True Grit and hardworking people so for me fitting into Philly was easy cuz it just reminded me of Bankston and where I grew up right now we are currently driving to go to my parents house um my sister see my sister as well um it's going to be good we going to see my nieces my brothers are coming over and uh yeah just going to hang out with a couple hours it's going to be [Music] good little tight for the car a little tight every time I come home all the family come over so to see everybody reminisce so this is my family family say hi all wait who's this guy people people won't believe that I used to tackle this guy but people people people find out if we had a foot ball right now if we had a foot B right now the everyone will find out I'll expose his ass uh you do me a favor can you remove the IM glasses off your head this is how he was like BR the out of this guy no no it's all good nothing's changed that's how it's always been I was always picked on he always ate my food he always ate my food everyone asked everyone wanted to know what happened to my size he ate it all that's what happened I ate it all because it was hiding underneath his [Music] hello mother this is blaz the camera I think we surprise Mom so my family knows me as F but you guys know me as Jordan f is short for La which is my first name if you didn't know and Jordan is my middle name so I just find it easier to go by Jordan cuz I don't like it when people butcher my sour name but to my family it's F fongs or FY hallelu being sour means everything you know that I grew up in a very strict sour household and you know my dad's big on culture and and and representation and I think that's why I was able to do what I did because of the foundation that my father laid out for me and um I think it's pretty special that my family get to witness what I'm doing but I think it's even more special when I get to go home and and share those moments with them and just be me again it's still bizarre people always sort of say God it's so awesome that your brothers made it you must be so proud of course so proud of him but for us it came from playing in the backyard and going to their games on the weekend and and supporting them at Park footy just there on Saturdays and Sundays and now our brother is on this International platform that's still an adjustment because the best thing is like when he comes home it is just like this he just comes home and we just talk we just talk how we normally talk and laugh and you know he still eats the most and has the most deadly farts and we still haven't got a chance just want I just want to say I don't eat the most anymore no um let's just clear that up so when our nutritionist watches still he's still very much fer he's still very much fer when he comes home and that's that's probably the best part of all of it is like we understand that he's had to make adjustments like we are so thankful to the Eagles organization and to all the family and friends that um our brother and Nikki have have sort of created over there it was something really re assuring for us as a family um I think the only thing we really had to adjust to with the times to wake up for the games time need to wake up for the games time we you should have to 3:00 3: a.m. there's still a lot of rules that we still are missing out on but the basics of it all yeah we've got it pretty down pack yeah and I understood that they weren't talking about my brother because that was a good thing it was a good thing when they didn't talk about him cuz at first I'd be like oh he totally blocked he totally blocked all them rushes like he was awesome and they don't mention him and then it's only afterwards that you find out that that's a good thing when they don't say his name mhm and then I realized that I didn't know Lane Johnson's name cuz they never say his name holding offense number 68 get me what's wrong with you man bye bye bub see you guys thanks we joining us at uh par [ __ ] see you guys later what you guys soon peace and [Music] love I like to say that bankstown is a very culturally diverse City I think you know just growing up and it was a very nostalgic feeling going back to Banks now because I just wanted to eat everything that I had grown up eating and it was a major Focus for me to show you guys what I ate growing up and show the culturally diverse scene that we have in bankstown so we are now doing a food tour around bankstown we just got down grabbing some por RS at lampong just beautiful roast por R well just look at that look at look at [Music] that even better than I remember no chili in there bird ey chilies that just phenomenal can't beat home bro can't beat home see you at the next place the last stop on the food tour was shown to me by my brother and his wife and uh originally when they told me about this place they said it was the best mon in Australia so it was kind of hard to kind of hard to really um believe them until you know I tried it sure enough I tried it and I have to agree this might be the best manou in Sydney Australia and possibly all of Australia um can I get a double deer and then uh Z and L and then uh half meat and half cheese please this is lab zaa and then some olives so that's basically like a cheese pizza on the bottom and put another one on top and the top layer is a zaka so this this ster and cheese this is called a double Deco it's got a bottom layer of cheese and on top it's a I think you Americans call it oregano what does it smell like smells like oregano all right very pungent oregano I can see the cheese there we go there we go there we go what's it's perfect it's so good I how you get food this perfect unbelievable out of 10 10 out of 10 and then this one's your classic meat and cheese pizza pretty fire man that's top tea bro that's top tea [Music] so we are out here today at the Collingwood magp Pi's uh training facility going to get a nice little tour around this great football club or they call it football here so 40 club talk football compare the two and uh just see how the lifestyle varies and uh yeah let's go and get a crack what are you doing today brother uh we're just going to take you for a tour around the facility the Callingwood mad Pi are an AFL team that is the Australian football league and these guys just wonder championship last year How Sweet It Is cing would win the Grand Final the mag Pi in their massive Army win a record eing 16th flag so we've just recently put this new Hall of Fame so really try to emulate with our past M sa sav's up here he's um sa's up here oh my goodness number one Rocka is one of the stars of this game Sav Rocka for our American audience know him as is the punter for the Philadelphia Eagles and for the Australian viewers he was a pretty darn good AFL player for the Collingwood B brings it in towards the pocket rocker toar rocker a brilliant tremendous game he's playing I think our stories are pretty similar and they're not knowing how to play in the NFL and not know how to play American football and that's where we kind of resonate in the paths that we've walked the boys how's it going pleas with you yeah is forer stop stop about you guys man that's not about me why is everyone sizing me up man I'm the this guy here man tell you man so where's your locker I will say man you guys have nice ass facility really yeah probably what happens when you guys win the 36 36 I'm trying I'm trying to plan a stitch up with locker room like Supply custom like number ones you know put these in a locker will lose their the is this I think it would be hilarious dude just like guys showing up the training camp with their personalized number buzy smuggle in the back dude I think it'll be hilarious trying to stitch them up so I can't wait to wear these around and what what what are you guys going to say now what you guys going to say now all yeah sorry man pleasure Mee you guys but uh yeah just yeah yeah just just a little uh just a little taste of uh American culture this is probably Australia's number one sport it is not rugby it's not soccer and it is not American football it's all three all three Sports combined coach just want to say you're a hell of a coach I can see the boys are well Dead starts from you just telling Dam I was like I want to run through a wall I play SP I'm ready to go out what am I doing again what you doing what you doing we'll be in Bly we got to do some more Eagles SL NFL work up there this was just a nice little pit stop to see how you guys run when I think about my journey I think about 7 years ago you know I was drafted in round seven and now I have the honor of calling our first round pick in Australia so we just got here to where the draft party is going to be and this is also where we're going to announce the eagle first round draft pick day one incredible honor very excited a ton of fans inside now so let's go and have fun just wait until this SC comes up and I'll get to announce it to the world is that a video as well oh it's some with a oh sorry one more oh there we go so we are moments away from announcing our draft pick here in Australia and creating a piece of history that will go down on the books this is the first time ever a player has announced the first a pick other than commissioner so this a pretty special moment we're on the clock we're on the clock we're on the clock we are the clock on we on the clock clock we are on do I mention we're on the clock and as I'm doing this I'm going through the emotions you know of when I was drafted and how emotional that back at the trip and how big of a moment it was and the occasion I think it was pretty special you know if you know me I'm big on connections and being able to share these big moments with my wife and being able to represent the Philadelphia Eagles in my home country so those would be the biggest takeaways for sure what a special special day what a special special trip and to be doing it in Australia I I mean I no words can can explain the position that I'm in today the platform and the opportunity that I'm able to do this able do this for a living is truly special so thank you to the
