THE TOP AUTUMN FASHION TRENDS 2024 - What to wear this Fall / Easy wearable fashion trends for Fall

Autumn winter is where I [Music] thrive well hello there and welcome back to my channel if you are new here my name is Kira and I share videos on shopping for the best Basics on the High Street how to build a capsule wardrobe and lots of other good stuff so if that sounds good to you then do hit subscribe because I would love to have you back for more videos so in today's video we are doing one of my most favorite videos to film every season and it is my Trends videos Autumn winter is where I thrive it is my favorite season for fashion we can just have so much more fun with our outfits we can play with textures and layering you know things like leather suede heavier materials it's also a really really fun time for accessories and then coming into the party season it is just the best time for fashion so without rambling on too much let's get into the key trends that we are going to be seeing for Autumn winter I always say with these Trend videos I feel like we should take these with a pinch of salt it is really about looking at your own personal Style and what works for that it is about taking key pieces and incorporating them into your wardrobe or better still looking at how you can style pieces in your existing wardrobe a little bit differently so that is how I tend to do Trends I've also been doing some Trend reports over on my ltk page where you can shop some of these different Trends so I will leave links to those in the description below if you want to check them out so the first big Trend that you have probably seen already is burgundy deep Breads and wines Cherry Cola colors Browns and all of the kind of colors in that palette that rich decadent really gorgeous Hues and we've seen it so much not only on the runways for Autumn winter it is all over our Pinterest but we're also seeing it all over the High Street as well every season we will always see certain Shades and colors that are having a moment but what I really like is that these colors are actually really easy to style with a neutral wardrobe and they're colors that I have already been incorporating and I find they just blend so well with everything I already have a way that a lot of people are incorporating this is by adding little pops of that color Burgundy Bags are having a huge moment we are seeing a lot of great options on the High Street goes really really well with let's say an all black outfit outfits with neutrals Tans beiges it looks great with it also looks really beautiful with gray gray and burgundy is a really gorgeous pairing so it's really really easy to Style with what you already have I have definitely been picking up one or two burgundy pieces top on my list was a burgundy knit I also picked up one or two burgundy Handbags and I have my eye on a pair of delicious knee high boots in a really deep wine color they're almost black looking they are so Divine again everything will be linked below and I'll link my Trend reports as well if you'd like to shop this trend on the High Street and then moving on to the Browns and kind of rust colors and I did mention this in my spring summer Trend report and really we've seen it throughout the year that brown has been having a massive uptake in searches it's much more prevalent on the High Street it's an even easier color to style than burgundies and reds an all black look with tan or brown accessories is just so classic so Chic and it's a really easy way to incorporate via your accessories via Footwear Brown coat or a brown Blazer it's very easy to get your wees out of it because it's not a super bold color another Trend that we are going to be seeing in Autumn winter is tights and I know I mentioned this in spring summer we were seeing them a lot in the early colder months of the new year and it's definitely something I embraced it allows you to update your existing wardrobe by making minimal purchases I picked up a few different pairs of tights in burgundies Grays Browns and I also got a few brighter Reds and what's so handy is I can basically just style them with my existing wardrobe and I think that we are going to be seeing so much more colorful tights interesting kind of tight styling coming into Autumn winter because obviously tights are such a winter appropriate accessory I don't think I could do a trend report for Autumn winter without talking about suede it is everywhere at the moment it's all over the High Street it's all over Pinterest we saw so much of it on the runway and it is such a decadent locks fabric if you buy well you'll have these pieces for life I think a really easy way of incorporating this is again in your accessories and we've seen this with suede bags having such a big moment right now everyone and their mother has seen the gorgeous Margot bag from the row in the beautiful chocolate suede chocolate suede in particular and brown suede is kind of like the star of the suede show at the moment I recently picked up the most beautiful chocolate suede tote from flattered comes in at under 500 it is absolutely gorgeous I cannot wait to style her all winter l and if you want something a little bit lighter I also highly recommend this clay clutch by flattered it is in the most beautiful suede fabric it's in that beautiful neutral clay color and it's going to be so easy to style with the neutrals in your wardrobe very excited to bring it into Autumn winter as well next up let's talk about leopard print and it is definitely a trend that we have seen creeping in in the earlier months of the year we saw it in the spring summer Trend reports and it's back for Autumn winter with a bang leopard print coats leopard print jackets BL lasers we've seen a lot of leopard print trousers this year I'm a little bit hesitant but I do think incorporating this into your accessories is really really fun and I think animal print in general it doesn't have to be leopard print and a way I think you can incorporate animal print in a way that's still quite Chic and understated is actually snake print or python we've been seeing a lot of python print Footwear belts bags and it's a really fun way of adding this nod with without going you know a little bit overboard another thing we're going to be seeing lots of for Autumn winter is full skirts and volume in our skirts we're going to be seeing a lot more of that sculptural volume that we saw during spring summer and it is going to come back with a bang for Autumn winter and I for one really embraced this trend I found it really easy to style it looks super elegant it really ties in with the old money aesthetic that there has been so much hype over in the last I would say year or two too but really it is a very classic style and the skirts that I picked up over the last year in that kind of Maxi length the full skirts the satin Maxis I will be wearing them right into Autumn winter they are pieces that have turned into basics in my wardrobe and I really don't think that they're going anywhere I would highly recommend it it's really flattering it's easy to style it's super comfortable and it also looks really elegant as well and on that sculptural note I really think that coming into Autumn winter we're going to continue to see that sculpture in our outfits and what I mean by that is let's say a really strong shoulder with a really nipped in waist and then a full skirt it's almost like a scaparelli style of silhouette and it's so elegant it's so beautiful I feel like Blazers we are still seeing the oversized Styles but we're also seeing those nipped in hourglass Styles which really are so flattering they're so so Chic they can be styled from day until night I picked up a beautiful uh blazer from and Other Stories it's like a TW Tweedy wool absolutely gorgeous and it has this little nip in the waist that kind of elevated detail to an everyday Blazer which I really really like an easy way of getting this effect in what you already have is just by belting your Blazers we're actually going to talk about belts more in the accessory section because that is also a big Trend that's coming for Autumn winter so following on from that kind of sculptural style that we're going to be seeing we are also going to be seeing oversized fabrics and draping and lots of volume things like capes blanket scarves think of those jackets with built-in or matching scarves that we saw so much of last winter they are back and are going to be so strong this season as well it's something that you don't need to necessarily go out and buy you can also just style what you have in your wardrobe in this way there's something really Chic and elevated it's almost kind of vintage style but done in a way that's very modern and I absolutely love it another thing we are seeing all over the catwalks and on the high streets is the the kind of American Western Trend and this encompasses things like double denim but also it is darker Indigo Denim and this is again something you heard me talk about in my spring summer Trend report denim I always say is an all seon round item especially in Ireland and in the UK I can wear my jeans I can wear my denim shirts really all season long it's also a key Fabric in the transitional season so now as we are finishing up in summer and we're moving into Autumn winter your denim is such a go-to for transitional outfits and we're seeing it all over the High Street there are so many amazing options I have my eye on this beautiful denim shacket from H&M I am patiently waiting for it to come back into stock I love it I have quite a few pairs of Darker denim jeans in my wardrobe already it's such a gorgeous shade of denim and again it Styles really really well with the Browns the Tans the burgundies that we're also seeing we're seeing things like cowboy boots on the High Street or Western kind of nods in our Footwear now this leads into the final clothing Trend I'm going to talk about before we move into accessories and that is Countryside Chic and this is kind of like a traditional Countryside little bit of an English Heritage inspiration and we're seeing things like utility jackets wax jackets think of the barber style of jacket having a huge Resurgence and again these are pieces that we can often have in our wardrobes already your kind of high collared style trenches um my boyfriend has a beautiful Barber jacket with which I often steal from him and I definitely will be doing that this Autumn winter but we're seeing some gorgeous versions on the High Street um H&M brought out this beautiful kind of utility style jacket in two different colors and I love it it's also a really great price also seeing it in nods to check and plaid so I feel like this Autumn winter we're seeing the larger kind of Bolder plaid prints coming back and having a moment you can see this in your Tartan scarves or throws or in your jackets your Blazers something that does kind of come back every Auto winter but we're seeing a lot more of it on the High Street now especially as we come into like the deeper parts of winter it's just a very rich fun print so let's move on to some accessory trends that we're going to be seeing and the first thing I want to talk about is belts things like the Western Trend we see that huge influence in belts so we're seeing larger belt buckles we're seeing more statement belts this also kind of plays into the sculptural structured Trend that I was talking about and we're seeing people belting their capes belting their Blazers doubling up on belts to create this really cool silhouette of again having your let's say draped fabric on top you might have a cape or a big Shaw scarf and then you're throwing it over the shoulder and you're belting it in at the waist or as I said you are kind of leaving your Shaw open but you're throwing on a nice big brooch it's thinking of those like statement buckles brooches they're pieces you might have in your wardrobe already but again on the High Street we were seeing a lot of really cool chunky belts structured belts wrap belts and we're also seeing a lot of chunky low waist belts as well another big Trend that we are seeing so much in Auto winter is bag charms and again we saw this in spring summer it's been going on for a while really leans into people's individual personality we've seen on the runways with luxury designers they're all bringing out their own luxury bag charms which again is so fun but not something that I would necessarily be investing in but what you can do is have a look at what you currently have at home I've loved seeing girls on the likes of Tik Tok take some of their jewelry and repurpose it into Bag charms if you have bracelets or necklaces or any kind of statement ones that even might be a bit damaged you can reattach them pop them on key Rings you can get creative with it you can add things like ribbons you can add key Rings you know there's so much that you can do it's really moving away from that extreme minimalism that we have seen over the past few years I feel like people are loving their Trinkets and tassels and things like that more now and I love seeing it because it's so much fun following on from this and I did mention this in my spring summer Trend report as well but charm bracelets and charm necklaces are really having a moment it's in the same vein as bag charms and it's just a really fun way to add personality to elevate your look and it's also very sentimental because a lot of us have pieces and charms that we may have been collecting over the years and it's about restyling them in our jewelry to make it that bit more interesting I picked up the most beautiful mixed metal charm bracelet from Monica Viner they sell their own pendant charms as well but you can also find your own and add them to it we're going to see more charm bracelets than ever before more kind of statement charm necklaces we're also going to be seeing those longer necklaces with kind of little charms or pendants on them we are also seeing the huge return of Bangles so chunky Bangles mixed Bangles all together mixes of gold and silver like chunky resin Bangles stacked up the arm I particularly love the resin Bangles in kind of earthy tones or like deep burgundies Browns Reds kind of creams it's a really easy way to elevate a really simple outfit especially for the evening time a beautiful maxi skirt and tank top and then you're just throwing on a few gorgeous Bangles it just looks so Chic we're seeing a lot of classic French hair pins which again are such an affordable thing that you can pick up either on the High Street you can get them on Amazon beautiful like French twist style hairstyles with a French pin or like those double pins worn with a beautiful oversized cozy knit it's just screams automnal Chic I love it and then quickly touching on Footwear so as I mentioned we are seeing the Western influence in our Footwear we're seeing nods to Western elements as well as we're seeing like the full-on cowboy boot and there are so many beautiful versions of suede boots and like suede knee high boots suede shorter boots on the High Street but what I'm also noticing is we are really seeing the return of the wedge style boot now we saw this in spring summer it was on the runways at the likes of Chloe and we kind of knew it was coming back but really for Autumn winter we are seeing the return of the chunky kind of slouchy wedge and I love this because for me this is so nostalgic to my early blogging years back when I had a fashion blog and we all used to upload our outfits on lookbook and blog spot I had these amazing like wedge ankle boots from Sam Edelman they were a take on the Balenciaga harness boots and I absolutely loved them and that silhouette definitely went away for a while but we can see that it is back with a bang for Autumn winter and I personally love it I think we're going to be seeing those Styles come out on the High Street so much we are already seeing it on the likes of H&M River Island they are bringing out their kind of pointed like wedge ankle boots and I for one I'm here for it finally in terms of Footwear we are seeing the continuous of the dainty elegant flat it is going nowhere and it was a huge part of the trend reports for spring summer the classic ballet flat we're seeing like pointed Flats dainty Flats we're also seeing like the Slimmer loafers these have been so popular for honestly the past like year and a half two years and they are not going anywhere they are still big news for Autumn winter which is great because the ones that I picked up I have been wearing constantly and I have no plans to stop anytime soon so there you have it guys that is a
