but listen let's go back to last night it was big a big night for women in the music industry it was the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards or the VMAs last night it was a big night also on the red carpet which we always love we saw so many original looks why don't we start with the Queen of Pop right now Taylor swi thigh high boots cut out gloves we also have Lisa from black pink she's gone solo looking Regal in a veil and fores she's a goddess also Chapel rone she's huge right now uh she channeled her inner Joon of Arc uh for this look as well she also won best new artists last night um TR Trevor we're naturally GNA start with you why why would our writer say that naturally we're gonna start with you fashion start F start with you did you have a standout look last night uh I did uh I was asked by The Producers to pick a standout look and I did I went I went with Teddy swims uh yeah uh you know a lot of lovely ladies at the event but so few of the guys took fashion risks at the show uh you know pretty much him and little nzx are the only ones that tried something different and uh got to give it up to a fellow large man who uh I would you could do this I like the good I like the good uh oversized trench coat uh hearkening back to my Kevin Smith fandom yeah you know good looking good for a big guy to take some fashion risks and accented them nicely with his John lennin inspired circular Shades and a lot going on in his mouth he's got a whole story going on in his mouth but I love it storying he's storytelling any level there's pretty much a Nela written on his chest that's right so good really great look um all right so for for me last night when I saw her I actually had to shake my head because I saw and loved Canadian tapate McCrae hit the red carpet in the see-through black lace number which was very revealing and at first I was just like beautiful but I was like no this is very familiar I'm having Deja Vu oh wait the 2001 VMAs with the Queen of Pop back then Britney Spear so the two of them have constantly I mean um T Tate has been compared to Britney since the day she released her first song her song greedy has been on the Billboard charts forever she's doing huge things she was on our show not too long ago so she's finally leaned into the comparison and instead trying to separate herself from Britney she's like okay fine I look like Britney let's do the dress um and that 2001 look if that looked familiar that was the famous I'm a Slave for You performance at the VMA what an iconic with the snake that iconic performance so finally Tate's like okay fine if you're going to compare me to her I'm okay with it she look fabulous I feel like there were a lot of callbacks to like previous VMA Fashions and including my pick who was Addison Ray I think she just looked like she had so much fun on this carpet she's channeling her video for her song Diet Pepsi and obviously she's channeling Madonna H remember 1984 vm's Madonna's allwhite lingerie look um this see very similar very similar um she's also channeling like a Vegas show girl and she's just channeling fun she had so much fun posing on that red carpet and does the padding in that bra I don't know if you can see it but that's maybe why no one's clapping um but the padding of the bra is one comment commenter mentioned it kind of looks like the padding is undergoing a mammogram yes yes I can see that as well but I can look past that because this woman is just she's living to her true character she's an effervescent you know just fun uh put it all out there we're laughing over here we're laughing a little bit she's having reminds me of the Victoria Secret Angel camp but a little bit of a com twist it's very intentional like I think that those are little pillows I would hope so boob pillows pillows I think they are if anybody's wondering Addison Ray is one of the most followed people on Tik Tok I think she's got something like 300 million followers and she's crossed over into music I think she just forgot her pants though so well a lot of people at this awards show forgot their pants it's a thing including Megan the stallion who galloped in in this outfit I loved it I think she looks like a Barbie doll it's this corseted bodice this mesh see-through body con the whole dress you do because you need to go down cuz there's this trumpet sort of skirt that collects it so she begs the question how did she walk you notice that every other b-roll that we showed people were walking in I don't know if they just dropped her there she emerged from the the she's got the wheel shoes on under got wheel shoes they just wheeled her out they pushed her out I don't know how she walked but she killed it she looks gorgeous you know stunning hey you come a bit closer we've got so many more musty interviews spicy debates lifestyle tips and pop culture moments so subscribe to our Channel by tapping the logo below and don't miss out
