man Dallas were another team one of the many many teams that a uh that basically have tried to do absolutely everything humanly possible to stop Caitlyn Clark and it didn't work it didn't work they tried to do everything in that they humanly that was humanly possible to stop her they couldn't and if you guys saw the way Dallas played defense I know fever put up Indiana put up 100 on them is the best I've ever seen Dallas play defense like Dallas chose have chosen not to play defense they have chosen not to play defense and this time around they chose to play defense JC Sheldon and by the way if you want to look at JC Sheldon's minutes 10 19 23 I know she played 37 that game but her minutes were going down uzen was playing more minutes she played 2 minutes she had played 31 the previous game had 11 21 she had 11 and a win against Dallas but you want to know or against Minnesota but you know why she wasn't on the floor because she couldn't full court press Caitlyn Clark JC Sheldon is a person who was in the same conference as Caitlyn Clark in college played Caitlin Clark multiple times actually had people argue in college that JC Sheldon was the best player in her conference because of what she did on the defensive end and the offensive end she was the fifth pick in the draft mostly because she was just solid and yeah she had eight points today she full core pressed I I'm so impressed with JC Sheldon outside of D Carrington and Ben Jalan she is being the third best defender that I have seen on Caitlyn Clark this year she was just a pest from start to finish full core are basically allowing Kelsey Mitchell to shoot open shots and have open drives and get open fast break LPS because they're trying to stop this number 22 right here and you can't you can't Kim mky said it Kim M said it and it's like you actually just can't it's not even just about stopping her it's about stopping the team when she's on the floor and that's what Paige Beckers when she was asked how do you stop her and it's like you can't that was the answer from Paige Beckers was you can't they're like you can try to take away her passing or you can try to take away her scoring you can't stop Caitlyn Clark and there are players that have made it tough and I think Caitlyn Clark has struggled a little bit with physical quick Defenders that sometimes maybe get a bit of the benefit of the whistle like d Carrington I will say in the final I thought Raven Johnson did a great job but I think Caitlin was just exhausted I don't think there was any benefit of whistle there I think Raven Johnson just did a great job on her she was just exhausted but they did everything in their power every single Drive they collapsed they collapsed on every drive from the fever and they couldn't stop it their defense was we are going to try and let anyone but Kate and Clark beat us and it didn't it didn't work it really didn't work and I thought she had a very very solid game plan I think she had a solid um solid game plan but like it just wasn't enough and you can see that these teams are scare like klon Clark scares the beeses out of these teams and you obviously know that she scares the PES out of these teams when they're leaving Kelsey Mitchell like you just can't stop them and by them I mean cait Clark and Kelsey Mitchell you can't you can't stop them and the fever of chose have made or the wings chose like most teams have chose to do to full cor press her the whole game mean if you let Caitlyn Clark control the game like she did the last time they did not full core press Caitlyn Clark the last time do you know what Caitlyn Clark did the last time she played against this team she set the alltime WNBA assist record and aiyah Boston set her career high they were not going to let that happen they made sure as hell that Caitlyn Clark was not going to be the one to take over and win this game she only just had 28 points and off the back of 31 she is averaging 29 and 12 in her last two games yeah she had a few turnovers and I think that was all due to JC Sheldon but how long until someone gives the Haley vanet shrug like what am I supposed to do like it's now getting to that stage where it's like genuinely what are some of these players supposed to do when they're playing against Caitlyn Clark like what are they actually meant to do and I feel sorry for I feel sorry for the Wings coach the Wings coach is getting killed on social media I feel sorry for JC Sheldon because I've not seen a player be as just annoying pest not leaving cait CL every time Caitlin Clark had didn't have the ball in her hand JC Sheldon was stuck to her like glue I've never seen somebody for 37 minutes take the challenge of I am just going to Shadow one player as well as JC Sheldon did but it wasn't good enough they freaking shadowed her for the entire game they collapsed on every drive from malyah Boston they collapsed on every Caitlin Clark Drive every Kelsey Mitchell Drive and it's just not enough they played defense they actually tried on defense which is something that I have not seen this team do in a long time the fact the fever just were too good scoring wise they were just too good and this fever team are scary they are so scary because you cannot there's nothing you can do to stop this team right now because of number 22 like you can stop the person you can't stop the idea if you go if you try too hard to stop K and Clark cool let's just push the floor and Kelsey Mitchell she's Kay's fine with not shooting the ball for four minut letting Kelsey go get hers she's fine with letting Leah Boston playm she's fine without even getting assists she's fine at times just standing on the perimeter and letting the game go four on four she trust her teammates but then the team are now scoring in those scenarios so you can't you can't do that and you just can't they're trying everything I cannot knock teams for trying they are trying everything to stop Caitlyn Clark they're throw we saw Nate tibits throw in 17 different junk zones we've seen everything you can possibly throw at a team in a basketball game we have seen be thrown at the Indiana Fever and you just can't stop them you just cannot stop them and as um Theresa wpo said the head of the snake is Caitlyn Clark as Rebecca Lobo said Kaitlyn Clark just liter just gets the ball to people in positions they're more comfortable that she will make everything easier for everybody and this is the reason why Kon Clark is was so good in college and this is why people thought yeah there's better Defenders but when she plays with better players and started here people were like man the Iowa player like Iowa players could do better and I actually simultaneously agree and disagree with that I think the Iowa players playing that style I think this is a style of play that if you get the right players is Unstoppable like I'm sorry imagine if Kate Martin is in there instead of ktie L Samson plays more defense runs and backs up Lexi Hull she's getting dmps go go get Kate Martin if you can add a Kate Martin or you can just find players with high Motors to put into this team this is CH this might they're not going to win the championship this year they might they're not probably not going to I can but I can I don't think there's going to be another team favored next year and I don't see how Caitlyn Clark is not the favor for MVP next year not going be this year but I don't see anyone saying by the way K Clark is not all WNBA first team is crazy as well
