Allison Hulker the Widow of DJ Steven twitch boss recently sat down on the squeeze Taylor lner's podcast with his wife and revealed some new details about what led to her husband's shocking demise on December 13 2022 and it's interesting CU I know him as stepen yeah a lot of people knew him as twitch yeah very two different humans um he wore this character of twitch and it it it did become a part of who he was but that extroverted personality was not natural for him fans worldwide were taken back on December 14th 2022 when it was reported that the previous day DJ twitch had been found on the bathroom floor of a motel less than a mile away from the home he shared with his wife and three children according to one of the shortest investigations on record since the case was closed the same day that news outlets reported that he was gone they found a self-inflicted GS wound to his head Steven had reportedly called the motel Monday December 12th at 9:20 a.m. to see if there were any vacancies then leaving his car at home depending on which report you read he either took an Uber to the motel or walked the less than 15 minutes it took to get from his home to the motel with his phone in airplane mode to prevent being tracked he arrived at 10:30 that same morning and calmly checked into room 249 and never came out the next morning Tuesday December 13th after Steven's extremely outof character behavior of leaving their home without a word not answering or returning any of her calls staying away overnight and leaving his car Allison frantically ran to the police station where she explained the situation and informed officers that the couple hadn't argued police then went back to the family's home and did a brief search for Clues but soon after they arrived police received word that a 911 call had come from a nearby Motel where a housekeeper had entered motel room 249 to do a welfare check since their guest was 15 minutes late for checkout upon entering the room she discovered the guest belongings still there and when she checked the bathroom She Came Upon a pretty bad scene where she discovered DJ twitch on the floor with red everywhere the news hit the media the next day December 14th with several outlets reporting that DJ twitch was gone from a self-inflicted GS wound to the head and Alice released a statement confirming that Steven had left us LAPD closed the case the same day and that Hasty treatment was something that did not sit well with a lot of fans worldwide and more specifically the man who helped raise him his grandfather whom DJ twitch referred to as dad dad in an interview with Daily Mail published on December 14th 2022 twitch's Granddad said that he was still not sure that twitch's wound was self-inflicted because when he spoke with twitch just a few days before on Saturday December 10th which happened to be Steph and Allison's 9th wedding anniversary he said that there was no indication that anything was out of the ordinary that twitch was the same happy person he's always been these words echoed the sentiments that a lot of the fans who had come to love twitch from his years as a contestant and then judge until about a man who brought so much joy and happiness to others through not just his Innovative dance moves but also his encouraging words telling and showing others to never give up it made no sense that a man like that would be responsible for his own end amazingly just two days after his grandfather expressed his doubts media Outlets reported on December 16th 2022 that a note had been found indicating that he couldn't go on anymore and which mentioned vague past challenges a note whose details have never been revealed apparently not even to his grandfather mother and brothers who refused to sign an NDA after his passing LAPD investigators reportedly said that this note is what led them to rule the case closed as self-inflicted in just one day even before the toxicology report had come back and then when 5 months later in May of 2023 the medical examiner released the final report that stated not only were there no substances or alcohol found in his system but the report also detailed that Steven was found on the bathroom floor of the motel with only a towel around his shoulders while his clothes were discovered neatly folded next to his laptop and notebooks on a table in the room now while the report mentioned Steven's belongings in the room it never mentioned the item that led to twitch's head wound which left even more questions if this was self-inflicted where was the chief and based on the other notes from the investigation Why did no one hear any sounds when the motel was busy enough to have several guests the report also included a note from investigators that according to his wife they weren't having any marital or financial problems and DJ twitch did not have any mental health issues or ideations something which Allison even doubled down on in her got home he had to recharge his batteries that he would be in a depression where he asked for space to reset so she would give him time to live in that dark place I know him as Steven yeah a lot of he would go out as twitch and and make sure he's spreading all this love and joy and positivity and be dancing all the time for people and an Entertainer yeah and such it would it would drain his energy so he'd come home and have to like really recharge his battery yeah um and when you're saying recharge your battery that also comes with the state of depression because you get really low yep and you had to to let him have that space to really kind of find himself in like in a darker space let him live in that he would always find his way out though she even stated that the last year before he left she started to notice the cracks in the window and that everyone saw it to where they would ask if he was okay he began to need sleep constantly but was also an insomniac to the point where he would have to take a nap in the day and he began to appear sad these statements certainly paint a different picture of DJ twitch than what he portrayed himself as to his mother Brothers grandfather friends and fans for his 40 years on this Earth and they're definitely different than what Allison said immediately after his passing and even 5 months later are you surprised by these new
