was Lee a different type of director for you but what what was that experience like the the Lee Daniels experience I loved it I I loved it um I have to say and I hope you don't take this wrong that some people said you know he's crazy but for me that's a compliment y 100% because a lot of times when people in this business say somebody's crazy it means they don't suffer fools and it means they have a vision yes and it doesn't always go along with the crowd yeah so I love working with whoever people will I think people must think I'm crazy and I take it as a compliment so you know uh uh to work with Lee the thing that I loved and the thing about you said about we were playing I so agree with because I really believe if you're not playing as an actor you're in the wrong profession um but we would do a scene and it might be one of the tricky ones and Le would say okay everybody come on and we gather around the uh what is it called v v the monitor the Monitor and we we see the the play now there some ACT some directors would never do that cuz they they don't want to open themselves up to to what the the uh actors think you know um but Lee included all of us and what I loved about it it was such an active uh present uh uh creation and and we all were part of it and and you could say oh you know I think I could do that a little bit better you know I'd like to try that and somebody say yeah yeah yeah okay can I try that and they say yeah yeah and you could do this and so then you all go back on say yeah we're going to get it right this time or we're going to give him another you know another potential you know when he gets into the editing room it was for me it was one of the most inclusive creative challenging fun experiences of my career Wow Come on Le baby that's what crazy gets you okay okay let them know crazy get you that
