animated films and video games Ren's acting Journey began with his debut in the TV series combat in 1965 however he is perhaps best remembered for his iconic role as Splinter the wise and skilled Mentor in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series from 1987 to 1996 Ren's voice brought depth to this beloved character earning him widespread a claim his influence extended beyond
