WHAT IF EDGAR BERLANGA SHOCKS THE WORLD AND UPSETS CANELO?! 🥊🇵🇷🇲🇽

J for the inable true School sports let's go baby bow be careful what you wish for because because it can become a reality yeah the Untouchable true School sports Empire probably presents something the boxing games missing hey what's going on it's your boy BT and I came here to talk some boxing with the thousands of true School sports subscribers all right so we got to talk about some Canelo Edgar banga you know this is a big fight in boxing it's probably one of the biggest fights uh it might it is the biggest event and the biggest fight in September for the sport of boxing I I truly believe um you know Kel Alvarez obviously Big Ticket seller he moves the needle no matter who he fights right and then you got Edgar balanga a guy that's a polarizing figure a lot of people either love edger banga or haer banga and then you have the whole Mexico versus Puerto Rico dynamic as well so it's a really going to be it's going to be a pretty good event I'm really intrigued to see how it does selling wise cuz you know you got UFC UFC that same night here in Vegas f right down the street at the sphere and I love the sphere the sphere is an amazing venue right so it's going to be a lot of interesting things going on but you know a lot of people aren't giving edar banga a chance and anytime I even insinuate that he has even any semblance of a chance right I get laughed at people say BT you're crazy but you know this video right here and and I'm going to talk about it this video is going to be about what if what if Edgar bonga actually does do it what if he does upset Canelo Alvarez what if he does the unthinkable because you know while he hasn't looked great let's be honest Patrick mccy wasn't a highly regarded opponent and he stopped him in six rounds but before that he hadn't necessarily been lighting the world on fire against the guys like Angulo and quickly and these kind of Fighters right so with that being said um you know Edgar belanga can really punch we all know that we all know he can punch I think anybody anybody who disregards the punching power edab bonga is a [ __ ] I'm going to say it like that if you don't if you think edab banga can't punch you're [ __ ] that's the one that's one of the main things he's bringing to this fight is his punching power um now having power is one thing being able to land it is another and we know Canelo Alvarez um you know in the pocket uh one of the most slickest fighters in boxing today no doubt about it um one thing I do think Ed has going for him in this fight like many Canelo opponents but they don't really know how to exploit it he's got a pretty good height and reach Advantage you know he's 6' one um canelo's only not even 5'8 so he going he's got was that 3 four five inches something like that pretty good size Advantage um has a 2 and a half inch reach Advantage Dam near three inches on Canelo 73 to 70 and a half so there's things there's there's a path to Victory here for banga and listen I know he's not as skillful as bivel nor is he as skillful as Floyd that much we know that much for sure but is he skilled enough the question the question for belonga to get this win against K to do the unthinkable is does he have enough skill to land the shots he needs to land to really and truthfully like push Keno back and make him uncomfortable that's the real question here because high mongia right when we talk about guys High mongia you know ha mongia people will probably regard him high than Eder banga because he has a he has a more more wins he's been at the top level longer than edar banga but I I stylistically speaking I don't think ha mongia has the Firepower and when I say Firepower I mean that that that fight changing punching power that could really make an opponent have to rethink their strategy he doesn't have that with him he's got accumulative power meaning that he needs to land many punches at once to break you down get you tired that's the kind of fighter he is and that's the kind of he's always been right and against canel Alvarez canel Alvarez with his IQ being so high he's not he was never never going to um stop Canelo or do any of that it was always a bad fight for H mongia where bonga has an advantages is banga see if you listen to his interviews you got you gota really listen and study it a fighter right cuz anybody you talk to I I I I have friends I have friends um like for example shout out to my boy Marco boss I've got like him and I got people I got people in New York that watch Edgar fighting the amateurs and i' I've heard the story about Edgar as amateur where they say that Edgar was not a a a a destructive com forward fighter he was more of a a boxer right um but then you know he was with and that's when he that's when he was with his coach Mark Fay who who he's with now then he went to Andre roier and he became more of a slugger you know developed more of punching power more of a come forward aggressive style and that's what that's what really got him made him somewhat of a a name in boxing in the first place was the first rout knockout streak but then it you know came to a halt when he started fighting more veteran more Savvy guys that could take him the distance and were crafty and knew how to survive and knew how to counter punch and just brought more to the table so he's kind of had to do everything in reverse he he kind of had the the hype of a of a championship L fighter then he kind of had to do his Prospect stuff in Reverse learning on the job and now he's taking a what I would say to be um a Mount Everest size Step Up in class you know you're going from Patrick mcroy you're going from Angulo quickley Patrick mcroy to canel Alvarez it's a big step up in class but Styles make fights um and I think there is a pass victory for EG long I think you know he can box a little bit not the best at fainting I I hope that if if there's one thing that I hope he brings into this fight that that him and his coach his his Co his esteem coach Mark Fay have been working on I would hope it would be a lot of lead uh probes with the jab I would hope will be a lot of faints you know punching off the faints these are the kind of things I'm looking for and these are the kind of things I think Ed belong needs to do to to have a chance to beat Canelo but we you have to ask yourself what kind of fighter is Canelo a and what has he exhibited himself to be as a you know over his last couple fights at 168 look at the fights against you know bival look at the fights against Mia Charlo John Ryder Canelo a has has been a guy that has been in your chest he's been a guy that likes to load up on his punches uh if you look at the back half of the Golovkin fight he was a guy that faded down the stretch of that fight canel Alvarez is a great fighter and one day he will have his his rightful place in cannesota as Hall of Famer but make no if make no ants or butts about it no quals let there be no qus about it he is still a fighter that likes to fight in Spurs and he is a guy that you can bank and win rounds against you see what I'm saying so that being said these first couple rounds for Eda bonga are going to be very very key I think he's going have to first and foremost he's have to establish his range he's going to have to keep a nice lead leftand probe some faints you know definitely a jab definitely a right hand if he could drop it in there and find a home for it the quicker he's able to establish range and get to his power punches the P of chance he has to win this fight um if he can't the longer it takes to do that do that the quicker it is going to be a Canelo like you know runaway Victory like everybody thinks but I don't I'm not ruling him out I think um if Canelo does what if Canelo listens to you guys and he underestimate edger bonga at all he could get his block knocked off honestly cuz Edgar has that kind of Pop I would even say like if you look at Edgar longa punching power he is one of the hardest punchers canelo's ever fought um you know Golovkin all credit to him a great knockout machine but when he fought Canelo Alvarez you know this is a guy that became more technical fighter in those fights um I don't think egar banga I think Edgar malonga is going to be a technical fighter but I do think he's going to put some heat behind them punches and I do think he's going to try I don't know you know I don't I don't think he's going to win I'm not picking him but I think he's going to try to uh hurt Canelo Alvarez and that's more than I can say for a lot of Canelo opponents because I mean you look at a lot of the guys he's fought in you know especially his last couple fights um M I think tried he just wasn't good enough Charlo didn't try John R don't have that kind of Pop um and by the way in the John Ryder fight he um Canelo got his nose busted up and was was was gassing out a bit in the back half of that fight Golovkin gassing out in the back half of that fight you listen you guys know you already know what bigball did to him exposed so there's a Pathway to Victory here for Edgar belanga um and I'm I'm looking forward to seeing how he handles the the bright lights the big stage um and if he wins let's talk about that if Edgar bonga is to do the unthinkable which is upset Canelo Alvarez then all of a sudden he goes from being a guy a polarizing figure that a lot of people in boxing you know do look at a lot of people do look at egg bonga as a joke not me but same boxing fans they're takeing him as a joke he goes from that to being quite possibly and and I I wouldn't even say quite possi I would say he would he beats kenel lavarez he becomes the biggest Puerto Rican fighter in boxing since Miguel Cotto and I know this's this debate about whether he's really Puerto Rican or not cuz he's a New York Rican he's not a Puerto Rican but listen he's got Puerto Rican Heritage he's got Puerto Rican fans he's got a fan base and a lot of them Mar Puerto Rican i' I've seen it myself I'm gone to his fight so um I'm not ruling I'm not I'm not riding them off I think this uh this is a fight Canelo definitely should win cuz he's the more experienced skilled fighter but he's also older fighter who does have stamina problems at times does fight in spirits does become overly reliant on his power and at the end of the day he is fighting somebody who's 27 years old who's got a reach Advantage who can who really does have fight changing punching power and he's got to be very sharp in this fight cuz if he's not I I think this could be a trap fight for Canelo and I think if Ed if edar belonga wins this this could be the most this it will be the upset of the year and I think it would be the most significant win in Puerto Rican boxing and I don't know you guys tell me well if Ed belonga beat karez in the comments let me let me know guys what's the most significant win that Puerto Rican boxes had before this one because um he would become an instant Superstar overnight you know Canelo Alvarez has never lost to a Puerto Rican fighter he'd be the first and the only fighter to beat Canelo Alvarez and um I think at that point if Canelo L to edger banga you might you might even get a retirement out of him and and that could be it so um look don't underestimate banga you know he's got 17 Knockouts in 22 fights um he had 16 in the first round you know and look crazy enough right crazy enough and I'm going end the video on this note but even in that everybody everybody lik to focus on that five fight stretch where he wasn't getting Knockouts um you know in the fight against what was it quickley you know quickley durable guy Savvy guy I know he's a guy that Demetrius Andre knocked out like what was it one or two rounds but he dropped Quigley multiple times in that fight when he when he fought andulo he had andulo you know Buzz and hurt a couple times andul a very tough durable guy um you know a lot of these guys even the guys he's not stopping were good veteran Fighters that he was getting their attention when he was hitting them you know in the coetta fight he tore his biceps so I'm not making excuses for him but I'm just telling you guys to to discredit and just to complete a discount and ride off edar banga and not at least give him at least like I'm giving him a small chance I'm giving him a chance I think I think if uh if he's able to exploit that reach advantage and and maybe outw work Canelo on some of these rounds and and land some big shots there's a there's a a couple passive victory for him and I just think it's a better fight Than People realize at this moment in time but uh we shall see this video will either age very very well or it'll age quite quite poorly so we'll
