The USMNT road to Qatar 2022 | Full Schedule and Predictions!

all right the World Cup qualifying is around the Horizon you know and it's fair for some of us to be a little worried after 2017 and that disastrous game against Trinidad and not make it into the World Cup and blah blah blah look look look look look This Time It's Different and there's a couple reasons why is it different along with the fact that we're just better than we were and we're probably the kings of concacaf now so we're gonna make it to the World Cup but in this video we're gonna dive into the schedule and I'll be giving you my prediction the pessimistic prediction of a worst case scenario per camp and the total amount of points and I'll give you my prediction of a realistic scenario how much how many points I think we're gonna make throughout qualifying now I was also gonna do an optimistic one but unfortunately after I did the optimistic one I had us winning every single game and the issue of that is it was no longer optimistic it was just deluded so we won't be doing that one plus I think the pessimistic and realistic is the range of points where the US Men's National Team will be throughout qualifiers so now if you kindly could make sure to hit that like out on our content now look we will be doing in August the full preview for The World Cup qualifying so I will be talking about all eight Nations on this video we're going to focus mostly just on the US Men's National Team so I've been talking a little bit too much at this point so let's talk about the World Cup qualifying the work of qualifying set to take place in September of 2021 all the way till March of 2022. for this time around we will have eight Nations rather than six nations like the last final round Edition and don't worry we'll be doing a full preview of all the nations in August not now today is about the US Men's National Team look and having eight Nations rather than six it actually benefits the US Men's National Team quite a bit where a higher quality when it comes to depth chart and Technical ability everything so usually when you have more games the best team takes advantage of that for example a league of 38 games like the Premier League usually the best team will win not every time but most of the time because there's more room to make small mistakes higher quality more games advantage to the best team throughout that period of time we will have a total of five camps where four of them will have three rounds which is essentially three matches and one of them will have two rounds so eighty percent of the camps will have three matches so the USM and T will have a total of 14 matches to make it to Qatar seven home and seven away these three match camps will require a lot of depth because you will have three games in the span of a week so you will have to rotate players before we start the prediction per Camp let me address one thing real quick after doing a few simulations and looking at past performances it's safe to assume that 21 points in the final round is enough for us to make it to Qatar I know it's more than last Edition but there's more teams so 21 points it might be a little less it might be a little bit more but if we can reach 21 points we should be good to make it to Qatar in 2022 so now let's go to the prediction per camp and calculate how many points I think we'll make or at least the range and while we're at it make sure to comment your prediction as well how many points do you have the US Men's National Team getting on the World Cup qualifying Qatar so let's go to Camp number one Camp number one will be played in September of 2021 and it will have three rounds on September 2nd we play El Salvador at El Salvador September 5th we play Canada at the United States and September 8th we'll be playing Honduras at Honduras realistically I expect us to get seven points out of this first Camp I fully expect this to beat El Salvador despite being away I fully expect us to beat Canada in the United States and then I'll give the benefit of the doubt of Honduras at Honduras after what I've seen in Nations League I think Honduras is most certainly capable of getting a draw at least with us and we could be a little fatigued for the third game so I say a draw so realistically seven points now the pessimistic scenario we get six points out of this Camp losing to Honduras away I don't expect us to lose to Canada or El Salvador so let's just recap realistically seven pessimistic six let's go to Camp number two Camp number two will be in October and it also has three rounds so October 7th we will play Jamaica in the United States 8 October 10th we will play Panama at Panama in October 13th we'll be playing Costa Rica at the United States realistically here I expect this to get seven points out of it as well we should be able to beat Panama regardless of it being on the road or not we should be able to at least beat or tie Jamaica in Costa Rica at home as well so I think seven points is very realistic now the pessimistic one is four points we beat Panama as I fully expect we lose to Costa Rico Jamaica and we tie the other one so we get four points out of it with that our realistic scenario right now has 14 points already in our pessimistic scenario has 10 points now let's move on to Camp number three okay Camp number three and if you haven't already by now make sure to hit that like button and Camp number three November we will have two rounds November 12th we will be playing Mexico in the United States in Jamaica at Jamaica and this is a very very tough Camp so Jamaica is expected to get all these British dual Nationals unless their Federation keeps lying to everyone which I think eventually they'll just stop and they'll get a bunch of these doing that I think Michael Antonio's committed at this point at the Times recording and many other Duo Nationals and the team is looking good and it's not easy to play Jamaica at Jamaica what I'm gonna go with the realistic scenario here is three points I think we get three points out of this camp we will beat one of them Mexico Jamaica and lose to the other one I would love to see us get four points out of this camp but being realistic I think three points is reasonable now the pessimistic one is we lose both games we lose to Mexico in the United States and we lose to Jamaica on the road I think that can happen as well so pessimistic zero realistic three so updating our point system right now on the realistic one we have 17 points on the pessimistic one we have 10 points all right now Camp number four which also has three rounds it's well almost all of them have three rounds and it will be played in January and February so Camp number four we are gonna play on the 27th of January El Salvador in the United States on the 30th of January we'll play Canada at Canada in February 2nd we'll be facing Honduras in the United States and look realistically I think we should get nine points out of this Camp right so El Salvador in the United States is a must win Canada at Canada look playing in Canada is not going to be like playing Central America the fields won't be as bad it won't be as hostile the environment won't be that crazy of a game so we should be able to beat Canada as well now playing Honduras in the United States is a tricky game but we should be able to pull a win there as well and I'm saying as well so many times now that's the realistic scenario I think nine points is pretty reasonable the pessimistic scenario we get seven points out of it we beat El Salvador we beat Canada and Honduras manages to pull a draw with us which they almost did in Nations League well they very closely did so updating our table right now is realistically we would have 26 points by now this is the fourth Camp which is the second to last and the pessimistic scenario we would have 17 points so realistically we would probably be qualified by the end of Camp number four now the pessimistic scenario we arrive at Camp number five still needing points to qualify so remember 21 points should be enough now let's go to the final camp Camp number five will be taking place in March of 2022 and that's the last Camp World Cup qualifying and it's not an easy one to be fair we play Mexico March 24th at Mexico then we play Panama in the United States and we play Costa Rica at Costa Rica realistically I would see us coming out with six points in this Camp yes I think we could lose to Mexico at Mexico but still beat Panama and still beat Costa Rica especially because I think by then I think actually Costa Rica won't make it to the World Cup and by then they might even be eliminated now the pessimistic scenario is we lose to Mexico we beat Panama and then we tie Costa Rica on the road which would be four points so realistically six pessimistic four so our final table would look like this our final table score of points for the US Men's National Team our range would be realistically I think we'll reach 32 points which we would qualify with a lot of ease the pessimistic scenario 21 points which we should still qualify and that's the range I think will be 21 points to 32. I want you guys to comment yours down below as well you're pessimistic and realistic one I like to know your range to see if I'm not too crazy if I'm not too optimistic too pessimistic we'll see now look look look look a lot of you not the usmt fans but maybe dl3 fans the Jamaicans the reggae boys a lot of you are going to say maybe I rigged the pessimistic one to get 21 points I did not as I showed you I talked about each single game of why I think we'll get that amount of points and realistically and pessimistically we should make it to Qatar 2022 why there's more games so there's more room to make mistakes our team is a lot better than 2017 2016. we all know that so I fully expect us to make it to Qatar 2020.
