out hello everyone from Chelsea fan TV my name is Alex I'm outside the molu we just beat wolves 62 I was stood with you here last year Charlie it was Christmas Eve I had a pissed off girlfriend that didn't want to be here but she was here cuz she was helping me out with the fan cams and she is helping me again shout out to Rachel um and we were wearing Christmas hats wondering what the hell are we doing watching this and it seems like in a short space I mean we did beat sevette it wasn't convincing you could say a lot of different things today I mean I've never seen so many happy Chelsea fans man there a lot of positives today six goals I don't remember the last time we scored six goals in the game was um but yeah really positive going forwards um so much quality so much attacking threet particularly second half it felt like every time we were going forwards we were going to score um I think if we're going to slightly say a little couple of little concerns getting them out of the way at the beginning first half we were so open in Midfield defensively at set pieces poor again um I think both goals we considered were from set plays or balls into the box that that's that's not ideal that needs to be improved upon uh but second half we definitely tightened up um and we've got so much quality in the attacking areas so much quality it was a joy to watch yesterday mate and I I I can't remember the last time I said said that it was like a joy to watch Chelsea because there's not been that many occasions mate Palmer goal and three assists ridiculous little lobbed finish madek after saying that everything about wolves is then turns up and dunks on him and then dunks on him with a hat trick himself it was going to Happ M you can't post that and then turn up and have an absolute disaster class he he does that tells them that their their home is and then he comes and scores three goals and and ruins their afternoon so they pretty much a perfect afternoon for us uh pretty much perfect Jackson on the score sheet uh Al Felix coming back gets on the score sheet as well mate yeah I don't know what else to say you know it was perfect really bar bar the two goals we conceded but you know people that say oh Chelsea got no plan are they just buying all these players or where are they going to play but you can see there's so much attacking talent in this team Palmer you know in kungu Felix Netto Mada um you know in kungu madri etc etc like there's like we're not going to struggle to score goals we are absolutely not going to struggle to score goals um I still a little bit worried about us in in in the Transitions and whatnot um but yeah this was a brilliant performance today and this is a result that we desperately desperately needed because obviously we lost the first game to City we weren't particularly convincing against surve and even though this is the second game of the season in the league we have a really record here that was our first win here since 2019 under Frank when we won 5-2 so we rock up with Moresco and get a six2 this was a big test of our credentials you know the fans were booing most of the most of our players um and you know we we stood up and we account and and we know we we came through and we we sha in the end because you know we could have easily folded you know go go ahead just just on halftime then standard conceded goal pretty much straight away we could have come out in that second half and folded but instead we came out Renewed Energy went again and we were absolutely brilliant going forwards I mean we haven't won here in five years before today what do you think was the Catalyst behind the win I mean we speak about attacking quality is this just down to Quality or is does mentality or Tactics come into it I think maybe a little bit of everything but I think it was ultimately down to Quality today because you know we got into those positions and the big thing for me is we were clinical with our chances today pretty much every chance we had in that second half we pretty much scored them you know met with his with his three goals pretty much every chance he had he stuck it in the back of the net really important because non has struggled with his with his end product let's make no mistake about it he has struggled with his end products at times but that was brilliant today absolutely super and it would be one of the most stupid things we've done in recent times if if an offer comes in for him you know in in the last few days of the window and and we decide to sell him so we absolutely cannot do that but clinical was was was was the word I would use we know we create chances but it's just whether we're going to put them in the back of the net or we're not going to put them in today we put them in everyone was was brilliant uh Felix with a great finish his goal set up by Netto a little Portuguese connection there on his return to wolves um yeah M this everything clicked today particularly in that second half but let's be real we can't just suddenly go oh you know this mes is amazing this system's amazing it was a brilliant performance today there'll be tougher tests and we need to push on Thursday night away in serbet next weekend against Palace and whatnot we need to make sure that this counts no point winning this game and then not beating Palace next weekend then kind of slit slipping up so we we we enjoy this fantastic you know fans everyone's really happy um and we've got to try and use this as as as a momentum and bit of a springboard because it's no it's no good just picking up these results in isolation I mean where do you see uh the center back pairing if you were to pick your favorite center backs to start for Chelsea I mean is faer in that category is cwell do you maybe bring tossing in because he had a good performance uh on Thursday I think it probably is what we saw today um like I'm not particularly sort of seeing anything from from tossin or or bad a shield or or the sassu that thinks that actually know what they're going to be they're better than colewell and fana they're not really despite all the center backs we signed recently there's not an awful lot of quality in in that back line I think bad Shield's fallen off quite a lot The Sassy is not really it tosen you know I'm not really sure why we signed him probably only because he was on a free um so maybe Center back's an area that we might have to look at I mean if only we had someone on our books that was half decent that we could maybe stick in just just a just a suggestion M I mean you know what if he would have won trophies maybe young English those are the kind of credentials we need right yeah yeah exactly mate I mean versatile versatile yeah if only we had someone but you know it is what it is club club have decided you know he's not part of the plans and and that's that you know it's obviously not going to change but you can't tell me that he's obviously not any better than not any you know he's not worse than what we've got he he absolutely isn't so yeah it is what it is on that one but maybe we could look at a center back I think we could maybe do with a bit more depth there a bit more quality in depth because I'm just not con not convinced about the other three uh but yeah overall mate such a positive afternoon real feel Good Vibes back again and you know that like this this group is a really likable group of players you know they're all together it's a young group once again you know I think well the oldest player on the pitch Sanchez 25 26 um a lot of them all like kind of 21 22 23 um you know there's exciting times ahead for the future absolutely exciting times for the future on on on this one so let's enjoy this but we've got to push on from here now you know we can't just let this be a one-off we have to push on and you know start stringing a run of results together a couple of tough games coming up now Palace Bournemouth away and then West H away as well this was a test of our credentials early on we've come through that let's see if we can continue to push forwards now you think we'll finish top four uh if if we play like that most weeks then yes but ultimately you know we need to kind of make sure that we have a bit more control of games and it's not like basketball type football because that that game was getting a little bit out of hand uh so we got to make sure we have more games where we got a bit more control of it thank you very much mate always a pleasure
