Fan grabs Steph Curry at Chengdu hotel arrival in China; hot pot, mah jongg, ping pong, De’Aaron Fox

what's up her dub Nation this is Rich with let's go Warriors and as you should know by now Steph Curry after spending a few days in New York is now in China so I recommend you check out our latest video on this his travels from New York City to China if you just go to our YouTube channel click on videos scroll down a bit you'll see that there but also some prerequisite video watching if you remember clay and Looney they were out in changdu China just a year ago and this is the video I'll put a link in the description as well as embed it into this video If you go to this video and click on the getting ears clean at 2556 you will see clay getting his ears cleaned in changu this will come up in the following video now let's take a look at just what step has been up to this is the official Curry brand slunder Armour poster showing the China tour you can see up here that the locations are blotted out I don't know why and I've actually asked some people they haven't gotten back to me about that in any case this was the scene at the St Regis Hotel now by the way I should add that this is going to be presented in sort of news reports style this is Steph Curry's official post reformatted to landscape this is on Steph's Instagram in case you don't have it yet we're going to watch this and then we're going to watch different angles that I was able to obtain this should get really interesting and give you a clue as to what the drama was on day one over there thing [Applause] do person who done this very Grand team [Applause] obviously hav't figured out who that was yet see the kid grabbing stuff there's Garren Fox here from Steph [Applause] another angle here traffic was really messed up according to people who posted about it on way an MVP and USFA chance all kinds of Warriors gear St Curry jerseys all over the place [Applause] obviously and another angle of that making it to the elevators here's the angle obviously from the left side see him get to the elevators I just thought it was kind of fun to watch all these different angles look at this guy right here I think he's a hotel worker I'm not sure but he's wearing a white bow tie and you know dressed up pretty formally looks like he's holding the [Applause] job and as you can see they made it to the elevator all right let's keep the cameras rolling [Applause] [Music] [Applause] here there's your grab you guys see that there's a grab his W [Applause] shirt nice little Curry for purple Coler there from G Boston nice little world champions hat there as well and there is a still shot of the grab this was actually taken by a guy on webo who kind of bragged about it so based on what I've read on webo this guy actually was proud of the fact that he grabbed Steph and a lot of Chinese fans were kind of upset by that the Chinese like to be you know polite and they're generally a reserved culture so this is a little out of character however the guy that did it he posted on webo and it turned out he's a LeBron James fan so they pointed that out they circled it and they outed him and he's got his own video of the and uh kind of bragged about it now here's a different angle see the guy from the bird ey upstairs up I don't know there's the I don't know if T of people uh you registered as guests at hotel but you will not see this in America I don't think and um a reminder in China you know it's pretty f a well speaking that aren [Applause] guns can't carry weapons in China relatively sa than anywhere else St inside the hotel after all of that craziness now the rest of the night Steph and dearen got a chance to meet zong way Lee MMA fighter Chinese MMA fighter hope I pronounced that right apologies if I didn't they got to eat hot pot and that's one of Steph's favorite meals do have any for fruit da I have no allergies that I know of so we don't want to find out tonight yeah I don't want to find out we don't want that they give you that uh that sauce right there that's after it's cooked that add a little okay a little more spice to it I'm going use the fork so I don't drop it in there I like it I love it like a crawfish boil a little bit yes take the the TR tip put pingpong I would pay money for that now there was a report of a drone catching Steph Curry here in his hotel room a little bit of an invasion of privacy so those were the two drama points from China yes I've experienced and I I enjoyed it so I'm trying to get some people on our team who hasn't experienced yet to do it for the [Music] first I have seen a Pand um only at a zoo though I have seen right very generous of Yousef to spend some of his time being the leaone between Steph and the fans as far as Steph going out to sign autographs it was a little crazy at certain times but somebody on weo did report that he came out to do some graphs at one point now this next segment you're going to see Steph and dearn fox setting up this time an official Q&A session that was filmed on day one and we have most of it for you so let's just sit back and enjoy this behind the scenes and then the actual Q&A this part right here doesn't have any sound but it is Steph and dearon fox getting ready to do a Q&A that's going to be in front of a camera this particular worker in that room happened get Steph's autograph and here is some more behind the scenes and then we'll roll right into the Q&A oh there it is who is here who has arrived can't wait to see everybody it would be like but because we're Chu it's like okay would be I'm trying to say this all same sentence every year and we will eventually I got you we will eventually meet again perfect we can read I am a fulltime tour guy in ch so I pick up people at the airport they trust you if you couldn't hear what Steph was saying and I had to replay this a couple times to really understand what was going on cuz it's a quick hit Chinese program the guy said that obviously he's a translator picks up people from the airport all the time and Steph goes they trust you we have here the queen of Chinese and a lot of the fans want to hear you guys speak in local dialect all right so now Steph is gonna try and speak some Chinese so is dearon fox and the reason they're doing this is because they're telling them that the Chinese people love to hear foreigners talk Chinese it's fun for for them to hear you know people mess up they get a kick out of it Daddy I'm actually not really familiar with that nickname for Steph but I I'll just assume that that is uh I am of Chinese descent I know a tiny bit of Mandarin so I understand some of this this was the Northeast easier is I am all right so the Chinese programs they like to put a little fart sound actually when uh somebody messes up and they have fun with that and it's funny now dearin messed up the certain dialect of saying I am and he he accidentally said an sh instead of so they're just having fun with that and then did I say right out of 10 out of 10 Z I have four pictures here of some spots in China if you could each of you choose one place and this oh of course right here City yeah I heard that they were here they're just working for 2 hours a day they just have to sleep go back you go to see Pand before uh I'm SE Pand not here San Diego so if you guys have any time definitely have see that it's one of the best experiences ever the Shan and Terra Cotta Warriors is good I knew you're going to choose this one how long ago was that 2,200 these are also from the cities you guys are going to be visiting which one of these are you guys looking forward to the most I'm I'm a hot you love spicy food I'm married I'm married to Jamaican learn I've never seen chicken rack the sh chicken rack north of China so this is very fast-paced Chinese program but Steph obviously uh referenced Aisha being Jamaican so he likes spicy food and he likes Hot [Music] Pot and we also heard that there are like some special relases for this tour the conu uh collection essentially with the curry tour starting with the the curry 12 we2 is your favorite Curry 4 it's kind of my favorite shoes to wear Curry nine that's one class Championship iconic and classic look to it so a lot of it is designed but it can also lock down I was walking in the streets with this yesterday and de she stuck me like where'd you get that I was like I can't tell you I'm sorry last thing then is's like you guys [Music] remember so that last part he asked them do you remember any of the Chinese that we just taught you and basically they had trouble with it again now this is a close-up photo of a Team USA Jersey that someone was in that crowd that huge welcoming crowd when Steph and dearin arrived at the hotel and they managed to get it signed by Steph so Steph was gracious enough to do a lot of autographs this was a curry 4 really nice really artistic piece of artistry for lack of a better word by this [Music] fan waiting the next morning inside and outside and here's a kid that went and got McDonald's for people who were waiting outside so it ends on a good note had the LeBron James fan as it turns out grab of Steph's sweatshirt balanced out by this act of kindness now here is a photo of Staff with dearon they're opening up Curry Brand store this is on September 11th which will be the 12th already in China and there's going to be tons and tons of footage available about this and the event that they're doing to premere that pongu colorway of the Cur 12 that they're doing and finally we were able to get one quick clip in our shorts here our shorts our shorts section where Steph dressed in hot pink with Darren Fox opens the first Curry Brand store in Chang duu so again tons and tons of coverage coming soon this is just the beginning so thank you for
