expectation and then he goes to training camp reminding the training camp for the Warriors start October 1st less than a month from now it's going to be in Hawaii so there will be the the the entire roster there and they will also have as part of the pre-season one game in Hawaii on alulu with against the Clippers so that's on October 5 and then the wars have five more games after that and you can see uh the entire schedule here on the screen so they will play against the Kings and then they play against the Kings again but they will already be back right so and then they play against the Pistons the Lakers and then the Lakers again in their last game October 18 and then they rest and they will start their season October 23rd and here you can see also that markstein confirmed that the Davis Briton was actually invited he's not signed he was invited Ed to work out with the Warriors expecting for a training camp so Davis Burton has been invited to work out for the Warriors as a have so the wars are still looking to increase in size second verz is a free agent he played 43 games last season he is also not in his PE anymore but he's a free agent he's not going to cost many uh first rounds or second round Peaks or even other players uh from our roster right now if he was those 43 games with Oklahoma with the Charlotte horns and if you look at his stats here on the screen you will see that in terms of points for example he's almost twice the amount of points that Kevin L is able to provide or has provided at the same amount or similar amount of minutes right he's not that big key player that is going to change our game but he's definitely bringing that sharp shoot shooting as you can see here as well he's a great three-point shooter he will bring that to our roster and especially to that second unit so he's be he's going to be a rotation player but he will be providing that second uh unit score that we need because when you look to our second unit right now we have great defensive players such as Gary Pon the second uh Danon Melton or even Kyle Anderson but we don't have those big scores maybe it's going to be buddy Hugh dep on if he's going to be part of the starting lineup or not so let's take a look on a few highlights from Davis Burton here as you can see he's in the Charlotte warn shooting from Far uh shooting from deep and that's that's going to be important as I said he's coming to that second unit he's a 6.9 so as you can see there helping with the rebound and then catch and shoot uh off the dribble that's that's another important thing again uh he's a he's a point forward right I didn't mention that before four so that's he's is going towards and dribbling it's great he's going to be able to provide a few different things to that second unit and being that taller uh guy as well that really shoots well uh as I said 30 or above 39% uh shooting from three again one more dribbling and shooting so he's going to he's definitely a sharp shooter right he's what the nickname the laian Sharpshooter and I think he could be a great addition a cheap good addition for the Warriors as you keep seeing there in the highlights he's helping a lot and bringing those points he's averaging a little bit above seven points uh per game in his career he hasn't been playing a lot of minutes as well but I I do think he's a great rotation player um as you can see there going for the ring so it's a few different things that he could uh support the wars uh especially being this tall guy that we need so much and being a sharpshooter so the war have a great opportunity right but it still depends on DAV Berton going well in these workouts and being invited to the training camp let's remind like is the same that happened with Rudy Gay in the past he's being invited to work out things go well he get invited to the training camp when he gets to the training camp he's going to be competing with other players right right now the Warriors have ly Warriers I third and G Santos that have non guaranteed contract so they could be replac at for Davis Bon or any other player that gets invited to training camp if they basically get beaten by those players right those players go better than then or Feit better in the roster and the roster needs right now so that's the opportunity that is there for Bon but it's good for the Warriors because obviously we can observe see how things go see what actually needs we have during that training camp and realize if it's better to keep with big Santos and Ling war is the third or if we should go for Bon that is a baller player a sharpshooter there's different characteristics there right and sign in and let and wave those other two players just to give an example of what happened in the past Gary pyton II was a similar situation he was actually competing at training camp with a Bradley and we signed him and that we know what turns out really good player for us provide some scoring and that really good defense for for his size so that's the kind of situation that Burton's right now but I think this is very valuable for the wor there is no uh requirement there is no signing right now it's more we can observe we can decide if that fits well or not and that's amazing and as I said the wars are starting training campaign Hawaii less than a month from now October 1st it's going to be a massive time for the Warriors roster to Define who it's going to be part of our stting lineup which going to actually fit better than others because of all the change that we have done the new rookie how all the players that are already there like kuminga and Moody have evolved we have seen those guys working out so much and posting about it during this off season so there a lot of things going around it's going to be massive for the fans and definitely it's going to Define how the entire Warriors season will play out and there's three major questions that the Warriors need to answer and we want to know who it's going to be Stephen Curry pair in that back back court like who is who is stepping in it's going to be MinGa it's going to be buddy hu who is going to be that guy with Stephen Curry there and who therefore who it's going to be our starting lineup second question are we getting that second score that we need so it's Wiggins getting more minutes and stepping up playing that level of 2022 is kuminga taking another leap and and stepping up to be that second score that the Warriors need and maybe eventually in the future being that guy and our number one guy when Stephan Curry retires and third how is Steve CT dealing with the size at this point we know that has bothered the Warriors and defense so many times we have uh faced some challenge in in a few games and or actually some games a lot of games last season and the previous Seasons because of size so how is that playing out right now and and and that could be the answer that Davis Burton comes out to support bringing that uh size an extra size for a power forward uh he's taller than Draymond Green he's taller than jonath kuminga so he's bringing more size especially to that
