Full Tour of DoubleTree by Hilton on Tampa Bay | Hotels in Tampa, FL | Free Cookies & Great Location

today we are back at another hotel going to do another hotel tour this time it's the Double Tree right on Tampa Bay it's right the bay is right there back there we've actually stayed one time at this hotel and thought it was good like it's a nice part um it's not obviously on the beach but when we stayed the first time it was an easy drive to get to like Clear Water uh really the airport is the biggest the airport it's eight minutes from the airport and then also an event that we have tonight is a concert at the amphitheater and I think it's only I don't have a 15ish minutes maybe away it's pretty close 15 to 20 minutes um but we are going to stay here tonight and show you what the room is like just kind of show you around in case you need to go to maybe Clear Water the airport or the amphitheater cuz we just came from the airport cuz we just came from the airport as far as the room goes it's a two queen bedro we are um Hilton members so we got that rate which was I think $157 a night but with tax it was about 180 something and then it does cost to park but you can go ahead and add the parking on to your room when you book it it was like $24 a night so total was about 200 204 209 somewhere in there for parking and your stay um we will show you the cookies you get we'll show you how to kind of Park and then just show you what the hotel is like of course we'll do a bed test let's go check it [Music] out so it's showing that we turn right at this light which will be Rocky Point Drive North Rocky Point Drive and if I recall it's just kind of like back here past all this other this buildings and office space it says we stay left yep stay left and not sure why that car is going cuz I didn't have a stop sign stay left to Double [Music] Tree then you go oh yeah it's right back here it's right on the Bay Tampa Bay Tampa [Music] Bay all right then figure out where we can park to get checked in I don't really know what else to do since the uh shuttle right there so we're just going to park here Timber's going to stay in the car I'm going to run in and check in probably won't film much yet till we get up to the room enter through these doors over to the right here oh they've got some like goodies over here is where you would check in score we got our Double Tree cookies I'll tell you uh about parking and stuff here in just a second this is the parking permit they said um keep it on your dash so just set it right up here and we are on the sixth floor and your room key will get you in and out of parking all right room key here should let us park park at your own risk park at your own wrist that's right um scan key here yep there we go now we're going to find a spot and you can see Tampa Bay right here so after you park we're going to walk up this way again we are room 620 620 they do have a shuttle here maybe they'll have some information in the room what all they offer I know there's a pool out back by the bay overlooking the bay let's see elevators are going to be maybe over this way here's the old check-in area again they do have the blue fin Waterfront Grill I'm sure there's uh the pool Straight Ahead here um have some restrooms down that way elevators right here the blue fin Waterfront Grill the pool we'll have to walk down the pool we might even have a pool view room who knows I don't know I don't know what we got um and then I'm sure they've got like a fitness center or whatever too okay so here's different options on different levels guest laundry seventh third floor Fitness first floor you got the pool it doesn't say that but there's pools on there and out of seven floors we're six 620 would be this way oh 621 622 so it should be right here so I forgot to say the first time we stayed here we actually stayed in one of the suits it was I think uh one was it a no it was a two queen bed Suite I think so it had like the little living room with the kitchenet and then a bedroom off of that we do not have a suite today just we're here for a short amount of time so just got the regular two bedroom uh room I think the suit might have the view of the pool cuz I think we had a pool view or we had some sort of water view this one we have a parking lot with a little bit of water and they do have a greeting right here on the TV so here's the little entry area and then this is what the little sleeping area looks like and then I'll zoom out here in a second turn the corner those doors are locked so I'm wondering if they like I don't know I don't know what that is through here the bathroom and then shower so it's just basic but not bad for the location now if we zoom out see this is what the beds look like it is nice and clean um couple USB ports and uh regular plugin Outlets they at5 oh did they so there's the entry there little desk with some coffee I'm guessing that's a refrigerator in there refrigerator in there probably I would guess yeah and then this way is where you'll find bathroom nice big mirror that has the light on it there and then the shower here is the directory so if you're able to scan that that'll show you some other amenities that this hotel has so this is how close you are to the airport it's right there and the stadium it looks like Raymond James Stadium where the buck play right there so this is mostly a parking lot view cuz this is where you actually pull in down this road so on the other side is where you would actually see the water from the bay although this is part of it but it's on around that way and of course bed test oh this one's very soft this is a very soft bed so not firm at all soft bed you can be the judge on if you would prefer soft or firm here's the size of that cookie it's a large cookie I don't know if we'll show the pool tonight or not we might even do it in the morning cuz we do have a concert we're going to so I don't know TimeWise if we'll be able to but um we will try to show it sometime in this video and I think we'll eat this cookie hang out just for a second and I might grab something to eat but like I said we have that concert so I'm probably going to pause the video for now eat this cookie and enjoy it and looking at the TV they do have Netflix Pluto TV adjust controls Direct Connect hey can you go go over to the hotel option real quick up at the top yeah oh so it's just going to make us scan that again but that should be able to show you all the hours of everything maybe whether today or tomorrow whenever watch us hey yeah you could stream YouTube and watch us that's right um but regardless of if we show the pool or today or tomorrow we'll try to get the hours and stuff for you before this video is done now like I said we're going to head out to a concert so more than likely we'll just have to film some of the amenities at this hotel tomorrow I did look online pool closes at 10:00 it's open I believe 6:00 to 10 every day there is a seasonal um like food and beverage spot down there and um the restaurant downstairs the blue fin Waterfront Grill Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and then then Saturday Sunday 7 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. it said breakfast is not included you have to pay for breakfast um but those are the hours I can think of oh and earlier I said parking's $24 I actually think parking is $20 but with tax it might be $22 to $24 so I think what we'll do now is pause the video go to the concert it'll be night time when we get back but then um more than likely go to bed bed wake up in the morning tell you how we slept do a tour of the pool maybe even get breakfast at that restaurant and then finish the video there's those blue fin hours now that there's no one sitting out here here's the look at the lobby the hotel lobby all right we just got back from the concert it's 1140 I think going to go up to the room honestly call it a night we can show the rest to the hotel after we get some rest so I think what call for tonight sixth floor sixth floor see you in the morning it's currently the next morning we're going to take you around and show you the rest of the hotel we're going to head up to the laundry and show you what that looks like so as soon as you come off the elevator guess laundry oh wow it's just right here gives you some drying and washing times and then all so you can scan to like do your payments and stuff so it's not in an actual room but you got laundry now we're going to head to floor three to show you the fitness center and then we'll finish out at the first floor for the pool floor take a right after you come out of the elevator actually overlooks the lobby area fitness center and restrooms oh okay okay open 24 hours that's not bad and then we'll head back to the car put our stuff up and go show you the pool just make note that the restaurant is closed daily from 10: to 11:00 we're going to head to the pool Courtyard pool Courtyard this way I might just show it from here since there's quite a bit of people out there but here's what the pool looks like you've got nice little is that a restaurant over here oh yeah it's not open right now but the blue fin also operates as a restaurant out here and uh it overlooks the bay and a seating area over there that's covered looks like some of these rooms you can have like a little balconies balcony outdoor area but anyway that's the pool they also have this hydro massage room and then back outside next to the water always nice being next to the water that was our stay here at the Double Tree right on Tampa Bay which is behind us second stay just as good as the first although the first stay had the suite this time we just had the regular room it was very quiet mhm very quiet and rooms were nice the bed was nice we didn't get to try the restaurant this time maybe next time but it just gives you a place to stay if you don't want to spend as much money going into like clear water or the beach area and if you're not wanting to stay at the airport or if you're trying to go to the amphitheater either way we did good location it is a good location we did add it up and it was about 20 anywhere from 20 to 25 minutes depending on traffic to the actual Amphitheater um I I enjoy it you get the cookies that's a perk right there and you have the pool that seems nice and the water right here so um if you're looking for a place to stay in Tampa check out
