tweet from OSU quarterback former OSU quarterback Spencer Sanders today paraphrase slightly let's be for real I've been in the portal since early December I haven't had anything to do with the recent activities within the university that there's business their their business not mine leave my name out of any conversation with the program thank you so guys right now Dusty it looks like Sanders is deciding between Auburn Ole Miss and Missouri odd week right the cryptic tweet that he put out the laughing emoji with the hand over the face looks pitcher Sanders he did some great things at Oklahoma State I wish he would have come back I've been kind of holding out hope it's been so long maybe he comes back I think that we can push that to the Wayside Auburn makes the most sense to me new head coach Aaron Hugh freeze the system that offense is it seemed pretty free-flowing very quarterback friendly both throwing it and running it that would make the most sense to me they've got a pretty good nil system in place so if I had to guess I would guess Auburn but who knows at this point I just hate that as he's leaving he's going to rub some people the wrong way on the way out just a bad way after such a great career at Oklahoma State yeah he was the best quarterback in the league for the better part of the last two years and had streaks where he was as well OSU needs a veteran quarterback now to uh as one guy wrote calm the waters I I think that's accurate yeah well you know there may be more on that front coming up but it won't be Armstrong The Graduate transfer from Virginia he's decided to stay in the ACC and go to North Carolina State and by the way Sanders and Mike Gundy did meet at some point after the season and the decision was made that he wouldn't come back that's the best way it was phrased all right the latest news in terms of guys leaving safety Jason Taylor II says he'll enter the NFL draft and of course he's been a ball Hawk for the last three seasons it's a tough loss here but it's not unexpected Braden Johnson by the way also turning pro and and then Dusty had the rash of receivers leaving starting with uh John Paul Richardson John Paul Richardson Bryson Green and then obviously Johnson leaves as well and he was just we saw flashes of Brilliance from especially 84 yards screen that he took to the house in the bowl game why is this happening there's a lot of questions questions a lot of rumors going around but it was just odd that in two days you lose three receivers remember the younger the Presley Brothers he already left he's going to Tulsa so what last year felt like one of the deepest position rooms in the conference is now very very thin they have gotten the Washington State transfer via the portal I think they'll be just fine but it just seemed odd the timing that three of those guys within a 48-hour time period all the part but I want to mention Jason Taylor I loved watching this guy in Stillwater I think he's an absolute Superstar and I was about mid-season two-thirds the way through I was doing a game and I talked to the Scout and he just raved about Jason Taylor thought he was one of the best players in the Big 12 and so he had told me at the time he thought he was about a third round pick so we'll see throughout the draft process what he can become but I know at least from one Scout that told me thought that he was a phenomenal player he's got a big future at the next level briefly on the receivers when Richardson made that move I knew it was pretty significant you know he just didn't seem like the kind of guy that would be a team cap that's right sure and the report is is that he's looking to be a number one option at a school somewhere now interesting visit from division three All-American Leon Johnson III a 6'5 receiver from George Fox University in Oregon and a source says don't be surprised at their quarterback news in the next couple of days nothing confirmed yet as for the Cowboys presented at the Under Armor All-American Game by tanyon fry bomb he may step into a roll quickly the Cowboys needing to replace outstanding Long Snapper Matt hembrough and the preferred walk-on from Scottsdale is ready for a chance
